Chapter 4 - New world

Peter finds himself deep in a forest where he scans his surroundings, familiarizing himself. He had chosen a world where he could test himself and fight some creature to get more battle experience. It is not like he needs it when his power already made him virtually invincible and was simply doing it out of entertainment. Not to mention The Mother Box made him essentially a New God.

He simply found it refreshing to move around and enjoyed every moment rather than speedrun. Peter could easily do whatever he wanted but decided to hold back unless he wanted something.

[ I could sense creature coming there way here. ] Venom said and soon a humanoid creature appeared that looked like golden cat-like eyes, razor sharp teeth and claws, muscular, elongated limbs and torsos, purple blood and brown, purple, gray or green skin. There were around 5 of them hungrily looking towards Peter.

"Oh, a lonely human. This is your unlucky day." They laughed while Peter remained calm, carefully observing them. The world that he had chosen to visit was Claymore, one of the first stories that he ever read and was surprised by its graphic imagery. A blend of Species movie and the Witcher story.

The creatures around him are known as Yoma, a human eating creature. There is a whole conspiracy but Peter didn't need to think about it as he thought it was going to be his first life and death fight.

'They don't seem to sense Venom or see the mother box.' Peter is glad that they won't be a problem if Cortana hovers around him while he is surprised that none could sense Venom as they should be able to notice her. He was also pleasantly surprised that he was able to understand them and thought that the mother box helped translate for him.

"Don't worry we're going to make it quick." One of the Yoma said then flinched when they saw him smirk vanishing from their spot and reappeared having sliced through all of them in an instant where Peter suited up. The four spider legs protruded from his back and held his sword. Venom controlled the spider legs while Peter used his blade to cut through his opponent.

"Wow, that was fun. Still needs some improvement but that can be done later." He said to himself looking at the dissected carcass of the Yoma and grabbed one of them before infecting them with his symbiote that doesn't have a mind and acted mindless. Venom is like the first weapon of Knull and better as Peter acquired a hivemind connected to those he affected.

The mixture of Yoma that can evolve into creatures known as Awakened Beings and Peter somewhat felt delighted, aiming to get an army for himself in the future and even gain the entire Klyntar in the future.

"This is a good experiment. For now, you can remain in this pocket dimension." He forms a portal towards a symbiote hivemind that he formed and the symbiotes went inside acting more like dolls as Peter killed their host.

"Now that's done, let's find even stronger ones. Oh right, Cortana, can you tell me the time difference between this world and my home-world?" Peter experimented to see if he imagined a world that would have different time dilation and let him explore without missing any much. He could have desired a world where time stopped for his home-world but decided against it because it was more fun this way.

{ A day here is an hour in your home-world and vice versa. } Cortana said while Peter nodded, giving him enough to enjoy his stay and change his clothes similar to the local. He sprouted wings and camouflaged himself where he enjoyed the strong wind and even more fresh air than his home-world since it was with no pollution.

He flapped his wings and flew with unbelievable speed where he was able to see the beautiful nature that he only saw in video and it was completely seeing it in person. He rapidly adapted and learned how to use his symbiote like another limb as he spread his senses and found something strong. Peter descended, turning the wing into a clock and walked his way to where the powerful enemy was.

What Peter found was a creature with a very slender build with light gray skin, green hair, and the typical golden eyes of Yoma. Blades grow from her back and from the end of her hair, and her elongated arms end in sharp claws. Her lower body is a long, turquoise serpentine.

"A human? What are you doing here?" Her voice was soft and alluring yet had a hidden sadistic undertone. Peter recognizes her as Ophelia the Blood soaked warrior, no.4. Claymore, a woman that had the power to combat against Yoma, is ranked from 47 being the weakest and 1 the strongest. They're power can be a double edge as the further they draw power the more risk they turn into an Awakened being, a creature no different than Yoma with unquenchable hunger for human flesh.

'So Claire should be with Irene then.' Peter thought himself guessing what timeline he arrived in. Meanwhile, Ophelia looked at him with curiosity sensing that he was human but her danger sense told her he was not a normal human.

"Or perhaps, you're a Yoma disguised as a human. Well I've been craving meat, something soft and tender like humans. But I can't do that since I'm not like you and I think you would be a perfect substitute." Her mind was gone and without a moment of hesitation swing her elongated arms at an unbelievable speed but Peter simply evaded the attack that was slower than his perception allows him to see.

"I was right that you're not human. I don't know how you suppressed your Yoma this well but it's now over." Ophelia didn't let Peter escape giving her best but was impressed that he was able to keep up and avoid her attack.

