After Hancock regained her senses she realized what she was doing as she started blushing. She took off running as steam started coming from her head, in just a few seconds she was completely gone. Flare had a shit eating grin on his face as even he didn't predict what had just happened.

Flare: "I don't know what just happened but I loved every second of it. It seems hancock didn't fall in love with luffy but with me instead..... she is literally the best thing that ever happened to me. Let me see her stats."

Flare: "She's low admiral..... not bad but if she trains her haki more then she would be a powerhouse. She's also close to an awakening.... I wonder how her awakening will work?"

Flare walked outside and took out his 8 black wings as he took off into the air. Elder Nyon who saw this was surprised as she didn't think he had other abilities besides the ones stated in the newspaper. As nyon was wondering about his wings, flare flew towards the shore as he landed on a rock. He wanted to try out his waterbending for the first time so he closed his eyes as he felt the water around. Soon he raised his hand as a huge wave of water suddenly raised into the air as if commanded to do so. Flare smirked as this would be his ultimate weapon in a world where its mostly water, he could take out entire fleets if he reaches Advanced level.

Flare: "This is gonna come in handy, this might be the trickiest thing to deal with especially since it's a natural counter to devil fruits. Even if someone has no devil fruit hen I can still control the water to defeat them so I still end up winning. Maybe I can even blood bend when I reach a certain level."

Flare: "I'll just spend my time here until my fight with rayleigh, I'm confident in my skills right now so I'll just continue training my waterbending skills."

Flare spent 2 days training his waterbending and now he could successfully turn water into ice. It would take a lot of concentration and about 5 seconds to fully transform the water into ice but it was a start. He used shadow clones to speed up the process as usual as he also bought gravity weights from astaroth to put physical stress on his body. His healing made his muscles heal after being destroyed by the weights so his body was slowly improving but it was a little painful. He was currently wearing 15x the normal gravity which caused him to break the ground just by walking.

Flare: "So 2 days is up, time to find rayleigh. I wonder if he remembered our deal."

Flare opened his wings and took to the sky. He used his observation haki and easily found rayleigh who was in the arena. He was talking to Hancock, luffy, ace and marco. Hancock's sisters and elder nyon were also there. He flew towards them as luffy saw him approaching first.

Luffy: "Hey guys its flare!"

Ace: "Huh? Those wings are different from the ones he used last time."

Marco: "8 Black wings? They look like the wings of a bird."

Elder Nyon: "I saw those wings last time."

Flare landed beside them as he looked at everyone.

Flare: "So rayleigh you ready for our fight?"

Rayleigh: "I am but, quick question are those wings your devil fruit?"

Flare: "No, I can use these even without my devil fruit."

Rayleigh: "So those wings are biological.... which means you're not fully human."

Flare: "Correct, I'm half human- half Lunarian."

Rayleigh: "Lunarian? I read a book about them a long time ago but it said they were extinct."

Flare: "Well almost, I'm here aren't I?"

Rayleigh: "Hahahaha, I guess so kid."

Marco: "So he's part of some ancient race..... that's cool-yo."

Ace: "So does it have any other powers other than wings?"

Flare: "Yea, I'm in my normal mode right now, I have another mode called tank mode where a flame appears at the back of my neck. In that mode my defense increases massively but I'm way slower than my normal form. I'm also naturally good with fire attack even without my devil fruit.... my devil fruit just enhances my normal ability with fire."

Luffy: "Whoa, that's so cool. My cook also uses fire to fight, maybe you can meet my crew when I'm gonna meet them."

Flare: "Sure, after the fight I'm gonna leave you in the hands of rayleigh while I go gather my own crew. I need my own crew to have my own adventure, maybe we can have an alliance."

Luffy: "Sure! Maybe you can even teach me some cool moves."

Flare: "Haa sure luffy, rayleigh it's time."

Flare jumped down into the arena followed by rayleigh as they landed in front of each other. They looked at each other with rayleigh slowly drawing his sword. Flare looked at rayleigh as he pulled ACE out of his inventory which slightly shocked rayleigh.

Rayleigh: "So you even have his sword, I wonder how good you can wield it?"

Flare: "I can do my thing."

Flare: 'Let me see his stats.'

Flare: 'Holy Shit! Is every oldman this strong. First Whitebeard, then Garp and now Rayleigh.'

Flare knew he had no chance against Rayleigh in his base form but he decided to not use any devil fruit and just stuck to his sword skills, his haki and hassoken. Without wasting anymore time he flew towards rayleigh while infusing advanced armament haki into ACE along with hassoken. Rayleigh didn't decide to go easy so he pulled his sword back and infused not only ryou, but advanced conquerors as well. When he swung his sword, his sword clashed with ACE but instead of it clashing, flare felt a massive impact his his chest which caused him to fly back hitting a wall. (Kinda like when Oden fought Roger for the first time but got one shot.)

This was the first time that he ever got hit with it and it felt like garp hitting him but a but less painful but still it did a different type of damage to him. Garp's haki fist broke bones and tore muscle but Rayleigh's advanced conquerors destroyed blood vessels and even damaged organs as well. They were both dangerous and had their own strengths.

