Chapter 424 Ever Young

Ben's point of view…..

"Jeff is here, Ben and he says he wants ice cream. Please can you come and take him to get ice cream."

The mind linm came to me. It was from Nora. I was coming back from Dad's place because he had asked to see me for a little discussion and we just finished not long ago.

He had given me a parcel I am to give to Abigail. I had wondered why he gave to me when he will still come for the small party we are putting up for Abigail, I did not ask him why, I only wondered. Dad is not the talking type. He is a man of a few words.

I smiled to myself. I can't really believe that Abigail would be Fulfilling a long prophesied destiny. I have not been easy on her and I know that but I couldn't help it because I felt she needed the training. I believe so much in her than her mom does.

I drove past an ice cream van and a thought came across my mind.

I don't think I will have Jeff's strength now so getting the ice cream will save me a lot of strength.

I stopped and purchased two tons of ice cream and thanked the seller then drove off, problem solved.

Theophilus's point of view….

Gracie was considerate enough to offer her blood to me as a goodbye offer. It was better than nothing. The offer of her blood served as solidarity to me. I could manage it, I had thought and that's why I accepted it.

A whole lot that I can't explain happened when I drank her blood. To me, I would say I had the best meal of the day. She was sad and I know but as she said, it is better I forget about her and marry my bride.

I appeared in my room and met Lily staring at her picture.

"I have kind of met this lady before"

She said without raising her head up. She sensed my presence already.

"When I saw her today, I sensed this familiarity. It's like I had known her my whole life"

She further said.

"I guess you met her in your past life"

I simply said, that was the only explanation I could think of.

"You think so?. She is purely human and a witch from what mom told me, can't reincarnate as a human. A witch will always be a witch"

I stared at her as I didn't have anything to say about it, she was right about the whole reincarnation thing so she might just be hallucinating. She feels she has met Gracie which might just be her imagination.

Lily stood up and left without a word.

Lily's point of view…..

When I got to the lady's place. I felt like I knew her and because she was not friendly, I could not stay back a bit to find out who she actually is, so when I got back to The South, I had to continue looking at her picture to see if I could tell where and when I had known her from. I would not say it's in my past life because she is not a witch.

Theophilus returned and I told him about what I am feeling. He was clueless because it was written over him and when I saw I could not get the answer I was looking for so I left his room.

I was strolling down the corridor like it was where I lived my whole life. Well,I have been here a couple of times and I know almost every wall of this mansion.

I came across the large corridor where the portraits of the past Lordresses and Lords hanged. The only portraits I could remember is that of Lord Osmos and his Lordress, Lord Xaxes and his Lordress, the rest before Lord Osmos I could not tell.

There is no doubt that My nephew looked like his grandfather, Lord Osmos. The Lordress was smiling as she rested her hands on Lord Osmos shoulders while Lord Osmos posed for whoever  that was drawing them. The portrait of lord Osmos and his queen was drawn by someone who had mastered the act of drawing about twenty decades ago and Aunt Nora later redesigned it. They looked ever Young.

I noticed something about witches. We don't grow past the look of twenty five years and must say it's an edge we have over humans. We don't grow old.

I chuckled and  stared at the Lordress as my smile dropped and got replaced with a frown when the picture of the Lordress became clearer. No way was it going to be true, my eyes must be decieving me.