"I'm confident that I am human." Peter was formerly human and at the moment unsure if he is classified as Meta-human having his ability and powers.

"You're quite the comedian, Yoma. Being able to hide your Yoki this well means you're an Awakened being. If that is the case then I need to kill you now." She increased her speed and sliced through the forest while Peter simply dodge using his Spider sense.

"As expected of Awakened being, you are a bunch of cockroaches who refuse to get exterminated." Ophelia mutated even further where Peter had to adjust and was able to keep up thanks to his reflexes and spider sense.

They soon arrived in a nearby lake where Peter let himself push into the lake and let Ophelia see her reflection to realize she had become an Awakened.

The moment she roared in anger screaming how she simply wanted to kill those that murdered her brother and why did she have to become the same monster. Her heart filled with self hate and disgust that she became the very thing that she swore to eradicate in the face of the world.

Peter stood looming over the whipping figure of Ophelia, always taking pity for her and saw the young woman as a tragic person. Every Claymore is tragic and the one responsible for it are the people behind them.

"It's your fault! You were the reason why I want revenge and turn into this! You killed my brother!!" Ophelia looked at Peter fueled with anger and violently roared becoming even stronger and trying to attack Peter who vanished then sliced her arms to pieces shocking her from his unbelievable speed.

"Sorry for your loss but you shouldn't blame me or anyone else. Also can you stop attacking me? I don't even know what the hell is an Awakened being, much less what you are but can we take a moment and talk?" Peter was obviously lying but decided to strike a conversation to calm her down. Is there a word about letting them know this from another world? Not really.

He could care less about exposing it and can solve any problem if he wishes. Ophelia looked at him in confusion and saw him appear black and red suit with spider legs and sword in his hand. This made her even angrier as if he was mocking her seeing that no normal human would have spider legs behind their back!

"You're lying! Someone like you should be an Awakened being and not me!!" Ophelia roared while Peter sighed then decided to knock her out and once it was done infected her with some symbiote changing her biology slowly reverting her into her human form that appeared to be young woman with pale, silvery blond hair, which she wears in a long and tight braid. Her hairline is a strong widow's peak. Like most Claymores, she possesses silver eyes and gives her normal clothes.

[ Want me to removed her weakness and become stronger? ]

Venom asks, seeing there are many flaws in her body and doesn't have balance, having constant conflict with her body and the Yoma part.

'Sure, and heal her stigmata.'

Peter knew that every claymore sacrificed their chances in becoming a mother and some were either forced or brainwashed into becoming a claymore. The truth about Yoma was a complete lie and the organization behind claymore are the reason why they are Yoma roaming around.

As to why they do it is simply because they need weapons against their own enemy as they came from another continent. As for what stigmata is, it is a wound in their body that cannot be healed despite their regeneration preventing them from becoming mothers like how Natasha had her ovaries removed.

[ Done, do you plan on breeding with her? ]

Venom was eager to expand her beloved family and Peter always wanted to have a family of his own but never even got the chance.

'Depends but we will see if she has calmed down.' He then looked at the sleeping Ophelia and carried her in a bridal way then turned his cloak then formed a portal that led them to the nearest village. He stepped forward and continued walking until he spotted the village that surprised the people but he simply ignored them trying to find an inn.

"Welcome, friend." He entered the inn where he found an old man and realized he was in the village where Claire met an Abyssal one for the first time. They are former number 1 claymore who have awakened, granting them immense power.

'This makes things easier I guess.' Peter thought to himself, decided to fight the Abyssal one and helped Claire in the process. He couldn't simply ignore them now and gladly helped. It is not like his family is going to be at least in what he is about to do seeing they are far away in another dimension.

"Yes, a room for two but forgive me I don't have any money instead have this. I believe it would fetch a bit of money." He open portal in his pocket and handed some jewelry that surprised the innkeeper.

"This…this is too much. Jewelry like this is worth more than my inn has to offer." He tried to hand it back but Peter stopped him.

"Keep it. Just give us a room." Peter said and the innkeeper reluctantly accepted as he handed a key to him leading him to his room that had two beds. After being left alone, he quickly tucked Ophelia to bed before taking a seat in the other bed.

"Well, guess I'll take a nap for now. Can you wake me up when she starts to wake up?" He yawned out of habit even though he's never going to get tired with Venom and Cortana by his side.

{ It will be done }

[ Sure thing, Darling. ]

Peter nodded then laid on the bed that was frankly uncomfortable compared to his usual bed. He didn't think too much of it and drifted off to take a small nap.
