Punk Hazard

The crew sailed up and finally reached the surface. The coating wore off and Viper took in a breath of fresh air "Nice to finally breathe again." Zoro chuckled and the Sunny sailed on.

Days passed as the crew traveled.

Many things happened, storms, seaking attacks, and even enemy attacks, but nothing the crew couldn't handle.

Viper was sitting at a table in front of a purple haired man with a robotic arm. Viper said "That's a cool arm. Where did you get it?" the man said "Scientists." Viper chuckled and held up his right arm and said "I'm something of a scientist myself, maybe I can help you make it better?" the man shook his head and said "No thanks, I've had it for a long time. A new one would be hard to get used to. How did you lose your arm?" Viper grit his teeth and touched his right arm "A certain bastard put a hole in my old man, then tried to kill my brother. I tried to stop him, but he took it from me."

The man sighed and said "A pirate cut my arm off and killed my whole crew except two. Another one killed my family." Viper got up and patted the man on the shoulder and said "A marine killed my father." the man said "You're a pirate?!" Viper smiled and said "Does it matter? We're all people, me and you have a lot in common. My adopted father was killed by the marines and the same marine that dealt most of the damage took my arm from me. I hope you find that pirate that killed your family and the one that took your arm." he turned around and walked away.

The man said "Who are you? And who was it?" Viper stopped and said "Viper, and it was Akainu." before walking out the door.

A few days passed

Viper was standing in front of a grave. The grave had the man's robotic arm, Viper sighed and said "I hope you're with your family, Z. If I find the ones responsible for your loss, I will avenge you. Shame we had to be on opposite sides." he took out a new arm he had made for Z and left it on his grave before leaving. Two other marines watched him as he left and teared up slightly.

A few days later

The Sunny was sailing on the seas and Viper was eating in the kitchen when a transponder snail started ringing. He sighed and got up, walking over to the snail as the rest of the crew walked into the room. Robin said "That's a distress signal. There's a 50% chance it's a trap by the marines." Viper went back to sit down, Luffy ran over and said "Hello?! I'm Monkey D. Luffy! I'm going to be the Pirate King! Who is this?!" Viper spit out his drink and looked at Luffy.

There was a voice on the phone "Boss! I need help! There's a Samurai here! He's gonna kill me! Save me!!" the voice was cut off as Luffy said "Where are you?!" Viper said "You can't talk to distress signals.." Luffy said "We're going to save him. Set sail to that island with the Volcano!" Viper mumbled "You only want to go to the island..." Robin shook her head and giggled.

The Sunny stopped in front of fire that surrounded the island. Luffy said "Viper fly me over!" Viper grumbled "I'm still a damn taxi over here.." Ussop said "Who else is going?" Zoro and Robin said "I'll go." Ussop said "Wow, look at that perfect alright see ya guys!" Viper said "You're not coming?" Ussop scratched the back of his head and said "My Cant-go-near-islands-with-giant-flaming-volcanoes disease is acting up again." he fake coughed, Viper looked at Franky and said "Franky, do cyborgs get diseases?" Franky grinned and said "Nope, we're SUPER!"

Viper chuckled and said "So Ussop, if that disease is really bad..." Ussop swallowed and said "Woah! Thanks Chopper I'm cured again! You're the best doctor I know!" Viper chuckled and transformed, the group got on and Viper flew towards the island.

The group landed in front of a huge gate, Viper said "Punk Hazard?" Luffy said "Who cares what it's called let's just go! Fly!" Viper sighed and said "I really gotta started charging fees.." Robin giggled and said "That wouldn't be very nice." as she rubbed his head, causing him to hiss happily.

Viper flew in the air over the island, before he said "Hang on!" and rolled out of the way in mid air, dodging a fire blast. Viper backed off and saw a huge red dragon glaring at him, Lufy said "COOL!" The dragon roared and Viper flared up "What did you just call me, you stupid red lizard?!" he morphed into dragon point and charged at the dragon.

Viper chucked and said "Hold on to something. Heheheh" he flew forwards and grabbed the dragons neck and flipped him over his shoulder, sending the dragons crashing to the ground. Viper flapped his wings and said "Heh, idiot." Robin said "You can understand him? I thought you were a snake?" Viper blinked and said "You're right. I felt him call me a rainbow worm though." Robin and the rest started laughing and Viper said "I wonder if you would die, if you fell from this height..." everyone except Luffy started laughing and Viper chuckled as he flew down and landed on the ground.

The crew got off and Viper reverted as they went to go take a closer look at the dragon. Zoro was looking at the dragon, when he noticed it move it's head. Zoro's reaction was naturally to cut it, and cut it he did. Zoro slashed and cut the dragon's head right off. Viper rubbed his temples and said "Is 'cut, cut, cut' all that runs through your mind?" Zoro snapped "At least I don't look like a god damn rainbow!" Viper said "At least i'm not half-grass." Zoro seethed and took out his swords again.

Luffy said "Hey! Look there's a pair of legs here!" the crew looked over and saw Luffy pulling on a pair of legs attached to the dragon's dead body, Viper said "Very strange place for legs." Robin and Ussop nodded and Zoro eyed the legs suspiciously, Viper could've sworn he saw a thought cut appear over Zoro's head that said 'should I cut it or wait and cut it later'.

