"I trust you August but are you really sure?" Kayla said as we walked towards the cafeteria. "Yep, I think this event would be fun." I nodded.
"Alright, so how are you going to plan out the event? If we invite the whole school then we need a big space." She said.
"I will tell you and the others how this is going to work when we all gather up." I replied.
"By others do you mean the people you were talking about before?" She asked me as she put her hand on her chin.
"Yep, there will be five people including you, Luke, Alan, and me." I said, trying to think if there are any more people I didn't remember to list down.
"9 people? Are we enough to make such a big event?" She asked, wearing a worried expression on her face.
"Yes, the people I'm recruiting have good enough potential to make this event come true in time, I'm sure about that." I said, throughout my life I had a hard time trusting people which is still putting a bit of weight on my heart but I had to push myself in order to change by trying to trust the people around me more.
"I'll trust you on that, hopefully this all goes according to your plan." She sighed.
"I'm sure it will." I smiled.
We stood in line as we waited our turn to get food. We started to talk more, the memory of what happened before was already buried in the back of my head as we got our food and seated ourselves at a empty table.
After a few minutes we spotted Alan and Luke walking towards us with their trays of food.
"Aug! How could you just leave me alone in the dorm like that!" Luke said, annoyed as he sat besides me.
"No need to be annoyed, Luke, I just happened to wake up earlier then normal today today." I shrugged.
"Or you were sneaking out with your girlfriend early in the morning." He muttered, making Kayla blush slightly.
I was flustered by the sudden attack, "I am not, besides, I had business with Azner this morning." I replied, trying to calm myself down.
"You always have some kind of business to do, you're always too busy." He sighed.
"Don't think that way man, I just happened to have some things I wanted to do that's all." I tried to assure him,
"Mhm." He just rolled his eyes as he took a bit of his bacon as Aria jumped off my shoulder and landed in front of Luke, Aria clawed Lukes' face as they both fought for the bacon but it seemed like Luke could never win as Aria sat there, liking her paws as she swallowed the bacon.
"Anyways, I never checked on you Aug, so how are you?" Alan asked as he looked up from his plate as he swallowed his mouthful of food.
"I'm alright. I have talked to Kayla about this before already this morning but we are hosting an event." I said.
"Wait- for this whole school?" Luke asked as he stopped fighting Aria for bacon.
"Yea." Lukes' eyes widened.
"Damn… Well I can't wait, this is going to be fun." Alan smirked.
"Fun and tiring…" He sighed.
I looked at them,"Let me explain more to you…"
Still spring break for me, for some too (maybe?). Before I thought of going on a break and not post chapters for spring break but my hand seemed "itchy" from not typing on my keyboard much so I decided to just write a short chapter for you all to read.
Also, please make a review! Even if it's short it really helps me think on what I should improve on because if no one tells me then I could never just improve much just by myself can I? Also if you do post criticism then please make it into a constructed criticism, thank you in advance.
Like it? Add to library and give it a power stone! It helps a bunch, not just for this novel itself but also my motivation to keep on writing this novel!
