Chapter 46 - Danzou 04.

The Land of Sound.

There was a sound of dripping from a crack in the ceiling. Danzou had stopped breathing as the corridor in front of him seemed to enter a heavy atmosphere.

"That..." He murmured, then something happened at that moment—a kunai flew towards him, while he pulled one of his own from his pocket and blocked the attack.

He quickly got up as the kunai fell to the floor, making the sound of metal resonate through the room. Everything seemed silent again, while Danzou looked into the darkness of the corridor, not knowing where his enemy was.

"Who's there...?" was the only thing Danzou managed to say, before two red spheres emerged from the darkness.

"A pair of Sharingan?!" Danzou couldn't help but murmur, dazed by the sight of the 3-tomoe Sharingan shining there.

"I usually wear my mask..." A female voice emerged as Akame stepped out of the darkness, walking towards Danzou.

What surprised him, was when she revealed herself to be just a child in the end. "Who are you?" He couldn't help but ask, but Akame continued her words, walking into the room with dangerous eyes. "But to you, the one responsible for the near destruction of the Uchiha clan and for the death of my mother... I am Akame Uchiha and I want you to see an Uchiha smiling as you die," she said.

Danzou narrowed his only eye at this, still wondering what was happening there, but he changed his posture as soon as he saw Akame begin to make hand seals quickly, using a fire-style jutsu without warning. Danzou quickly made a series of seals too, launching a wind jutsu to combat this enemy.

The fire expanded from Akame's mouth, crashing through the narrow corridor and advancing into the room where Danzou was. Meanwhile, Danzou's wind also exploded, heading towards the fire creating a vortex similar to the enemy's jutsu.

The explosion, as soon as both elements touched, quickly made the place tremble while Akame continued spitting fire and Danzou launching his wind without needing to spit.

It seemed a clash between the jutsus as one tried to overpower the other, but something was happening in that small place and Danzou was the most affected. "I can't stay here for long," he quickly realized that, as he was in a closed room and the only exit was a corridor with flames, the oxygen was being consumed by Akame's burning flames, even weakening his jutsu.

It wasn't much longer before the oxygen began to run out, continuing to be consumed by the fire, the strength of Danzou's jutsu soon began to diminish. Then, the explosion began to invade the place and consume everything in the room as Akame did not stop gushing her flames and watching the place being devastated as soon as the resistance stopped.

The entire room turned into flames, destroying everything. But the fire soon began to lose strength as well due to the lack of oxygen in the place, though there were still some flaming arrows burning here and there. However, Akame saw no sign of Danzou there and looked up where Danzou was standing upside down with part of his arm burned.

He quickly launched an attack against her, throwing kunais, which Akame quickly caught with her weapon and deflected all the projectiles he threw. He quickly started to walk on the ceiling and advanced against her, passing through the flames on the floor. "I was looking for a pair of Sharingan and intended to do so when I returned to the land of fire, but I was lucky they came faster than I could think," he said as he advanced against her.

He jumped from the ceiling towards her and they quickly began to exchange blows as Akame used her blood to anticipate all of Danzou's attacks. They exchanged punches and kicks against each other with Danzou trying to make an opening in her.

"You're just a child, what makes you think you can beat me?" Danzou spoke, trying to put pressure against her, but he realized that the fight wasn't as easy for him. Akame had her Sharingan and the hellish taijutsu training from Naruto, so she began to gain ground in the hand-to-hand fight.

"How is it possible, you're just a child!" Danzou could hardly believe it, feeling the girl create an opening and kicking him, sending him flying back with superhuman force several meters away.

But Akame didn't stop; she grabbed a scroll and summoned some shurikens, leaping and hurling them at Danzou. However, Danzou quickly got up, taking stars from his pocket. He began to blow on them, generating a wind chakra around them to grow the size of a shuriken and launched it against Akame's weapon, which was quickly cut while the spinning thing continued to race towards the Uchiha girl in the air.

She quickly spun her Sharingan and managed to dodge in time, watching the object fly in slow motion. However, just as she dodged the first two, she saw 2 more of those wind chakra stars coming as she stepped on the ceiling, she quickly jumped in a somersault managing to dodge those attacks by mere inches, as they hit and pierced the walls, with her stepping on the ground, but Danzou was no longer on that side and was instead running out of the tunnels.

"I have to get out of here," Danzou murmured as he ran. For he was at a disadvantage while, as a wind user, being in a closed place underground was not only unfavorable for him, he also had to fight someone who uses the fire element and can consume all the local oxygen with their jutsus..." he reflected on his first clash with the girl. Ideally for him, it would be to fight her outside.

He continued running through the darkness, but still kept an eye on the place, after all, he did not believe this girl was there alone.

