"Rahahahaha you guys seem strong, better give me a good fight!!" The girl stood up and points her katana toward me, Lever was ready to shoot at any moment but he stopped immediately.

She appeared out of nowhere crouching in front of Lever and with a slight flick of her katana she disarmed him by throwing his gun with the sword, once done, she steps back and hits Lever with a powerful kick blow in the stomach and knocks him down.

After she finished with Lever her aim was me, she tries to slash through my chest but i might be the wrong opponent to fight against. I have a very defensive ability.

The katana flickers spark when it makes contact with my rock armor and bounces back, the girl retreats from her attack and steps back.

"You're an interesting one...what did you use to make that armor appear?"

"This is my devil fruit powers."

"Devil fruits...?"

She doesn't know about them either, this girl is too dangerous to reveal how my abilities work.

Her grin alongside her eyes are instigating hostility...she sees me as an enemy. I can say i have enough experience to fight someone like this but i don't know anything about her besides that she uses a katana to fight.

"Why do you fight us..?" I'd like to try bypass fights, i can't explore the island and we can also die, even captain was knocked out by this girl...

"Rahahah...Now you want to retreat? Weren't you guys aiming towards me?!"

She has a good point, we were aiming just for safety though...but it's our fault here, i should apologize...

"We're sorry for that! Can you forgive us for our rudeness..?!" i bow my head to the ground, she doesn't seem like a bad person even though her fierce personality says otherwise.

Having my head in the ground, i hear stepping sounds which were getting closer, will she accept my excuses...?

"Die, trash!" I perceived a swinging sound, i lift my head and i see the girl holding her sword lifted up. I'm....i'm going to die....?

My eyes closed by reflex.

...i still feel alive...

I haven't died..?

I open my eyes and i witness the girl having her hands up with captain right behind her with his gun touching her head.

"Checkmate, Crimson girl."

"Will you kill me...?"

"I don't have a reason for that, we are alright so i won't shoot you if you're willing to stop fighting."

"Than i assure you, i will not fight anymore, lower your weapon."

"Sure..."

They got to a mutual agreement, the girl takes her katana from the ground and left it in the sheath. She sighs and sits on a boulder having her hands filled with a chunk of roasted boar meat.

"So who are you guys?" The samurai girl spoke with her cheeks full of meat.

"I'm Lever, the Shadow Pirates's captain, i'm a wanted person with a bounty of 9,600 berries, i'm also known as "Grim Bullets".

"You're a wanted person...? I didn't know." They really are notorious, i wonder what will happen if sis finds out about me getting in a criminal group.

"You haven't ask, also i thought that you knew." I haven't asked so he has a point, i didn't know because i was training the majority of the time so i haven't read too many newspapers

"That guy beside you also has a bounty...? He's quite strong.." The girl points at me with a meat bone.

"I don't have a bounty yet, i am a beginner in piracy wise but i have worked for the Navy for a while even though i just trained there though.." A cold sweat drop is sliding on my left cheek, the word "Navy" alarmed both captain and the girl.

"You're a captain, right? If a guy like this is in your crew...then how much you can be sure that you won't be blackmailed to the Navy?"

She's doubting my loyalty...i don't blame her, me and the captain have just met two days ago. It is not weird if a guy who has branches from the Navy won't blackmail a pirate...

I look at captain while has his stare aimed towards the samurai girl, i can't tell what he's feeling, he's simply emotionless looking which makes me worry if he is alright with what i've said.

"All my crewmates are trustworthy. No need to worry about that." That clarifies once again how much trust has in us, he's certainly a true captain.

"I will dedicate myself to be trustworthy and show that!" I don't want to let these words dissipate so i will work harder in order to achieve that!

"I have high expectations from you, by the way, his name is Steel D. Friedrich, one of my crewmates."

"Yo" I don't really care if i'm rude or not but knowing that my captain is famous i will try to be a bit cocky.

"Nice to meet you, Fried and Lever! My name is Rikka, the one who will become the Strongest Swordsman! Enjoy being in front of a future star!"

She shouts proudly full of herself. Confidence at finest, it doesn't bother me so i just clapped my hands and let her have a nice moment though it became more awkward..

On her forehead appears a thick mark and her face becomes red.

"Don't laugh on me, you bastard!!"

"Ehhh...but i did nothing.."

I don't understand girls...

"You didn't want to be acclaimed?"

"No, it's not that, i really want that..." So she likes to be in the spotlight, it's not really a bad thing.

Knowing that i did applause and whistle which boosted her morale to over 9000.