Luffy pulled the legs and they popped off, the legs flew and landed on the ground. The legs got up and said "Who are you?! Are you that warlord?!" Luffy was confused and the legs attacked him, he dodged and the legs decided to run away. Luffy was stunned and chased after the legs saying "Wait! Join my crew!!" Ussop snapped "Stop asking that!" Robin looked at Viper, he frowned and said "Uh, no but sort of? I don't know." Robin shook her head and said "We should probably go after him." the group nodded and followed after Luffy.

They found Luffy and noticed he had the legs stuck to his back, Luffy turned around and said "Look! I'm a centaur!" as he ran around, Viper burst out laughing. The crew moved on and continued exploring the island. Ussop said "You guys see that?" Viper looked around and said "See what?" Ussop frowned and said "I thought I saw a woman with wings." Viper grabbed him and said "Did she have pink hair?!" Ussop deadpanned and said "No." Viper sighed and said "Then I don't care, she probably ate a devil fruit..." he grumbled something about never getting to see his princess and followed after Luffy, the other three chuckled and followed after him.

The crew came across a huge lake and noticed that there was ice mountains and constant snow on the other side. The crew turned to Viper, he looked at them and backed away "What? Do I have to be a taxi again?!" the crew grinned and Viper sighed "Damn bastards.." as he transformed and carried them across the lake. They saw a bunch of centaurs and Ussop said "Hey there are more like that centaur guy we saw before!" Viper said "Maybe they're test subjects? Why are there so many of them." the group landed in front of the centaurs and the group started shivering at the temperature.

The giant crocodile centaur said "Who are you?! Wait a minute, you must be the samurai that cut down my men!" he pointed at Zoro and said "Attack!" the centaurs charged at the group and started fighting. The group took them out pretty easily and each stole one of the centaurs' coats as Brook showed up. Luffy went up to the giant centaur and said "Carry us." the giant centaur nodded and Viper cheered "No taxi this time!" as he jumped on a deer centaur woman, she blushed and the rest of the crew got on their own centaurs and left.

After a while of riding, the crew ran into a marine with a jutte getting his heart popped out of his body, encased in some sort of membrane. Viper hopped off the deer centaur and picked up the heart, he said "Woah, it's still beating!" he coated his arm in haki and held it up blocking a sword strike as he said "Watch it cow-hat." Law said "Why are you here?" Luffy hopped down from the centaur and said "Law? Smokey? What are you guys doing here?"

Law said "This is my vacation home." Luffy said "Thanks for saving my life! Where's the talking bear?" Law said "There's no need for thanks." Luffy saw Smoker on the ground unconscious with a hole in his chest, as Tashigi charged at Law again. Law sighed and said "Room!" Tashigi stopped and fell to the ground. Luffy said "I want to ask you something-" Law cut him off and said "Go to the back room, i'll see you later." and left. Viper silently kept Smoker's heart and Luffy said "Let's go then."

The crew ran through the facility and saw Franky punching Nami in the face. Viper said "Franky what happened?" Chopper said "We saved a bunch of kids." Viper was confused and said "I meant why did Franky punch Nami. Chopper, why did you save a bunch of kids?" Sanji said "Because Nami didn't want to leave them behind." Viper held his head and said "What the fuck is going on?" Franky said "I'm Nami! We got our bodies switched!"

Viper smashed his head into a wall and snapped "Why isn't that the first thing that comes out of your mouths?! I was asking questions like an idiot!" Robin giggled and a head said "Are those my legs?" Luffy turned around and the crew pulled the legs off before joining them back with the head.

The 'man' stood up and said "Hello, my name is Kin'emon. Have you seen a boy named Momonosuke?" Viper shook his head and said "No, why are you separated?" Kin'emon said "That Warlord separated me!" Viper nodded and said "That cow-hat guy." he took out a heart and said "I found this on the ground." he squeezed it a little bit and said "It's still beating, I think it's Smoker's" the crew watched as Viper squeezed the heart and Robin said "Maybe you shouldn't squeeze it like that?" Viper chuckled and squeezed some more and said "Damn smokey bastard, I still remember he didn't let me borrow his jutte back in Alabasta. This'll teach him!" he squeezed and rubbed it all kinds of ways.

The crew watched him and shuddered, meanwhile outside with the Marines. Tashigi, who was in Smoker's body was gasping in pain and twitching on the floor and said "Someone is squeezing my heart!" Smoker, who was in Tashigi's body, said "Deal with it Tashigi. You're taking my pain!"

Back to the crew, Viper stopped squeezing and put the heart away. Ussop finished making headbands with faces on them and put them on Nami, Chopper, Sanji, and Franky so they could tell who was talking. Luffy was talking to the tied up Centaurs and the giant one said "My name is Brownbeard. I was the Captain of my ship with the rest of the centaurs, but we were attacked by Basil Hawkins and me and my crew all lost our legs and ended up on this island." he explained that Punk Hazard was actually a beautiful place and a research lab for Vegapunk before it exploded with poisonous gas, destroying the environment and paralyzing the inhabitants from the waist down. He went on to say that Caesar Clown came to the island and cured everyone's poison and made devices so that they could float without the need for legs, after which Law arrived and gave them animal legs, do they could walk again. He finished "You'll end up as test subjects by Master Caesar."

