Clichés 8: Not Playing Games

Jenny who had been watching lost her smile and sighed. Her boss was really no fun. She knew the time for messing around was over, and it's back to business now— or so she thought as she turned around to walk towards her own seat, and watched the two sulkily until the president spoke again.

"Good work. The new business department will take over these designs and start production," Henry announced as he gestured for Kim to stand up which the latter reciprocated with a raised brow as if to ask what.

"Stand up Kim Yue. I'm starving already," Henry Song said impatiently, and as expected, the head designer's feathers were ruffled.

"What do I have to do with your starvation?" Kim asked back and Jenny visibly perked up from her seat.

The showdown the office hadn't been witnessing for some time now seemed to be back. It's going to be an interesting fight, she thought.