He didn't even think Konoha had sent a child to attack him, which left him in a mystery about what was happening there. As he ran, he felt a light coming from behind him and a flame in the shape of a dragon roared towards him.

He ran through the corridors with a fire dragon exploding while he dodged, racing through the corridors of Orochimaru's laboratory. He quickly moved from corridor to corridor while Akame pursued him, launching fire jutsus even though it also consumed her own oxygen. She would not miss the chance to try to hurt him there.

It was only after he jumped out of the exit, stopping in front of the entrance, that Akame followed right after, jumping the distance while both stood farther away from each other.

Danzou began to make seals quickly intending to hurt the girl. As soon as he finished the jutsus, he began to launch lines of cutting wind, much stronger than he could launch within those corridors. Akame had to rely solely on her speed to escape, while he kept attacking until one of the attacks hit, making her transform into wood in the substitution jutsu.

Danzou quickly turned around as the girl jumped on top of him, ready to kill him. But as she arrived, he managed to make a seal quickly and suddenly her body stopped, with dark marks starting to appear. "You really think I wasn't prepared for this?" Danzou mocked. But still, he was not fully paying attention to the trapped girl, scanning the environment for any other ninja along with the Uchiha, since he still did not believe she was alone. The forest was completely silent with the Uchiha trapped in front of him, glaring at him with clenched teeth.

Akame was somewhat frustrated by this; after all, she wanted to kill that man. But he still caught, "I must admit I never expected an Uchiha of this level after what befell the clan, you are at the level of Itachi when he was this age..." He admitted, despite the fight not having lasted long.

Then he quickly went to grab her eye with his fingers. However, before he could do that, a thorn came out of the ground making him dodge to the side in a quick reflex, moving his body. But more thorns began to emerge, trying to skewer him like a spit, forcing him to immediately leave there while trying to move away from all those thorns emerging from the ground.

"Who...?" He murmured looking at the ground full of bone spurs around Akame.

A new boy landed on the ground, a bit older than the Uchiha girl. Danzou furrowed his brow at this... "These bones, this appearance, you are from the Kaguya clan...?" Danzou was very confused by the situation. 'An Uchiha and a remnant of the Kaguya clan here... what's happening here...?' Danzou couldn't help but think.

"You are Danzou Shimura, a traitor and fugitive from the Leaf Village..." Kimimaro spoke as Akame finally managed to escape the jutsu and looked frustratedly at Danzou.

Danzou was a bit frustrated when this boy called him a traitor of the leaf, after all, he did everything for the well-being of the village, being called a traitor was one of the things that angered him most in life.

He surveyed the young ones in front of him, "What's with these brats...? Why am I being hunted by beliefs?" Danzou couldn't help but murmur with a bit of anger and frustration.

Akame prepared to fight again, but with Kimimaro accompanying her, "It doesn't matter... You will be killed here." She commented, readying for the fight.

"Do you really think... hm?!" Danzou was surprised by spikes flying towards him at that moment, before he could finish, he quickly dodged and began to make seals, moving away from there and completed, launching a wave of wind arising in that space of the forest and Akame was also very quick in launching her flames to combat the enemy's jutsu again, clashing against the old elder while the fire illuminated the night environment.

Danzou's jutsu was stronger out here, it started to gain over Akame's flames as he broke through the fire and quickly advanced against the two. Seeing this, Kimimaro was quick and placed his hands on the ground, while a wall of bones began to rise from the ground, protecting them from Danzou's attack.

As soon as Danzou's jutsu lost its effect without breaking the defense of the wall, wind chakra stars began to fly beside the wall and going towards them, which they quickly had to dodge, Akame could still use her Sharingan to dodge the attacks, but Kimimaro had to be careful, since his bones could not stop that cutting attack.

Danzou was generating more stars while blowing on them, but Akame emerged on top of him. He saw this and tried to kick the girl in the air who defended herself after dodging his attack and entered once more into the hand-to-hand fight with Danzou, as soon as Kimimaro got rid of the attacks, he also ran to them and Danzou felt the pressure of the two attacking at the same time.

He created a claw of bones, while Akame used her Kunai and Danzou was retreating with the hand-to-hand battle using a kunai, until his cheek was scratched by Akame's kunai, having no choice seeing that he was losing. He backed off and made a seal with his hands with the blood of the cut, while both ran towards him, and Danzou slammed the ground. Suddenly, an explosion of smoke arose from the forest with a huge elephant coming out of it roaring. Danzou had resorted to his summoning.

"What is that?" The elephant's roar was so loud that Karin in the distance looked worried, while Akame's clones couldn't tell what it was coming from a distance.