Everyone was shocked as they barely even saw it properly, but before they could say anything a hand came out of the rubble. Flare slowly pulled himself from the rubble as he looked at rayleigh.

Flare: "That hurt, I promised I wouldn't use my devil fruit for this but you're not making it easy for me."

Rayleigh: "Why won't you use your devil fruit?"

Flare: "Because I want to develop my haki, I want to at least be able to fight the strongest people alive without relying on my devil fruit."

Rayleigh: "Hahahaha that's smart, but I won't be taking it easy on you. You will only show results after going though the hardships of battle."

Flare: "I thought as much, well let's try this again."

Flare took out his excalibur as well. He trained more with 2 swords so he felt this was better for him, he also felt that excalibur actually was easier to flow his haki through..... even easier that ACE. He imbued both blade with his haki causing them to turn black. A massive pressure suddenly poured from flare as he looked at rayleigh who was looking on with a smile. A golden aura suddenly started manifesting around flare as he took towards rayleigh. Rayleigh responded as well as a silver aura covered him as he ran and met flare's attack. They suddenly became golden and silver blurs shooting across the arena and even in the air. Everyone watching could barely keep up as their collisions created shockwaves around the island.

Flare: "This feeling... is this how it feels to let loose. No devil fruits, no other ability besides haki and swords."

Rayleigh: "Hahahaha I see you're starting to get it but you need some more time."

Rayleigh shot towards him and started attacking him. He started countering but it wasn't working as Rayleigh started pushing him back. Rayleigh kicked him in the chest which sent him crashing to the ground but he quickly flipped and shot towards Rayleigh. He kicked towards rayleigh but rayleigh blocked him and instead kicked him back into the ground where a massive crater was formed.

Flare jumped out of the hole and looked at rayleigh who was standing on a rock. Flare then smiled as he undid his gravity weights. As he did so he felt his body become much lighter and he could even move faster as well. He was low admiral level previously with the weights but he was now high admiral without it.

Flare: "Round 2 oldman."

Rayleigh: "You still have some fight left ehhh? Well you are restricting yourself so I can't expect you to go all out."

Flare sped towards rayleigh again but this time trying to infuse conquerors into his attacks, which still wasn't working, he started attacking rayleigh but he managed to block all of it. Rayleigh swung his sword at flare expecting him to be flung away but was slightly surprised when flare didn't move.

Rayleigh: "So you're starting to fully utilize ryou but you still need to refine your conquerors, you still have more to go."

Flare didn't respond but instead hit rayleigh with a punch that sent him back slightly. He turned his head to see flare looking at him with a wide smile. Flare then punched rayleigh in the chest with a surprise punch. This sent rayleigh back even more but he quickly regained his footing, he smirked as he was surrounded by a silver aura once again. Flare did the same as they rushed towards each other.

The other watching were stunned to see Flare keeping up with rayleigh as he wasn't using his devil fruit, rayleigh wasn't going all out but he was using high level yonko attacks. There was a golden blur clashing with a silver one that was constantly disappearing and reappearing. Every clash sent shockwaves that destroyed the immediate surrounding and caused minor earthquakes around the island. Luffy and ace could barely see them fighting but Hancock and marco were keeping up and even they too were shocked..... Flare was keeping up with the right hand of the pirate king.

Luffy: "Whoa! Even without his cool devil fruit powers he's awesome."

Hancock: "Well he is my captain so of course he's strong."

Ace: "Wait....captain? You joined his crew? How did he get a warlord and the world's most beautiful woman on his crew?"

Hancock: "He has something that no one else has..... my heart."

Ace looked at her with a complicated face. He was slightly jealous of flare but didn't think about it much as he turned towards the fight. He was in awe when he saw them moving far faster than he could keep up.

After about 5 minutes of constant fighting against rayleigh flare started to feel different. He felt his conquerors haki transform from a mist into a liquid like state and slowly he began to flow it while infusing his haki. Rayleigh noticed this as he was even more shocked than before.

Rayleigh: 'He learnt conquerors coating after a spar? This kid is a monster.'

As they clashed again, this time the result was different. Instead of flare taking damage and healing the damage, flare felt a different feeling as he swung his 2 swords towards rayleigh as rayleigh responded as well. Their weapons approached each other as a massive explosion occurred from their collision. Their swords clashed yet they weren't touching, slowly the sky started to divide as the clouds started to part. Everyone saw this as their eyes widened even further than before.

Luffy: "A-Amazing, it's just like that time at marineford."

Marco: "Just like pops-yo."

Hancock: "I expected nothing less of my captain."

They looked on as flare and rayleigh parted as they both jumped back. They began to stare at each other before they suddenly burst out laughing.

Rayleigh: "You're amazing kid, even roger wasn't this strong at your age. You even learnt an advanced technique that took me decades to grasp in a short spar."

Flare: "Well I'm different from other guys."

Flare: 'Let me see my stats astaroth.'