The crew all turned to Viper and saw he was drooling and mumbling "Research, Test subjects..." over and over again. The crew silently backed away, Viper appeared in front of Brownbeard with a maniacal look in his eye and said "Where is this Clown fellow?" Brownbeard for some reason was extremely scared and he stuttered "I-I-I don't k-know!" Viper snapped his towards the kids and started slowly walking towards them, he said "Hey kiddos, wanna see something cool?" the kids nodded and Viper said "Just tell me Caesar is and i'll show you!" he gave his 'kind' smile and the crew shuddered. One of the kids said "He's in the building over there." he pointed to a window, there was a building not too far from them. Viper grinned and transformed into his dragon point and said "I'll see you guys later." he flew through the wall and went towards the building.

The crew watched him go and sighed, Nami snapped "Why did you have to mention experiments?!"

Chopper said "He's lost it..." Brownbeard was confused and said "What did I do?" Nami sighed and said "He's a crazy scientist on our crew and you just stimulated his mad scientist self. That Caesar guy better be smart or he's finished" Brownbeard sneered and said "Master Caesar is the smartest scientist in the world!" The crew looked at each other and laughed right in his face.

Viper flew through the doors of the building. He reverted to his human form and said "Hello? Is there a Clown in here?" he walked through the building, looking for a lab. Guards in hazmat suits showed up and said "Who are you?!" Viper said "I'm here to look for Caesar, do you know where he is?" The guard said "Why are you looking for Master Caesar?" Viper said "I was sent here, by HIM. So I suggest you take me to Caesar before he executes you for stopping me. The people I work for don't like being stopped, I'm sure you can't handle the consequences of making the person behind me angry." The guards hesitated before putting down their weapons and bowing "My apologizes, we will bring you to Master now." Viper nodded and followed the guards excluding an authoritative bearing.

The guards stopped in front of a room and said "This is Master's lab." they bowed and walked away. Viper opened the door and walked in, the door closed behind him and he saw a tall man with a gas-like cloak that said 'Gas-Gas' on it, he also had horns on his head. Viper said "You're Caesar the scientist?" Caesar said "Yes, who are you?" Viper grinned and walked over and said "Viper, Strawhat's scientist. Let's not play any games, we're both smart people. Here's the deal, I assume you have the gas logia by your cloak, so I won't stuff you into a beaker and put a seastone cap, and you tell me what you're working on." Viper looked around and held up his hand and said "Before you sneer and say i'm not powerful enough to beat you, let me tell you if I wanted I could bring this entire building down." he clenched his fist and a white light surrounded it, Caesar gasped and said "T-Tremor fruit?! But you already have a mythical Zoan!"

Viper chuckled and released his fist and said "I don't quite understand the specifics myself, it quite honestly seemed like a miracle." Caesar rolled his eyes and said "Miracles don't happen there must be a logical explanation." Viper frowned and said "But that's just it. There isn't! Here's what happened.." he explained what he was told happened, and Caesar snapped "No! Impossible! Two devil fruits cannot co-exist in the same vessel!" Viper said "I researched Devil fruits before and managed to come to the conclusion that the power of the devil fruit, resides in the heart. If a person was born with multiple hearts couldn't it be theoretically possible for a single person to wield both powers?"

Caesar said "It has never been tested, but it could be possible given enough experimentation. How far have you gone with you research?" Viper said "I burned all my notes, but I was able to have items consume more than Zoan fruits. Unfortunately the items all collapsed after a single usage, except for one." Caesar was shocked and said "WHAT?! How?!" Viper walked over to the equipment and said "I had the devil fruit turned into a fluid and absorbed by a malleable material. The material absorbed the juices and absorbed the power of the fruit. In my experiment it was a glove with a tree fruit, but after growing a single sapling the glove collapsed. I managed to accidentally have a metal staff absorb a cloud logia fruit, quite a shame honestly. I threw the fruit against a wall after deciding to quit my research and when I came back the staff was in cloud form. Have you been experimenting with devil fruits?"

Caesar was absolutely shocked and said absentmindedly "I managed to create artificial devil fruits." Viper whistled and said "That's pretty cool, how did you do that?" Caesar started explaining the process in great detail, Viper nodded along and said "Can you create any artificial fruit you want?" Caesar sighed and said "No, it is only limited to Zoans, and the most basic zoans at that. Also the artificial zoans create mutations to the user's body, permanently. For example if you ate a monkey fruit, you may grow a tail and screech like a monkey at times." Viper nodded and said "So it basically slightly changes the DNA of a person, can they still transform? Or are they constantly in hybrid form." Caesar said "They are constantly in hybrid form."

Viper rubbed his chin and said "Why didn't you just do this.." he began to explain a different process he just came up with using different gasses in smaller amounts. Caesar listened and said "That could actually work! Why didn't I think of it before!" Viper and Caesar started making the fruit to Viper's specifications. They finished the fruit and called in a prisoner, Caesar said "Eat this." the prisoner had no other choice and ate the fruit.

The man's body started to change into a frog. Viper and Caesar looked down at the frog and the frog turned back into a man. Viper said "How do you feel?" the man said "I feel normal-ribbit" the scientist duo looked at each other and Viper said "It's better than permanent disfigurement." he shrugged and Caesar sighed "But he has no attack power." Viper said "That's not true. Look." he turned to the man and said "Turn into a frog and jump towards the guard, while your in air revert back." The man did as he was told and slammed the guard into the wall. Viper said "See?" he walked over and dragged the man away while saying "Do you have a big room here?" Caesar nodded and left, Viper followed him dragging the man along.

