Why don't you marry my mumma

She pouted and uttered a small ok. I also waited for the approval before digging in. The moment I tasted the salmon, I felt heaven. I tasted the other ones too and I realised she definitely got a talent in cooking.

Lucas: Tell me...are you a chef?

Bella: I'm not a professional chef. But I learnt it when I worked in a hotel.

Lucas: You worked in a hotel too?

Bella: I did when I was 19. The chef there was very nice. He taught me how to make some simple dishes in free time.

I nodded. She worked in her late teens while she also studied. Her life was tough.

In the Middle of all this, the little girl kept eating her food giving a little attention to our talks. But then she looked at me and asked.

Rachel: Mr. Handsome why don't you marry my mumma. Then you can eat this tasty food daily.

She keep looking at me while I turned to look at Bella, who looked back at me. Her mouth filled with food and eyes filled with confusion.

She looked cute...no focus Lucas. Now I guess this is awkward. This little girl. Bella broke the eye contact and glared at Rachel, who pouted cutely.

Rachel: I just want him as my daddy. He liked my mumma's food also. He is handsome too..

Yes I'm but that doesn't mean that she needs to marry me. I seriously don't know how to get out of this situation. So I looked expectantly at Bella.

She received my signal and thought for a while before answering her.

Bella: Rachel you are still small baby right? Let mumma make such big decisions. You only focus on your food... remember we should not talk while eating.

She gloomily nodded. Does this little bunny really want me to be her dad? No I guess she only want a handsome and perfect father( I'm not self praising myself here...it is what everyone else call me).

Well she has only known me for a week anyway.We then ate our remaining meal in silence.

Although I keep praising Bella in between, she only nodded in approval. Soon we finished our dinner and she took the empty dishes back to the kitchen.

I was going to leave when Bella arrived to bid me goodbye. But like a cute kitten, Rachel wrapped her hands around my legs and looked up from there with puppy eyes.

Okay...this is her ultimate weapon. She always does this when she wants something.

Rachel: Mr. Handsome,can you please stay. We can play with my toys.

Lucas: Baby I need to do some office work. I will come to play some other time. Bella tell her....

Bella: Oh..yes... princess he needs to do some important work. He can come again later. Let him go.

Rachel: No I don't want to let you go. If you want to leave...you need to marry my mumma. If you don't want to marry mumma, then you need to play with me.
