Chapter 6

Woon and Arth continued their journey, although they encountered a few goblins now and then, they just end up becoming test subjects for Woon to try his spells upon. Other than that it was smooth sailing.

Suddenly they heard noises coming from a little further away. They runs in the direction from where the sounds were coming from, they sees a girl who looks like an adventurer fighting with a bunch of wolves while protecting a wagon, her companions are lying dead from the monster attacks and the girl is in no better situation either.

Seeing the desperate situation in front of them, Woon shouts "Arth"(p)

Arth rushes towards them and with a single slash of his blade, he kills all the wolves.

Surprised from the sudden appearance of a knight who just killed all the wolves with a single slash. She faints from the fatigue and also the shock.

After a while....

The girl regains her consciousness. She feels the shaking of the wagon and slowly opens her eyes and finds herself inside the wagon. She instantly sits up and shouts "Uh? Where did the wolves go?"(g)-(girl) She looks around scared and finds a little boy and a knight sitting around her.

Seeing as the girl has regained consciousness "It's fine now, these gentlemen have took cared of those wolves."(W)-(wagon owner)

She Immediately remembers that suddenly out of nowhere a sword slash killed all the wolves "That was your doing?" With a little surprised and excitement, she looks at Arth.

After telling her what and how everything happened

She finally calms down

"Ah, completely forgot to introduce myself, My name is Diana Warfir, 16 year old, a D-rank adventurer, it's nice to make your Aquitaine."(g) She bows a little.

Hearing her age woon looks at her chest and thinks in his mind "Aren't they to big for a 16 year old, I guess these are one of the perks of transmigration."(p)

And so while keep chatting they continued their journey

After a few hours they find out that the city they are headed to is named bahamara one of the biggest trade cities of nation named aldrehed. In aldrehed many different species live in harmony. Since Elves, dwarves, beast folks and humans all have a common enemy demons. And since there are demons there's also heroes and demon kings.

"From what I understand from all this is that there's trouble everywhere, and I have to think carefully before I make any move from now on, one wrong move and I will be involved in unnecessary disputes."(p) in his mind

As Woon making plans and preparing counter measures they reached the city bahamara.

After they reached near the gates

Both Woon and Arth gets off the wagon and goes their separate ways.

The girl thanks them for saving them "Thank you for the help and have a save trip, I will never forget this favour and will definitely repay you one day."(g)

After that at the gate....

"Halt!"(g)-(guard)They gets stopped at the gate by the guards

"Do you have any I'd proof?"(g) guard questions arth as he has taken the role of father.

Before coming, Woon had already made arrangements with Arth. As Arth stands out a lot with his armour on, so he made him wear normal clothes

"Sorry we were attacked by monsters on our way here, our horse ran away with our stuff on it. Expect a little bit of money we lost most of our stuff including our id's, could u make an exception this once."(k)

Seeing Arth's condition and a kid with him the guard

"Okay then 10 coppers for the adult and 2 for kid for entry, and make sure to make new Id's as soon as possible, or you may get into trouble."

Arth takes out 12 coppers and pays for their entry.

After they gets inside

"Finally no more camping outside, and I can finally sleep inside."(p)

"But before that we have to register with the adventurers guild and get ourselves new id's."(p)

They immediately wents to the adventurers guild to get registered.

After a few moments they finally gets to the adventurers guild. As they went in they saw everyone being busy with work. They sees a receptionist who just finished talking to a adventurer. They go to that receptionist and asks her if she can register them as adventurers or not.

She looks at how casually Arth is dressed, at first she thinks he's just a hobo, but then she luckily glanced at his muscles and immediately gets her act together before she could have made a blunder from judging a book from his cover. She immediately guesses that Arth must be a strong person.

"Excuse me miss, could you help us, we want to register as adventurers?"(k)

With a smile "Definitely, it's easy for you."(r)-(receptionist) She glances at Woon "But do you also want this kid to be registered as an adventurer?"(r)

"Yes, is there a problem with him also joining?"(k)

Receptionist flusters "Um.. how old is this kid."(r)

"10, why?"(k)

"The minimum age requirement for joining as an adventurer is 14, so he can't join yet."

As Arth was Dumb founded Woon tells receptionist "then just register father."(p)

The receptionist immediately begins. She passes a piece of paper

"Please fill out this form."(r)

Arth immediately fills the form and returns it to the receptionist. She take the form and takes out a crystal ball

"Please place your hand on this crystal ball, this crystal ball can tell us that is the person have ever committed a murder."(r)

Arth places is hand on the crystal ball

A second later, she looks at the crystal, as there was no reaction

"All clear, you can remove your hand now."(r)

She brings out Arths card

"Here's your new guild card, it can also act as identity proof."(r)

Arth takes the card and looks at it

After giving Arth his guild card, she begins explaining about some stuff related to guild rules and system

"Everyone starts from F-rank. Once they do a certain number of jobs, they advances to E-rank and so on. Ranking system is in order from F>E>D>C>B>A>S rank, anything higher comes under the category of Legendary rank."(r)

She looks towards Arth

"Since you have just joined you will start from the bottom, F-rank. You have to do quests and work your way up. Quests are posted on the bulletin board, you can choose any quest that catches your fancy under your rank."(r)

Thus she continues to explain a few more rules and procedures

After she finishes explaining everything

"And that sums it up. If you may any queries in the future you can always ask them at the reception desk."(r)

Arth glances at Woon, as woon nods, Arth also nods

"I will be in care then."(k) And with that they exit the guild.

After Arth has joined the adventurer's guild, now it's for Woon's turn

"Since Arth have done with joining adventurer's guild, it's time for our next destination, "The Merchant guild"."

They both looks at each other and then looks forward and shouts

"Onwards to the Merchant guild."
