When ‘He’ Returns.

(Written from the perspective of Orochimaru.) I became severely frustrated when this man, who dared to slash my hideout's door and come inside, was just staring blankly at a newspaper. He did that for almost ten minutes, if not longer.Kabuto tried to talk him out of his blank period of vacant looks, but in vain. And he would not answer me when I asked him what was the new information that he had received that had stimulated him to change his mind. He later tore the paper, a clear and a -somewhat-clever way to obscure it from my eyes. When he told me that he wanted to change the person whom he wanted to revive, I agreed. As one would naturally expect. A mere irritation is not enough for someone of my caliber to lose my rational thinking. I told Kabuto to prepare the necessities for the Kinjutsu, and thus did he. He got the special seal ready, and I got the DNA of the person, a little difficult task as it seemed for the man.

I told Zoro that we would be doing the resurrection process inside, and managed to persuade him to stay outside. The decision to keep him outside, was because to not let him know about the sacrificial victim required. This man appeared to be a man of such nature to deflect from acts of injustice, and in this situation, he would break the deal if he realised this. It took a reasonable amount of convincing, and brute stubbornness from his side, but after what it seemed hours, he agreed. I was growing more and more repulsed and irritated from this guy each and every second. And each second seemed to be a minute. But nevertheless, I maintained my composure, telling myself that what really mattered was to fulfil the final goal and obtaining the Rinnegan. The greatest of the Three Dojutsu did not deserve to lay in the hands of this bastard. I took on my sly smile, hiding my hideous intent from Zoro.

He then left outside and sat down, rather reluctantly ,not in a point of view from which he could see us progressing with the jutsu. I decided to use a very powerful talisman attached to a kunai, with a specific purpose of controlling the person who was going to be reanimated, whose name was Gol D Roger, If I remembered correctly. His name carried Power, much more than the previous girl. Names rarely are imbued with it, but ones which are create immense impact on the wheel of time. So once I realised this, I created a special talisman, much more powerful than previous ones used on former Edo Tensei victims. It goes without saying that I did so, or else apparently this man here would turn against me with Roger and try to attack us. We wouldn't want that now, would we? Kabuto brought a man, a certain summon from a scroll, whom we keep for emergencies like these. They are extremely portable, as he doesn't have to go to the nearby habitable place to get one. I priorly sent the Sound 4 to catch some humans, or perhaps 'kidnap' them, both for my experiments, and a much lesser ratio being for the Reanimation Jutsu. Kabuto stuffed a cloth inside his mouth, and gagged him to the point of nausea. A revolting smell aroused from the man, and I realised he had vomited. Such vulnerability. It disgusts me. When all the preparations were completed, I stood in the center of the warehouse, and having plenty of place to do the ritual, I started. I first took the scroll, and opened it in a swift graceful manner, aside from the fact that they were still badly wounded and rotten. I kept the piece of bone given to me by Zoro, as a substitute for the DNA required. The bone, which was only a few scores of millimetres in length, was placed in the middle of the scroll, which was inscribed with inscriptions and a circular network of dark chakra ink. I positioned it in the center and placed the scroll down. Kabuto offered some of his blood, as this also was necessary, and this blood cannot be taken from the victim, for reasons unknown, and I have tried many times to use the blood of the being sacrificed itself, in vain. My loyal assistant sliced his hand and blood spread out on the scroll, engulfing the white bone dirtied my mud and decayed by nature. I simultaneously did the hand signs required to start the process, and thereby, consuming the victim's soul and replacing it with the soul of the desired person, in this case, Gol D Roger. It was a long process, consisting of a various multitude of hand seals, my willpower, concentration, and durability. When I was halfway through, the victim, a male of about five and forty years, his hair just beginning to whiten, began to disintegrate. His body was turning into ashes by the minute, and the ashes floated up, as if gravity were interchanged in that place alone. Whitish grey ashes peeled themselves from the man, while he himself was struggling, suffering and moaning unable to restrain himself.

And in his place, when the ashes had been peeled off, there sat a man. . .

Kaizoku-Ō Gol. D. Roger.

Legendary pirate.

Only known man to reach the final island of the Grand Line, Raftael.

Whose Haki dominated all. Nobody could withstand his mere presence, save a few mighty men.

He sat there cross-legged, his posture straight as ever. His invincible sword lay at his side attached, Ace, a cutlass renowned as one of the 12 Supreme Grade Meito. He had an indomitable curved moustache, imbued with an unconquerable personality. He possessed a fierce grin, and intense eyes which bore through one's soul, dominating it. He sat there, tall, muscular and (quite) handsome, threatening to tower above all if he stood up, which he would, being almost 9 feet tall.

He sighed, grinned deeply and said, " Ah, just when I was getting quite bored of the killer vibes of death…"

One day, i woke up and thought…

What if Roger was there during the Battle of Marineford?

[ Would it have changed anything? ;) ]
