Have it your ovn damned vayyyy!!!

While Whitebeard and Roger's duels ravaged the very earth on which they were standing, Marco's forehead was creased with worry.

'This is what I was most afraid of…' He muttered, as he glanced at his captain retching up crimson blood.

Though that distraction was his downfall. As his eyes constantly flickered towards Whitebeard, Admiral Kizaru used this as an opportunity to attack the mighty Marco.

"Victory or defeat can be determined in a single moment's misstep." Kizaru boldly said, as he pointed his crooked finger towards Marco.

A dazzling yellow light burst out like a projectile from his finger, and lighted up the dark sky for a fraction of a second when Marco tumbled down from the obscured sky.

What could be called as a chain reaction was what happened.

Seeing their First Division Commander fall, though not permanently, caused the pirates to become distracted in turn. 'Diamond' Jozu roared , " Marco!!!", and yet as he bellowed, he became a popsicle by Aokiji's ice.

"Dear me. . . Getting distracted?" Haughtily asked Admiral Aokiji.

Watching what had transpired, Vista shouted. "They've taken out Marco and Jozu. . . And Pops don't look so good either…!"

A few paces beside the commotion, Monkey. D. Luffy lay stretched out on the cool ground, which was a contrast to the hotness of the battle. He had no strength, no energy left to do nothing but speak himself out.

Right next to him, Emporio Ivankov yelled at Strawhat. Now, any man would not shout at his fallen ally, but he was doing it with a proper cause.

"Uhh?!? Another shot of Wigorous Hormones? Outrageous!! You can take no more! After fighting your vay through the treacherous Impel Down and almost dying from a deadly poison, your body is truly far beyond it's limit!!!" If you push your body any further than this . . . YOU'LL TRULY BE THROWING YOUR LIFE AWAY! ! !"

But Luffy was relentless, and acceptedly stupid. Extending his rubber arm to put it on Ivankov's shoulder, he yelled with a staggering voice of his own. "I'll do everything I can… If I die, then SO BE IT! Just let me fight, Iva-Chan …!"

Pulling Ivankov to stare into his eyes, Luffy snarled with desperation. "If by not fighting now… I failed to save Ace… That… WOULD MAKE ME WANT TO DIE!!!!!"

Luffy's eyes were wide enough to make the ocean seem miniscule. "Please… Just give me the power to fight right now…!"

But still, Ivankov would not be convinced. He bellowed, his mouth large enough a hole to swallow entire humans whole. " I thought I told you this before…! If I let you die, I von't be able to face Dragon, you utter fool!"

Yet right then, he was overcome by adrenaline and exasperation from denying, that his hands moved by its own.

"Vell… Very vell then…" Snarled the miraculous Okama King, as he flexed his hands to make his nails pop out.

"HAVE IT YOUR OVN DAMNED VAY!!!" As beads of sweat formed 'round his temples, Ivankov gave a jerk and inserted his sharp talons of nails directly into Luffy's ribcage.

Sudden as a bolt of lightning, Luffy bolted upright, standing. Nobody knew he had, until seconds after.

Luffy stood, stretched hard, and howled. "Nngggaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!"

With a scream that made his mouth almost as large as Ivankov's, Luffy howled until his voice cracked. The hormonal rush had been to sudden, thus his body could not intake the gush of it efficiently.

As his voice rang across Marineford, many allies and foes of Luffy alike spared a glance at him.

Of course, nobody stopped trying to tear each other's heads off their necks, but even the loudest bellow at least deserved that one glimpse.

On the Tower, Ace saw his beloved brother taking such dangerous measures to save him, to rescue him, that he appeared to tear up.

"Luffy!"

Ace's face and body were entirely covered with scratches and bruises, and he was undoubtedly exhausted, more mentally than physically. And more shackled were his mind and judgemental skills than his limbs.

But to Luffy, the world was probably a thousand miles away. He ignored any and everything that was going on around him, and he swiftly sprinted towards Ace, fast enough to create a dust cloud behind him. Fast as a tiger he ran, after realising that the next pair of executioners had extended their swords to above Ace's neck.

