Chapter 2

It had been over an hour since Henko had joined John. He was going over his day and a fight he got into with his son. Henko listened to everything and only spoke out on some of the issues giving out suggestions. The man had bought several drinks and Henko knew the man was getting close to being drunk.

"Hey Mama." John spoke out. Henko looked at the man. "Why don't you become my wife?" Henko had to stop what he was drinking and looked at the man. Even though he was drunk he still showed seriousness on his face. Henko put down his drink and looked at John.

"I am very flattered for your serious confession, but I am sorry. I am not looking for a mate at this time." John stared into Henko's eyes for several moments before falling backwards on the couch and letting out a huge sigh.

"You are just too much mama." John glanced over to Henko. "But I'm not going to give up on you, you hear."

"I don't know if I should be happy or not." Henko spoke out jokingly. However, on the inside, he really wished the man would give up. Even though the man was banking and was not bad looking, he was still someone he never thought he would be with. Henko took his drink and began sipping on it.

It was another successful night. John took a while before he left and Henko was able to do other things to make sure that the bar was running smoothly. The girls were all exhausted by the end of their shifts and sat down drinking some water to help sober them up a bit.

"So, girls, this was another successful day at work. Everyone made some good money and I know some of you were even able to get new clients. Keep up the good work, and this bar will keep running smoothly." Everyone started to cheer. "Girls, have a wonderful night now." Henko said his goodbyes to the girls as he closed and locked the doors.

Henko was extremely exhausted from the long night he had worked. He couldn't wait till he was able to get home and relax. The young man only lived about four and half blocks away from the bar. Since it was so close, Henko would just walk to work and home. It was good exercise and it helped for parking space as well. There were not much places to park in the area. So Henko would rather give up his spot for a car, for a customer. If he really wanted to, he could take a taxi or a bus. However, Henko found that walking home was the best. One thing he had to do first was pick up some food so he could make something to eat for today. Henko very rarely would be out of drag. He would always wear the clothes even outside the bar and his home.

He walked over to the closet convenience store that was open 24/7. He bought some meat, bread, and some canned foods. Henko paid for the food and walked out of the store. Only a couple more blocks and he would be home. Henko took in a yawn when turning the corner hitting something soft. It makes the young man lose his balance and fall hard on his behind. Henko opened his mouth to yell at whoever bumped into him, but kept his mouth shut when he saw who it was. He had never seen the man before, but the aura around the man gave off something of danger. The man had short spiked up brown hair and piercing blue eyes and had a goatee. Henko couldn't clearly tell, but it looked as if the man was over six foot. Two shadows appeared behind the man, making Henko's eyes wonder to each side of the middle man. The other two men carried the same aura. Giving a quick glance at the other two men, he noticed one had a scar down the side of his eye. They defiantly spelled out trouble.

"Are you okay miss?" The man finally spoke out. He reached a hand down to Henko who hesitantly took it. He helped Henko up onto his feet.

"I'm okay. I wasn't really watching were I was going. I'm sorry." Henko bowed down.

"No need to bow, what are you Japanese or something?" The man asked.

"At least she has some manners." One of the men snickered. Henko was getting irritated by their mocking but kept it to himself.

"Is the food alright?" Henko looked at the bag in his hand. He opened it to check on the bread which was a bit squished, but it was still okay. "It's fine." Henko smiled to the man.

"That's good, just watch where you are going and make sure you get home safe." The man nodded his head a bit and began to walk forward, the two men followed behind him. Henko felt his heart skip a beat. He didn't know why, but that man even though looked scary, was actually kind of nice and even handsome. Henko shook his head. First, he needed to get home and make some food, take off the makeup and clothes. Taking one more glance at the men that passed him, Henko turned and made his way to his apartment.
