The Brother. [9]

The rusting iron door of the warehouse was flung open as one of the rough-looking workers wearing blue overalls with a white vest was spear-kicked into it as he landed on the dirt floor with a loud thud.

Sun-Jae and Dae-Bom slowly retreated into the warehouse to the overwhelming group of attackers who were all armed while the both of them had somehow coincidentally forgotten their revolvers.

'Of all the times I had to be forgetful! F**k!' Dae-Bom yelled internally as he dodged a downward swing of a metal aimed at his head as he followed up with a quick upper-cut then sidestepping the sashimi that almost disembowelled him as he threw a straight hook at the attackers face.

So far, he had only sustained bruises from the metal pipe attacks on his arms and ribs which did not hinder him much as he quickly reversed deeper into the warehouse with dusty old cars placed disorderly.

He quickly snuck a glance at Sun-Jae before focusing to his attackers briefly noting that he was not doing so well as he had cuts and bruises all over him, starting from the small horizon cut above his eyebrows that leaked blood into his left eye and clouded half of his vision, along with the corner of lip busted from the punch he received earlier, down the slight deep leaking slash on his forearm and another one on the back of his left hand.

Sun-Jae was fighting against six of the attackers with three of them holding knives and the other three with metal pipes and thick wooden pieces of broken off furniture.

His style attacks were accurate and effective but also caused him to be injured as they focused on one versus one and not one versus six, so his attacks left gaps that the attackers exploited without mercy as they dealt a metal pipe strike on his forehead that was aimed at his temple.

He staggered back in a daze as his momentary stun was taken advantage off as one the attackers thrusted their sharp sashimi knife at his heart.

The attack was about to land when Dae-Bom had appeared and kicked the wrist of the attacker up which diverted the knife and threw a left hook that struck the attacker and knocked him unconscious, grabbing the fallen knife and threatening the rest.

Dae-Bom stood in front of Sun-Jae as they slowly backed away to avoid the workers who had now regrouped.

"Hey, are you okay?" Dae-Bom asked out of breath as he looked at Sun-Jae who had regained his stability and raised his fists.

"Yes." Sun-jae replied in a deep grunt as he was also out of breath.

The rough-looking workers had also lost some steam but did not compare to the two of them who had sweat and blood visibly dripping down their foreheads as they were grunting and panting out of exhaustion.

The bald man who had his nose broken by Sun-Jae walked to the front of the group and took a sashimi knife from one of the workers and pointed it at them.

"I'm going to kill the both of you f**king bastards!" He swore with pure rage in his eyes.

Sun-Jae and Dae-Bom looked at him and then behind him as they smiled, dropping their hands.

"What? What's f**king funny?!" The bald man yelled, before a loud gunshot rang throughout the warehouse frightening the workers.

They turned around and saw a dozen police standing with their revolvers pointed at the workers as more police were entering.

Kang In-Hyuk who had fired a warning shot at the roof aimed his gun at the workers as he shouted. "Drop your weapons!"

The rough-looking workers had expressions of panic as they looked at each other and dropped their knives and metal pipes with clanging sounds onto the dirt ground before raising their hands in surrender.

At the police station, inside the interrogation room was Oh Nam-Jun who was sitting alone in the room while twiddling his thumbs as his hands were still cuffed to the table. His stomach growled from hunger as he swore loudly.

"Ah, for f**king crying out loud, can I get something to eat! This is not how you treat a human being!" He shouted repeatedly before going silent as the door to the room was opened.

Walking inside was a detective wearing a brown zipped up jersey with black jeans and black sneakers. She had short black that shone brown in light and had pretty features that Oh Nam-Jun remembered clearly as he forgot about hunger and went silent.

Kim Yeon-Hee closed the door and locked it as she was here to collect some information as she cracked her knuckles.

"Not how you treat a human?" She asked in a low and menacing tone that sent shivers down Oh Nam-Jun's back