They walked into a huge room, Viper put the man down and give him a rumble ball and said "Eat this." the man eat the rumble ball and turned into a big frog, reaching to about Viper's waist. Then into a small frog with 6 eyes, then into a normal frog with an extra pair of legs. Caesar said "What's that?" Viper said "It's called a rumble ball. It allows Zoan users 4 additional transformations." he fed the man two more rumble balls and said "If you eat three in a six hour time frame, you're supposed to turn into a giant monsterized version of your fruit combining all the other aspects of your other transformations." Caesar was stunned yet again, as the man started growing.

The man turned into a giant 20 meter tall frog with 6 eyes, and an extra pair of legs. The frog spit poison at Caesar and Viper, forcing the two to dodge. Viper said "It almost makes you lose your ability to think while in monster form." his fist lit up and he punched the frog, creating cracks and sending it flying. The frog to a wall and reverted back to human form, Caesar said "Those rumble balls are something." Viper smiled and said "Yeah, but I don't know what they do against Logia's do you want to try?" he held out a rumble ball, Caesar took it and looked at it and said "Is it deadly?" Viper shook his head and said "Both of the people I gave it to, were seen alive later. There is a 0.01% chance you die though, but there always is." Caesar bit down on the rumble ball and held his stomach as he ran away. Viper blinked and said "Did I just hit the 0.01%? Unlucky."

Caesar came back 30 minutes later and said "Never again.. Get those things away from me!" Viper put his rumble balls away and said "What happened?" Caesar shuddered and said "Worst pain imaginable! I was on the toilet the entire time, although I feel cleansed now. But that pain was unbearable!" Viper rubbed his chin and said "Do you feel any stronger?"

Caesar turned his hands into gas and said "No, but I can turn into gas faster, and my gas is purer but only slightly, it's barely noticeable." Viper sighed and nodded as he pulled out a book and wrote it down. All of a sudden the door bust open revealing Law, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji. Viper waved and said "Hey guys! What are you doing here?" Law said "Capturing Caesar." Viper said "Oh. Can I keep him after?"

Caesar snapped "Do I look like a pet to you?!" Viper chuckled and grabbed him with Haki covered hands as he held up a rumble ball and said "I've never tested what 2 of them would do. Do you want to find out?" Caesar paled and Viper chuckled as he held Caesar by his throat and said "Why are we capturing him again?" Law said "He's dangerous and needs to kept under watch, I already allied with your captain to take down a warlord and a yonko." Viper mouthed his mouth wide and said to Luffy "Which one is it?! I thought we were going after that old hag first?" Luffy said "Kaido." Viper grinned and said "Perfect! I get the strongest after Kaido!" Zoro snapped "You already got that for Big mom!" Viper stuck his tongue out and said "You didn't call it now either!"

Law pinched the bridge of his nose and said "Why is your whole crew freaks?" Luffy laughed and said "They're funny!" Viper suddenly said "Do you have cuffs? He's a logia, how are we supposed to capture him?" Caesar snapped "I can hear you!" they ignored him and Law said "Room." and popped Caesar's heart out. He picked it up and said "Now he has to listen or he'll die." a voice was heard "Every good plan, Law." everybody turned and saw a man with a half eaten hamburger on his face.

Viper said "You got a little something on your face." the man touched the side of his face, where there was nothing and Viper said "No idiot! The other side! You don't feel it?!" the man grabbed the hamburger and was surprised he said "That's where that went." before finishing it.

Law said "Vice-Admiral Vergo, why are you here?" the man wiped his mouth and now had a spoon on his face as he said "I'm not just a vice-admiral, I'm also a subordinate to Joker." Luffy asked "Who's Joker?" Vergo said "Donquixote Doflamingo." Viper was standing next to Caesar and said "The super tall guy with red glasses that wears a pink feathery coat?" Vergo nodded and Viper said "I met him during the war! He was the guy that told me I couldn't beat him because I didn't have Haki yet." Vergo said "Right... Anyway I can't let you leave with Caesar." as he pulled out a heart himself and squeezed it.

Law spasmed and dropped Caesar's heart, Viper flew forward and grabbed Caesar's heart and said "Stop squeezing his heart, or i'll crush Caesar's." as he slightly squeezed Caesar's heart, causing Caesar to twitch and fall to the floor. Vergo stopped and said "Who are you?" Viper said "You don't need to know that. You just need to give me Law's heart. I'll give you Caesar's, I'm sure that's a fair trade. Caesar's life is more valuable than Law's anyway, so really I'm losing out here." Vergo was quiet before saying "How are we doing this." Viper walked over to Caesar and pointed at the hole in his chest and said "You put Law's heart back into his body and I'll put Caesar's back in his at the same time. Do not cross me I can kill Caesar anytime."

Vergo walked towards Law and put Law's heart on his chest, Viper had Caesar's heart on his chest he squeezed it slightly, causing Caesar to wince as he said "3,2,1. Now." they both pushed the hearts in slowly while watching each other. Both hearts were in their bodies and Viper kicked Caesar towards a wall and said "Catpure him we have Law's heart!" the group nodded and left. Vergo was about to stab Law and kill him, when Viper tremor punched him, sending him flying into a wall while coughing up blood.

Viper turned around and said "You okay cow-hat?" Law coughed and said "Yeah. Thanks." Viper smiled and said "No problem, we're allies remember?" as he turned around and caught Vergo's Haki filled punch and said "I fought people stronger than you 2 years ago." he pulled Vergo forward and punched him in the face, sending him rolling on the ground.

