5:30 AM

"Carol… why are we taking a drive at this ungodly hour?" Amelia asks

"My lawyer senses are tingling so my dear daughter I'm going to visit an old friend… make sure you take a good look at his daughter okay?" Carol says

Amy freezes, that was the first time Carol had ever called Amy her daughter to her face. Something fishy was going on. Carol seemed nervous… She rarely ever tapped on her steering wheel except for the week leading up to a big case.

"Carol. What have you done?" Amelia asks

"Nothing that can be proven in a court of law sweetie," Carol says absently as she is looking out at a house.

Amy, having had enough of it, gets out of the passenger seat and starts walking back up the road.

"AMY DALLON WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"I don't feel like being an accomplice to what is likely a premeditated crime." Amy states bluntly as she starts to run.

The healer was legging it. Having hopped a fence she was trying to clear obstacles and break her line of sight. Once that was done she could hide and be in the clear. This isn't the first time she has run from her adoptive mother.

There is a tearing sound as Amy had caught her foot on something. With a crash, a section of the backyard she is in collapses and the healer is taken by the earth.

If one were to look at the hole the healer had created they would see it was being patched up post haste by a significant number of ants.

March 17th

5:45 am

In the dining room of the Herbert family.

Taylor was eating eggs while her dad sat across from her eating cereal.

Taylor was feeling happier these days. It probably had to do with sneaking out to the docks and befriending the ship girls. Not that her dad needs to know about it. The fact Fletcher looks like a younger Emma Barnes is kind of disturbing, however, she doesn't feel like the current Emma Barns more like the old one who was practically her sister.

Taylor's head snaps up looking at her dad.

"Is everything alright little owl?" Danny asks

"Not really, I have to go check something." Taylor says in mild panic.

"If it's that bad then go. I do want to hear about it later." Danny says

Taylor nods her head before she takes off out of the door.

Danny sighs to himself, he's noticed his daughter is getting shorter.

"Maybe it's just the bug powers changing her… Hopefully." Danny mutters looking over at a locked box Annette had stored away.

"Mathers… Have you seen the video"

"What video, Joseph I understand that your Edens gate group is one of the biggest of the fallen however if you show me another video of John's I am going to be annoyed." Mathers says

"Here just watch it." John says putting his dragon phone infont

Georgia singing we will rise again.

"She sounds just like the recording on Earth Arche's tubeyou account," Mathers says

"She does, Though she is also the cape who fought the angel on even grounds," Joseph says with his smile.

"She's the battleship cape," Mathers says

"Body type and hair match," Joseph says

"Be careful who we spread this to. That singer is considered a messenger by our lord. If they were to find out she fought an angel on even grounds." Mathers says

"It would be interesting though. Shouldn't we test her faith?" Joseph says

"I don't think she is going to go to Montana." Mathers says

"Send the Crowleys then. They love the violence." Joseph says

"Why not your children?" Mathers asks

"Jacob would be the only one who stood a chance and it wouldn't go to well." Joseph says

"Your visions tell you that?" Mathers asks in shock causing the cult leader to nod.

Amy grabs her head and it is pounding in pain. Then again she hit it on her landing so that was bound to happen.

"Where the hell am I?" Amy mutters as she gets up unsteadily

Amy squints as the low light of the cave is barely enough to see.

"Don't head towards the light Amelia. I wouldn't need to if you let me have my utility belt." Amy mutters as she starts to follow the light farther down the dirt and stone cave.

Unseen by Amy an army of insects was observing her.

Amy eventually finds the source of light.

It was Georgia in a tub full of black blood. Her body was dismembered as her eyes sat open looking at the door frame. She was dead.

Amy opened her mouth to scream as a gloved hand covers her mouth.

"Don't scream, she's fine." A female voice says

"She is and I quote undergoing a retrofit and left me here to guard her." The voice says

Amy panics because a bio tinker had captured one of the strongest capes in the city and was experimenting with her.

Amy struggled free and ran her hand through the figure holding her captive insects died in droves as Amy attempted to kill her attacker.

Amy had killed thousands of insects before she realized it was insects that were dying her vision was no longer blurry as the adrenaline wore off.

"You calmed down yet?" the voice asks again

"What is going on here?" Amy asks

"Georgia decided to do a retrofit. Her body is slowly modifying itself and she will come out stronger. According to her." Taylor says, stepping out of the shadows.

"That is idiotic," Amy says

"She knew she would be vulnerable and decided to do her upgrade in my den rather than at the docks." Taylor says

"True, everyone is watching the docks… Who are you?" Amy asked

"I haven't decided on a cape name yet, however, I am allied with the ships." Taylor admits
