Loguetown , Ahoy!!

2 Month Later

"It's pretty amazing how I didn't catch scurvy from being at sea for so long, I should be reaching Loguetown very soon."

The news of Rogers capture was news around the world, Of course he surrendered himself but the world government won't tell you that.

About a month after setting at sea I received this news via a news bird ,which seem to get to all sorts of people no matter where they were . " I guess that's the one piece Internet for you" I chuckled.

While it did sadden me to know that Roger ,the world's greatest pirate who managed to achieve the title of 'Pirate King' would perish. I knew that Roger was diagnosed with a incurable disease and would die anyway , so it was better him starting the 'Era of Pirates' .

Wandering off my thoughts of Roger. I looked back to my 2 months at sea sure to say it wasn't a smooth ride but that not fun now ain't it ? There was a lot of battles with other pirates who deemed me easy pickings , and these pirates were not so nice unlike Luffy's . Not to mention the rising presence of marine ships in the vicinity especially following the news of Roger's capture , so I deemed it my duty to lessen the number of marine ships and last I heard my bounty now accounted for more than 50 million Belli .

Occasionally peacefully passing by the usual merchant vessels stacked with cargo and Bellies and encountering the unpredictable and everchanging climate of the open sea I was starting to enjoy my new seafaring lonesome life.

I also made time to train myself more in terms of Haki ,since I would be entering the Grandline, following my visit to Loguetown after witnessing a historical moment.

And thanks to my daily training I exceptionally improved my Armament Haki which I was lacking and improved myself just as much in the Marine's six powers ,leading to a huge increase of speed.

Several days passed by as I navigated myself with my poor ,but improving skills. It was only when I saw the Polestar Islands did I breath a sigh of relief knowing that I had not gone off course. And was reaching my destination every passing second.

But , It also gave rise to new problems as the Island would be heavily guarded by Marine presence since many outlaws and pirates would gather to witness or raise havoc in this event.

Just as I was about to enter the Marines view , I jumped overboard putting my boat inside the Inventory as I felt my devil fruit powers fading away . I dived into the deep waters praying to not draw a sea kings attention while being grateful for my Half Fishman Bloodline.

Nearing the docks . I was indeed correct about an heavy marine presence as I could see many patrols circling the streets and docks. Making my way over to a less crowded place I quickly swam ashore dried myself with a burst of flames and covered myself with a robe and wide brimmed conical hat.

As I trudged along the streets ,there were mixed reactions of the impending event while some mourned in drunk stupor and tears there were others rejoicing the death of an criminal while there was another group neither sad nor happy just happy to go about there own business.

Passing my way avoiding the common patrols and navigating myself along the ever-winding pathways of Loguetown ,I arrived at the town square where a huge raised platform 50 feet high was slowly being built up towards the sky.

Walking myself back, I trudged into a dark backalley where a voice interrupted

"It's very easy to get lost here is that not right ?" A man with an unkempt beard dressed in dirty clothes armed with an spiked club said in a sarcastic tone.

"BOYS!!" he called out sharply followed by 4 other people appearing from the other side.

"This damned local low life " I swore " Do you even know who I am ?" I barked out letting my hood fall of uncovering my purplish streaks of hair grinning wildly like a maniac.

"Why should I eve- YOUU!!"

"Of course , It's me !" I laughed as I ran forward decapitating the four poor souls in front of me with one single swipe of my cutlass.

"It's time I stretched myself " I spoke as I turned around to face the last of them .

"I'm sorry PLEASE NOO-"

BAANG a single shot resounded as a body fell to the hard paves floor splashing blood on the surrounding walls ,as more seeped to the ground making a puddle.

"What's going on there?" I heard as the rustling of many footsteps followed. Quickly, sheathing my gun and sword I Jumped up above onto a rooftop hiding myself effectively as I peaked down below. It seemed a passing Marine patrol overheard my gunshot.

"The heck is this , we're gonna have to report this to the Captain!!"

"One clean swipe , Commander! , all 4 of them !"

"This one's been shot through the head , look at all these brains" a lower officer said.

"Send someone to the base and inform them of this, the Captain said we cant have any loose ends with the execution coming up"

"Looks like I fucked up once again , why is it that all these low life think I'm easy picking!!" I hissed in anger as I sneaked away from the scene.

Now those marine bastards are going to be alert!

"Lets find out when's the execution"

The Next Day....

After my encounter last night I found a Inn in which I paid for a room for 1 week.

Yes, 1 whole fucking week!

No training , No killing , No wandering around at night all because it might attract the marines attention and I didn't want to face a vice admiral just yet.

It was 1 week to the execution where I had to hole up in this Inn and wait. "At least they have good booze , that's for sure !" I said sitting in my room sipping on a bottle of rum.

" A whole week of drinks !!"

1 Week Later

It was the day of history !!!

The shouting mob filled the already packed streets as I blended into the impenetreble mob,I was sure there were more powerful figures here and it was only a matter of time since I ran into one.

The mob moved slowly towards the town square as marines tried to keep order yet no result.

I watched in anxiety and excite as the man who had it all wealth,power and riches made his way p the platform. The crowd yelled in suspense.

I noticed many prominent figures looking at the event such as Dark King Rayleigh , Shakuyaku, Captain Buggy , Crocodile and lastly 'Hawk Eyes' Dracule Mihawk who in turn glanced back at me in a emotionless manner unlike Rayleigh who gave me a smile of sorrow and happiness.

"You want my teasure!!! I left it at that place find it !!! THE ONE PIECE!!!" Roger yelled as the crowd erupted in shouts of response as the the executioners did there job.

Marines rushed forward to intercept the boiling mob facing a crushing onslaught as I jumped from rooftop to rooftop taking advantage of unexpected ensuing chaos using it to escape the trap of the marines along with other intelligent and opportunistic pirates following my trail.

The new age has BEGUN!! was my final and only thoughts as I plunged into the sea swimming away into the open waters leaving behind a festival of chaos ,making my way beyond the sight of presence before summoning my boat and climbing on .

I set course towards every pirates dream of crossing as I dried my soaked self .

The Grandline awaits!!!....