Law got up and said "We need to-" before he held his hands over his neck, Viper held his breath and turned around to see Caesar fighting back against a struggling Sanji, Zoro, and Luffy. The trio and Law soon passed out due to Caesar withdrawing the oxygen in the air. Viper flew over and grabbed Zoro and Sanji before breaking a wall and throwing them outside, he raised his fist and smashed it in the air, creating cracks as he threw Law near Luffy and passed out himself, beside them.

Viper woke up in a cage along with Law, Luffy, Smoker, and Tashigi. He turned to them and said "What happened?" Smoker said "Caesar and that traitor captured us and threw us in a cell, and someone still has my heart!" Viper chuckled and threw a heart over to him and said "I might've squeezed it a bit for what you did in Alabasta." Smoker growled and Tashigi snapped "I'm still in him! You were hurting me instead!" Viper looked at Law and then at Smoker and Tashigi and said "I don't consider myself an expert, but shouldn't he be inside you?" Law chuckled and Tashigi's face turned bright red, Smoker snapped "WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU DAMN RAINBOW HAIRED BRAT?!" Viper laughed and said "You heard me you smoky bastard. Just do it already, jeez stop wasting everybody else's time.."

Law shook his head and said "Straw hat-ya, it's time to counter attack." he broke the chains and said "I replaced some of the seastone chains with regular ones." he cut the rest's chains and swapped Tashigi and Smoker back to their original bodies. Smoker broke free and lunged at Viper with his Jutte, Viper dodged and said "Alright it was a joke, can we break free now?" Law said "Room" and teleported everyone to the lab where Caesar was. Viper covered his hand in white light and punched through the wall, creating cracks through the entire building shocking Smoker and Tashigi. The group ran into captured G-5 marines and set them free as they started taking down the guards in the facility.

The group ran into the rest of the crew, Nami dragged Sanji to Law and said "Change us back please." Law did and Nami punched Sanji in the head for peeping on her body and said that his probation failed and he has to start all over, much to Sanji's dismay. Viper chuckled and the G-5 marines said "You bastard you blew up the wall! Now the gas in gonna come in!" Viper turned to the marines and waved his hand causing a tornado to scoop up all the poisonous gas that Caesar released and turn it into a ball. Viper held the condensed ball in his hand and threw it outside covered in white light, the ball flew through the sky and decimated a mountain in the distance.

Viper said "What poisonous gas?" the marines choked and were speechless, the crew just chuckled and Smoker said "How strong are you now?" everyone turned to Viper, he rubbed his chin and said "I can't destroy an island like the old man, and i'm not as strong as him either.. I don't know actually, I've only had both my fruits for two years so i'm no where near the old man." he shook his head and said "I haven't fought anybody strong enough to challenge me yet, maybe if Luffy spars with me i'll be able to tell.." Viper whipped his head back at Luffy and noticed he was gone, he sighed and said "So what's the plan cow-hat."

Law said "We need to find a door with 'R Building 66' on it, that's our only escape. You have two hours, after that I going to make this base... Unsafe." Kin'emon, who had the rest of his body now, said "I'm going to find my son!" and ran away with Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Brook, and Ussop following after him.

Smoker said "Tashigi go get the rest of those idiots and saved the kids. Bring them to the escape door. I'm going after Vergo." and left, Tashigi left as well. Viper looked around and said "Is there anything I can do?" Law said "You're the strongest one besides Strawhat-ya, there's not really much to do now." Viper grumbled "I guess i'm following you then. You better hope where ever we go next has stronger people to fight or i'm fighting you." Robin giggled and Law shuddered, Viper said "Robin go after the others, all of them put together don't have enough brains. They're probably running away from something right now." Robin giggled again and said "Okay, see you later!" Viper waved and she left, leaving only Law and Viper.

Law said "Let's go." Viper nodded and followed after him. The were running through the corridors and Viper said "What's your motive?" Law was confused and said "Take down an emperor." Viper rolled his eyes and said "You might be able to play dumb with Luffy, and the rest will go with it but I know you have an ulterior motive. Why would you be so eager to take down Kaido for no reason at all." Law was silent and Viper continued "I think I have an idea do you want to hear it?" Law looked at him, and he just chuckled and said "I think you actually don't want to take down Kaido, you want somebody else's head, but this person is connected to Kaido so you have no choice but ti fight Kaido. You decided that you wanted to ally with our crew, and use us as a scapegoat after you accomplish your goal, so Kaido doesn't chase you across the new world. How am I doing so far?" Law was silent and Viper said "I bet I can even guess who you want to deal with too. You've been in this factory and posses your Warlord status so the government wouldn't bother you, while you infiltrate Caesar's lab waiting to capture him. Caesar is making artificial devil fruits for zoans, and it seems his boss is Doflamingo, I can only assume Doflamingo is supplying Kaido with them other wise why would Kaido even care. I want to say you want Doflamingo's head but I don't know why."

