"She is pregnant and we are keeping the baby." Lucas answered him. After that he moved his attention back to his file. To be honest he had expected such a reaction from Mark.

"But didn't you guys used protection." Mark questioned him. It's the first time his boss has got a girl pregnant and he even agreed to keep the child.

"If we used that, will she be pregnant now?" Lucas answered him. What is wrong with Mark today? Did the news damage his thinking abilities and that's why he is asking dumb questions one after another.

"So you want to keep the child?" Mark asked him. His boss simply nodded as a yes. "Have you guys thought it through? It's not easy as it seems to be."

"We have thought it over and decided to keep this child. There are no objections till now." Lucas said to him.

"But did she know about you?" Mark once again asked him a question, which caught Lucas off guard. This question was not a dumb one."I still haven't told her anything about me. I will tell her when the time is right. She don't need to know now, as long as I'm here to protect her and our children."

"Children? Are you having twins or more triplets? Boss you are really something. Just did it unprotected once and already got a girl pregnant." Mark praised him.

"By children, I meant Rachel and the baby in her belly." Lucas explained him. The thought of having twins or triplets is really fascinating for him but they already confirmed it at the hospital. It was only a little baby.

Mark studied him for a moment before nodding. "You'll figure it out, man. You're not the type to run from responsibility. And from what I've seen, you care about Bella and Rachel. That's a good start."

Lucas met Mark's gaze, appreciating the honesty. "Thanks. I'll need someone to keep me grounded through all this."

"You've got me," Mark said with a smirk. "And for the record, congratulations. Life's about to get a lot more interesting for you."

"Thats what I'm worried about. Their safety. You have to ensure the best security for them but never let them know that you are protecting them. I giving you the responsibility to keep them safe." Lucas said seriously to which Mark nodded.

"I will ask our most trusted men to follow them everywhere and keep them safe." Mark replied to his boss.

It's been already a week of navigating their new reality with the pregnancy, Lucas decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level. He knew Bella had reservations, but they had already come so far together.

He felt it was important for her to meet his family since they already decided to marry. In this world the one he care the most about is his family. He wanted them to be a part of this promise too, which he made to Bella.

He sat with her one evening after dinner, his eyes serious yet kind. "I think it's time you met my family," he said, his voice steady but full of intent.

She hesitated, glancing at Rachel playing quietly in the next room. "Are you sure? It's all happening so fast…"

He smiled gently. "I'm sure. You're not just a part of my life now.....you're part of my future. And that means my family."

She looked at him, her heart racing. This was a big step, but she knew he was right. She bit her lip, her fingers fidgeting with the edge of her sweater. "Lucas, are you sure? I mean... What if they don't...."

"They will," he interrupted gently, his hand covering hers to still her nervous movements. "They'll love you. But I think it'll be easier if you know a little about them first."

She hesitated but nodded. "Okay. Tell me about them."