As Luffy darted towards his brother who was in danger of extinction, all the while kicking butts and punching cheeks, the Queen of the Kamabakka Kingdom ran alongside him, using his large legs to easily stay at his heels.

"Oi Stravhat Boi!! Remember, if you fall down yet again, ve vill not be sseing each other in this vorld again!" He added, even after seeing that Luffy was paying no heed to what he spoke of.

"My adrenaline shots do nothin' but deceive one's own body!!! Do not forget that your vounds have yet to be treated!!!"

Nevertheless, Luffy persevered on, with sole focus on his destination. He thrashed any and all the Marines who stood in his way, and was suddenly startled when he saw a friend in that crowd of foes.

Coby, a young aspiring Marine with hair as bright as the Cherry Blossoms, braced himself for Luffy's impact. He had been and is Luffy's friend, and he held the pirate in high regard.

Though his interests clashed with those of his friend's, he steadied his mind to spar off.

'If I do not fight, I cannot grow… This is a battlefield, and I have to do the necessary things to gain victory until my last breath…!' Thought he, as he himself raised a fist.

But the poor man had no chance against the rampaging Luffy. Overflowing with anger, Luffy refused to recognise the man before him as a friend, and coiled his arm backwards.

"Gomu Gomu no … Soru Bullet . . .!!!"

He screeched, as his attack landed on the frozen Marine's face. A direct punch on the vulnerable nose, Coby collapsed, realising once again that he was the weakest.

But these ranks of Marines were not his last obstacle. Beyond them lay half a dozen Pacifistas, with more arriving on the flanks.

The inhuman robotic killing machines scanned the field, and locked their targets on the sprinting Luffy.

Reciting his name, they opened their bear-like mouth, made in exact likeliness to that of the Shichibukai.

And where their opened mouths aimed, there came destruction incarnate.

Palms and mouths alike shot out powerful beams of lasers, which were almost twice as powerful as the shots Kizaru had released priorly in the battlefield.

Now Luffy was completely frustrated.

His temples started to show their veins, which began to pop out, and Luffy's teeth grinded against each other creating a rumble.

"Dammit! They're a pain in the ass!"

Though just before he was shot at by one of the golden beams, an angel stepped up in front of him, shielding him from harm, or at least trying to do so.

Boa Hancock stood proudly against the group of Pacifistas, solemnly standing to protect her love, her love being a seventeen-year old immature boy.

Yet her life itself was not on stake, for the robotic Pacifistas took her for an ally, and decided to cease fire.

"Shichibukai Boa Hancock, it's an ally… ceasing firing count-down." Declared the Pacifistas, and Luffy turned his head to make a grateful expression towards Boa.

"That's right, you're allies with them… Thank you, Hancock!" Shouted Luffy, as he continued to persevere towards his brother.

Seeing Luffy talk to Boa in an acquainted manner, Ivankov rushed up to ask him, " Huh? Is that not the pirate empress!?"

On the side, Boa Hancock blushed, her cheeks turning as red as a cherry. One might even say she was intoxicated by love, when she spoke, " He said my name yet again . . ."

Yet when the Pacifista in front of her spoke to her, her blissful expression turned to something of a disgusted one.

The killing-machine thus told, " Move, Boa Hancock." In a voice that could chip ice, it's tellings were just a deep rumble, which gave a chill to most who heard it.

Nevertheless, Boa was not perturbed in the least, only frustrated that the machine had disturbed her happy-time.

"I do not wish my elegant name to be spoken by the likes of you!" And as she shouted, her leg came in contact with the blocky face of the Pacifista, and it fell hard.

On the side nearer to that of the Execution Platform, Marco ran, dodging and giving attacks likewise. Now he was faced against Admiral Kizaru, and a few strong Vice-Admirals.

Borsalino, face smug as always, declared, "Nevertheless, it seems as though playtime is over, Marco the Phoenix."

Marco's oval face had a weary expression, but he was almost always like that. His eyelids were halfway closed, and he clicked his tongue due to frustration.

"Tsk."

Suddenly, a Vice-Admiral appeared from behind him, and stabbed at Marco with a jitte.

Now, what was lethal was that the blunt ends of the jitte were imbued with Sea-stone.