Law finally spoke and said "I guess they don't call you a genius just for show." Viper smiled and said "I try. To be completely honest with you, I don't see your scapegoat plan working. Smoker already saw us together and while he might not know we have an alliance, he will figure it out when we both arrive to take Doflamingo down. There will probably be marines where ever he is anyway, so really unless you plan on trying to kill our entire crew yourself, after we take down Doflamingo, and suck up to Kaido then we're tied to the same boat now." he grinned at Law, who sighed and smirked "You think I would suck up to someone just because he's an emperor?" Viper laughed and patted his back "That's the spirit! Whatever reason you have to take down Doflamingo, Luffy will help you which means we will all help you." Law smiled and the two continued down the corridors.

The duo came to a room with a giant tanker that had 'S.A.D' printed on it. Viper said "What is that?" Law said "The main tank for the artificial devil fruits." Viper nodded and said "We're going to destroy it?" Law nodded before he jumped back, dodging a black bamboo stick.

Vergo appeared and said "Hello Law. Nice to see you again." Viper coughed and said "I'm here too" he hesitated before saying "You have a slice of bread on your face." Vergo grabbed the bread and threw it away and said "Thanks. It's not so nice to see you though. A bit above my pay grade to deal with you." Viper chuckled and said "I'm here to make sure my doctor friend doesn't die. Unfortunately you aren't even worth fighting." as he stepped back and sat on a desk.

Vergo gnashed his teeth and said "Bastard..." and Law shot forward and started fighting Vergo. Viper watched them fight and noticed Law doesn't normally use armament on non Logia users. All of a sudden a transponder snail started ringing next to Viper, he picked it up and said "City morgue."

The voice on the other end said "Who is this?" Viper said "Are you deaf? I just told you. Who are you? Why do you sound familiar?" the voice said "Joker." Viper smiled and said "Ahh Doflamingo it's been a while I haven't seen you since the war how are you?" Doflamingo cackled and said "The brat who can turn into a giant snake, and doesn't know about Haki?"

Viper chuckled and said "The one and only, I know Haki now by the way. What did you call for Vergo?" Doflamingo chuckled and said "Exactly, I assume he's not available?" Viper said "He's a bit tied up at the moment how about I take a message?" Doflamingo said "Who is he fighting? I hope it's not yourself." Viper said "Currently Law, only because he's not worth my time... You however, interest me. Where are you right now?" he was trying to suck out as much information as possible to relay to the rest of the crew later, Doflamingo laughed "You want to fight me? And here I thought we were friends."

Viper chuckled and said "Conflict of interest, my apologies. Would you mind telling me who is your strongest fighters? I would like to know how many people I have to crush before I can take a shot at 'Joker'." as Vergo turned his whole upper body black, and Law cut him in half along with the rest of the factory. Viper whistled and said "That was pretty cool Law, you went through Vergo and the entire building." Law chuckled and said "Doflamingo, your factory is finished. Let's just say it had a couple internal errors."

Doflamingo chuckled and seethed "I already sent Baby5 and Buffalo to Punk Hazard, and will be coming there myself soon for an... inspection. And to answer your question little snake there are seven and two are already on the way." Viper laughed and said "I don't think my captain will be too happy if I take you down myself, who's the strongest out of all of them?" Doflamingo thought for a bit and said "Probably Pica." Viper grinned and said "What can he do?" Doflamingo was silent before he said "How much more intel do you want? I already gave you a lot." Viper said "Well I want as much as I can swindle from you. I already got a lot, don't tell me your little brain only realized now?" Law laughed and Doflamingo seethed "You're finished brat." and hung up.

Viper smiled and said "7 main officers, Pica declared strongest by Joker himself. 2 of the seven on the way as we speak. I assume you know where his base is?" Law nodded and chopped Vergo up before tying him to a railing as he said "Dressrosa." Viper nodded and the duo heard a weak groan, they turned their heads and saw Smoker lying on the ground. Viper grabbed him and put him on his shoulder before saying "Honestly Smoker, why are we always saving you?" Law chuckled and the duo left the room.

They arrived at a huge truck and meet up with the crew, Law said "Where's Caesar?" Luffy said "Somewhere over there. I smashed him through a wall." Law seethed and turned back to go get him while Viper laughed and put Smoker down as the rest of the crew loaded the truck with the kids and survivors of the gas attack. Viper called the crew and said "Doflamingo is on his way here, Law wants to take him down. I talked to Doflamingo before this and he told me he has 7 main subordinates, the strongest being a man named Pica, abilities unknown. Also 2 of the 7 are on their way here as we speak. Law also said that Doflamingo's base is on Dressrosa." the crew were shocked and Robin said "He told you all that himself?" Viper grinned and said "I might've manipulated him a little bit. Unfortunately I couldn't get any more information my apologies."

The crew gave him a look and said "I think you got enough." Viper scratched the back of his head and laughed. Law returned with Caesar and Franky showed up with 2 people chasing him. Viper looked towards the 2 people and said "Who are you?" the woman said "Baby5" the man said "Buffalo." Franky shot a rocket at Baby5 and Nami used Nimbus to make a thunder cloud above them and zapped the duo, sending them into the water. Ussop walked up and cuffed Caesar with seastone cuffs he got from somewhere.

The crew got Baby5 and Buffalo and chained them up, as the rest of the crew threw a party, for successfully winning their first battles in the new world. Viper was eating and drinking as he walked over and sat down next to Smoker and said with a big grin "How you feeling?" Smoker gave him a look and said "Do you want to be arrested?" Viper looked around and said "I don't see any admirals here, do you?" Smoker said "You're getting really cocky kid. You think your invincible just because you have Whitebeard's power? I heard your conversation with Doflamingo."

