Ch-28 Zoro challenges again.

As Li Fan watched Medusa beneath the desk lamp, he climbed out of bed, approached her, and gently placed the script he was holding on the desk.

"Rider, can I ask you for a favor?"

Medusa raised her head and gazed at Li Fan silently.

Li Fan scratched his head and offered a smile, "You know, Rider, I have a plan to turn this script into a movie. I was wondering if you'd be willing to play one of the characters. What do you think?"

Upon hearing this, Medusa picked up the script and skimmed through it briefly.

"Li Fan, which character are you thinking of for me?"

"Li Fan, which character would you like me to play?"

"You're on board!" Li Fan pulled a stool over and sat down beside Medusa. "I'd like you to take on the role of Kanae Kocho. She's an incredibly beautiful character."

Medusa quickly opened the script and found a section that described Kanae with her butterfly motif.

But when she read Kanae Kocho's character description, she furrowed her brow.

"Li Fan, do you think I'm the right fit for Kanae Kocho?"

Li Fan looked puzzled. "Why do you ask? With your abilities, mimicking Kanae Kocho's sword skills shouldn't be an issue. Your physical skills are impressive."

Medusa shook her head. "It's not about sword skills. It's just that the script portrays Kanae Kocho as a swordsman who frequently smiles."

"I... don't know how to smile."

"That's it," Li Fan said with a smile as he patted Medusa on the shoulder. "With more practice, you'll get the hang of it."

"Besides, Rider, when you smile, you'll undoubtedly look stunning."

Medusa let out a sigh and remarked, "Li Fan, there's no need to console me. How can someone like me look good when I smile?"

"If I hadn't matured yet, I might have been a better fit for playing Kocho Kanae."

"Absolutely not," Li Fan smiled. "In my opinion, Medusa, you are very beautiful. It has nothing to do with whether you are big or small."

"I would even say that your larger physique adds to your charm."

"Come on, Medusa, give me a smile. I believe you can do it, and your smile will be lovely."

Medusa raised her head a bit and said, "Those are kind words and you called me beautiful. If that's what you wish as my master, then I'll smile for you."

"No, this is not an order, Medusa, it's a request. If you truly feel uncomfortable, you can decline, and I'll figure out another solution for the actor issue."

Li Fan considers Medusa his partner, and he wouldn't want to force her into something she doesn't want to do.

Having said that, Li Fan withdrew his hand from Medusa's shoulder, stood up, and began to walk back toward the bed.

But as he turned around, a warm hand grasped his palm.

"Rider?"

"Never mind, I'll give it my best shot." Medusa, not wanting to see disappointment in Li Fan's eyes, took a deep breath and offered a smile, her first one.

"So lovely..." Li Fan couldn't help but comment as he gazed at Medusa's smile.

"Medusa, that's perfect. What a beautiful smile."

"I'm confident that you can bring the character of Kocho Kanae to life."

"Even if your smile seems a bit forced right now, with practice, it will definitely improve."

Li Fan held Medusa's hand tightly with both hands, his excitement evident.

"I really can't resist you, Li Fan."

"I know, and I'll make an effort."

Although the night was long, Li Fan didn't feel bored as he continued to admire Medusa's smile.

The following day, Li Fan gathered the main actors involved in the filming of the [fate/stay night] script.

Li Fan believed it was necessary to inform these actors about the new script and give them the opportunity to continue if they were interested.

However, before Li Fan could begin, Zoro approached him.

"Hey, Li Fan, now that the movie is over, it's time for you to fulfill your promise to me," Zoro said, his hand gripping the long knife at his waist.

Seeing Zoro's actions, Li Fan immediately understood his intention.

"Indeed, I did say that if you helped me make a movie, I'd agree to a competition."

"Li Fan, do you want me to assist you in dealing with him?" Medusa inquired, sensing Zoro's determination, standing next to Li Fan.

"No need," Li Fan shook his head slightly. "After all, it's a promise I made to him."

"Besides, I don't believe I'll lose either."
