Split cleanly in half, the three warships began to sink rapidly, swallowed mercilessly by the water.
"Impossible!" exclaimed the terrified soldiers, unable to comprehend what they had just witnessed.
"How can this be possible?" murmured a Marine, panic reflected in his eyes.
Faced with Hashirama's devastating actions, everyone was bewildered, paralyzed by deep fear.
"Quick, jump into the sea!" ordered Barricade, seized by panic. Without waiting any longer, the Rear Admiral threw himself into the ocean.
"Run! We must flee!" shouted the soldiers, regaining their senses in the face of the imminent threat. One by one, the Marines desperately jumped from the ships, not daring to stay on deck.
Watching the scene, Hashirama spread his arms in the air, a twisted smile on his lips.
"Now that I am awake, don't run! Let me enjoy this moment a little longer!" he exclaimed with glee.
Whistle! Whistle!
Accompanied by two thunderous hums, two beams of incandescent red light, which seemed to evaporate the sea around them, shot at the terrified Marines fleeing desperately through the ocean, at lightning speed.
"No... I don't want to die!" the soldiers screamed, terrified, as they watched their bodies consumed by the searing heat.
Laughter! Laughter! Laughter!
In a matter of seconds, the sound of burning flesh and agonizing screams filled the air. Before many could react, their bodies had turned to mere ashes, devoured by the intense heat of Hashirama's thermal vision.
Due to the extreme temperature of his attack, the water in this area of the sea began to boil, raising a cloud of white steam that mixed with the smell of blood and burning that permeated the environment.
At the horrifying scene that seemed straight out of hell, King let out a laugh, unable to believe what he was witnessing.
Seeing Hashirama, lost in homicidal ecstasy, ruthlessly killing everyone in his path with his devastating heat vision, panic took over King's face.
Narcissistic and sadistic, these were the words that defined Hashirama's disturbing behavior. Such was King's opinion, who regretted not being warned by Kaido about the true nature of this being.
"Damn! You two are doomed!" roared Tokikake, his voice laden with fury. "After killing Marines, not even the World Government will show you mercy! King, I give you a chance! Order that man to stop this massacre, and maybe I can show you mercy!"
Crash!
Suddenly, with the sound of splashing water, Tokikake appeared, without his hat and with his entire body wrapped in a dark purple Haki.
However, his threats had no effect. In a matter of minutes, the three powerful warships, each with over 300 soldiers aboard, had been submerged in the depths of the sea, staining the waters a disturbing crimson.
"How... how is this possible?" murmured Tokikake, stunned, floating in the air, his gaze lost as if his soul had left his body.
Nothing he had imagined had happened; everything had collapsed, and what tormented him was one question: Who was the man accompanying King? Why was he on his side?
"...Don't tell me... the legendary... God!" murmured Tokikake, as a terrifying idea formed in his mind, making him shudder. His body began to sweat profusely as he raised his gaze to the man still floating in the air, watching him with contempt.
When he received the mission to capture King from Tensei, he had mentioned that King was heading to the West Blue on Kaido's orders, aiming to resurrect someone who had been erased from this world's existence.
The threat was so grave that simply mentioning his true name would prompt the World Government to send assassins.
The being Kaido had tasked with resurrecting was worshipped by the people of Wano as their God, their deity.
Known by many as Hashirama, the Ninja God.
But Tensei had assured him there was no need to worry, for how could they revive the dead? It had all been an excuse for King to flee. Tokikake had also agreed, taking it lightly.
Now, it seemed everyone had been wrong. What Kaido had said was true, and King had come to the West Blue to resurrect the legendary Ninja God.
"No, it can't be him, right?!" shouted Tokikake, expelling an overwhelming aura of energy, though it was not Conqueror's Haki, it possessed considerable force.
Obviously, due to his position in the Marines, Tokikake had also obtained that classified information. But the report had no photograph, only the description of a tall man with long black hair and samurai armor.
A few seconds later, Tokikake looked at Hashirama with wide eyes and asked in a trembling voice, "You were killed... how have you been resurrected?"
"N-no... I must report this to HQ!" exclaimed Tokikake, panicking. With hurried steps through the air, he disappeared at maximum speed, trying to escape such a fearsome presence.
Seeing Tokikake trying to flee, Hashirama didn't even give him a second glance and ordered King, "Throw his body to the nearest Marine base."
"Understood," King responded, a hidden smile beneath his mask, ready to begin his hunt.