Viper frowned and said "What's that supposed to mean? Am I supposed to cower in fear everywhere we go? We wouldn't be in the New World if we were scared of warlords and emperors. I might not be as strong as the old man, but I won't disgrace him by fearing anyone!" Smoker said "You're going to hit a wall one day, with that attitude. A hard one. Where did your brains go?" Viper snapped "Nowhere! I'm constantly thinking of how to protect them all!" Smoker scoffed and said "You and I both know you're lying. You haven't used your brain since you arrived at Marineford during the war. You think you're invincible and you're being reckless! You're going around provoking everyone you can, for what? Pride?"

Viper was silent before he grit his teeth and shouted "What else am I supposed to do? You think I wanted this?" he held up his hand and it glowed white "You think I deserve to carry on his will?! I was on his ship and trained by his crew for 2 whole years! There wasn't a second where I didn't think they his power should go back to his crew! I might be a son of his but I couldn't even save Ace or the old man! This isn't a blessing, or a miracle! It's a constant reminder that I wasn't strong enough to save anyone! Though I don't expect a marine dog to understand, all you idiots do is run around yelling Justice everywhere you go and ignore the people who need help." he stood up and spat on the ground as he looked at all the marines and said "You're all pathetic. The old man didn't deserve to be killed by worthless pieces of trash like you. You fucking World Government dogs.." Viper was seething and lifted his fist as it glowed brighter and he was about to smash it down, when Smoker and Luffy grabbed his arm.

Luffy said "They're both gone." Viper trembled, and Smoker said "I don't know how you feel, but I do know that the marines are corrupted. I'm trying to change it, you attacking them for no reason isn't helping the problem. They weren't even there, they're innocent. Look around you."

Viper looked up and saw all the marines cowering in fear, while the kids were scared. Smoker said "These guys haven't seen war. They didn't even leave the G-5 base before I got there, they haven't even seen celestial dragons. You think all marines are the same?"

Viper said "What's your point? Eventually they will, not everyone has a strong will like you do. They will crack and become just like every other marine under that red dog bastard!"

Smoker said "That's my problem to deal with, not yours. Tell me honestly, do you think pulverizing all these guys will make you feel better?" Viper was silent.

Smoker said "You know yourself it wont. I want you to think about the consequences of what you have been doing up until now. Challenging everyone and everything to distract yourself. Do you think that's going to keep your crew safe?" Viper didn't say a word and just clenched his fists.

Luffy said "We're here to help you, Viper. You're not the only one who lost something important that day." Tears fell from Viper's eyes as he put down his arm. Luffy and Smoker let him go and he hybrid transformed and flew off, everyone watched him go and soon heard loud explosions and crying as the ground shook.

Smoker said "Has he been like this for a while?" Luffy said "I haven't seen him use his snake transformations since we left Sabaody for fishman island." Robin said "He's also much more battle hungry, when we were at fishman island after talking to Luffy about something he finished off all the fish men himself. He was also looking for fights with Big mom's crew." Smoker sighed and said "I think for your own safety, you should talk to him." The crew was quiet and Luffy patted Smoker on the shoulder and said "You're a pretty good guy!" Smoker growled and said "Shut up brat! I just don't want you to die before I arrest you myself." Luffy just chuckled and said "Whatever you say, Smokey!" before he patted Smoker on the shoulder again and walked off towards the explosions, Robin and Zoro followed after him.

Smoker was grumbling something about bastards and I hope I never see a straw hat again. One of the G-5 marines came over and said "Thanks boss!" Smoker found a target and snapped "What 'thanks boss'! Go train! If you become like he said I'll kill you myself!" the marines shuddered and started doing push ups.

Luffy, Robin, and Zoro arrived when Viper was and saw a huge crater, with Viper on his knees in the middle of it. Luffy said "Stay here" the duo nodded and Luffy jumped in the crater and walked over to Viper.

Luffy said "How do you feel now?" Viper didn't even look up and said "The same." Luffy sat down and said "When I woke up I was already on Amazon Lily. I was destroying everything around me, Jinbe had to stop me himself. He told me I still had my crew, and all my friends and they were depending on me." Viper said "All of you are my family, but he was a father. I love every single one of you guys and I would do anything for you all, but I never had a father. I was on the old man's ship for a week, just before the war started he took me as a son. He died on the same day."

Luffy said "That's why you have us!" Viper looked up at him, and he smiled "I didn't even know I had a dad until gramps told me, remember?" Viper chuckled at the memory and Luffy said "I know you miss the old man but WE need you. The old man is gone, so is Ace. We weren't strong enough to protect them then, but we can protect the crew now!" Viper looked down at his fists as they turned white and he said "Luffy. Fight me." Luffy grinned and said "You really think you're invincible? Shishishishi I think you forgot.." he jumped back and stretched his fist back before he said "I'm going to become the pirate king!" and shot his fist towards Viper.

Viper jumped into the air and dodged as he said "Not even second gear? Do I look like Zoro to you?!" Zoro seethed and Robin smiled. Viper hybrid transformed and flew towards Luffy punching towards him saying "I'm not gonna stop until you knock me out!" Luffy laughed and jumped into the air as Viper's fist cracked the ground.

Luffy said "Is that all you got?" Viper paused and remembered the old man saying that, he laughed and kicked the ground 10x in a second as he flashed in front of Luffy and hit him with a normal punch sending him flying into the ground. Viper stood in the air and said "Hahahah Looks like I'm the pirate king now!"

Luffy shot out of the ground like a bullet as steam came off of him, he appeared in front of Viper and punched him in the stomach, sending Viper flying. Luffy grinned and stretched his arm back and coated it with Haki, his fist caught fire as he shot it back at Viper. Viper cocked his arm back and coated it with Haki as well, while a white light with black cracks covered it and he threw his punch towards Luffy's fist.

"Gum-Gum Red Hawk!"

"Black Serpent's Tremor!"

The duo's fists collided, creating shock waves and cracks in the air sending them both flying back into dust clouds. When the dust settled Viper was in his full transformation and his tail was black and covered in white light. Luffy had expanded and was bouncing on the ground, his arms and legs covered in Haki ending with flame patterns on his chest. The rest of the crew, kids, and marines arrived next to Robin and Zoro and watched. Nami said "Why are they fighting?" Smoker quipped "The rainbow haired brat, thinks he's invincible. Your captain is bringing him back to reality."

Luffy and Viper stared at each other for a moment, Viper coiled and Luffy's legs compressed into his body, and they both shot forward at the same time. Viper flipped and slammed his tail towards Luffy, while Luffy's fist compressed into his arm and shot forwards.

"Snake King Earthquake!"

"Gum-Gum Kong Gun!"

The duo collided again creating a massive shock wave and evaporating the nearby rocks, making the crater deeper. Viper flipped back and turned into dragon point before flying forward covering his horns in white light as he rammed at Luffy, who blew up like a balloon causing Viper's attack to bounce off him as he shot another kong gun and Viper's head. Viper covered his head with Haki, taking Luffy's blow and flipping forward and slamming his tail on Luffy's head.

They both shot down to the ground making the ground shake. Viper switched to sharp point and flew at an extremely fast speed head first, while turning the front of his body black ending in gear like patterns. Luffy dodged to the side and jumped over Viper's tail at the same time, while he compressed both his fists into his arms and moved them so fast it looked like he had six arms.

Viper spread his wings stopping himself in mid-air before he turned to double-headed snake point. He turned and opened both of his mouths and shot wind blasts and a tremor blasts at Luffy.

"Gum-Gum Kong Organ!"

"Snake King Barrage!"

Luffy shot continuous punches and collided with all the wind blasts and tremor blasts, he stopped them all and his last punch flew towards Viper, who split his heads apart, causing Luffy to miss. Luffy grinned and said "Python!" his fist changed direction in the air several times and hit Viper in the side of one of his heads, sending him flying into the side of the crater.

Viper flew out of the crater and bit down on a rumble ball. He grew to 50 meters and towered over Luffy, he opened his mouth and a white light started forming in his mouth while wind surrounded it. Smoker's eyes widened and he said "We need to leave! Now!" the spectators all nodded and Nami summoned a giant cloud, everyone got on and they shot to the sky, watching from above.

Luffy got serious and blew into his arm, making It bigger and bigger until it was the size of Viper's head. He compressed his fist into his arm, and Viper bit down before opening his mouth and shooting a giant tremor-wind blast. Luffy punched at the same time.

"Snake King.."

"Gum-Gum..."

Their attacks collided midway between the duo.

"KING KONG GUN!"

"GURASENGAN!"

Luffy and Viper roared and the ground around them started to split and crack as the crater got wider and wider. Luffy growled and yelled, forcing his fist through the wind-tremor ball, and a huge shock wave spread out blowing away anything near them.

Luffy pushed and his fist popped the ball before shooting through and smashing into Viper's face, sending him flying like a missile into a mountain and reverting back to his human form, unconscious. Luffy reverted back and gasped for air, he took a deep breath and smiled as he screamed "Were your family now! Got it?!" and collapsing to the ground.

Nami flew down and picked him up before flying over to Viper. They went to pick him up and noticed the smile on his face, as well as all the blood. Zoro chuckled and threw him on the cloud before the cloud flew back to where they were partying.

A few days later

Viper woke up, he had bandages all over his body. He got out of bed and walked to the deck, he saw Law, Kin'emon, and Momonosuke with the rest of the crew as he walked over and said "What's up!" Luffy laughed and said "Hey! You slept for 3 days!" Viper smiled wryly and said "I guess you won huh?" Luffy grinned and said "Yup! I kicked your ass!" Law said "Is that a good thing?!" Viper and Luffy both said "Yeah. Are you stupid?" Law felt a vein pop on his forehead as he grinded his teeth. The duo looked at each other and laughed.

Robin said "I'm gonna go take a shower." Momonosuke followed after her. Viper grabbed his collar and sneered "Where do you think you're going kid?" Nami said "Stop bullying him!" Viper ignored her and stared at Momonosuke and his eyes turned to slits as he said "You're old enough to shower on your own. Understand?" Momonosuke nodded his head and sat back down, terrified. Viper, Sanji, Brook, and Kin'emon laughed and glared at him, he shivered and quietly sat there.

Law said "Alright, here's the plan. We're going to trade Caesar to Doflamingo in a few days on the Green bit. A group will infiltrate Dressrosa undercover and try and find the Smile factory and destroy it, Caesar's return will be a distraction." The group nodded and Kin'emon said "I have a comrade there named Kanjuro. We have to save him as well." The crew nodded and the Sunny slowly sailed towards Dressrosa.
