DXD 8

The Dimensional Gap was a vibrant mixture of colors, an almost violet shade that matched the eyes of Ophis. It was pretty big in size that one would think it was infinite. However, it was the size of a universe, which in itself is pretty large.

"Haven't been here since our first arrival," Shinobu said as she surveyed her surroundings and looked at the shifting of colors. This got a surprised look from Ophis. She didn't know they had come through here and wasn't notified by it. Perhaps she was dealing with Khaos Brigade. Even if that was the case, Great Red should have noticed and informed her of the trespassing in her home. Stupid dragon and his stunts causing more trouble than it's worth.

"This where you live," Flandre said as she flew around the area with Scathach standing beside Shinobu. She continued for a few moments before reappearing beside Scathach as she stared at Ophis. "It's quite colorful but looks pretty boring, can't imagine myself living here."

"Definitely more lively than the Land of Shadows," Scathach said as she compared her realm to the Dimensional Gap before all three of them looked at Ophis. "So Ophis-san, lead us to your intruder so we may try to work out a deal if possible."

Raven locks shook as Ophis shook her head. All of a sudden there was a massive pressure crashing down as Shinobu, Flandre, and Scathach looked at Ophis as she began to exert more pressure to call upon her dreaded trespasser. Soon an equally power clashed with Ophis's power as another dimensional rip opened up. However, this one was massive in size. Rivaling skyscrapers as something was coming out of the dimensional rip.

"He's coming..." Ophis said menacingly as she looked toward the massive gap as the large being slowly and menacingly stepped out of it.

"Woooow...Impressive!" Flandre said with a smile as she looked at the gap. A Big Red. A lot of scaly, lizardly red. A dragon of massive, almost unbelievable size slowly passed through the tear. "That's one giant lizard..."

"Ophis." Great Red's words echoed loudly and somehow shook the empty space surrounding them. "What the hell do you want you old witch?"

"As you know, this is my problem," Ophis said pointing at Great Red with a frown. She really hated the stupid dragon. "Now remove him from my home and return my silence."

"Aunt?" Flandre called getting a raised eyebrow from Shinobu. "May I take this fight?"

"Of course niece," Shinobu said with a small smile before looking at Ophis as she conjured a contract and crouched to her level with a crooked grin on her face. "Ophis you have to enter a contract with me, as shown in the contract below. Nothing harmful I assure you."

"What do you want me to do?" Ophis asked getting a chuckle from Shinobu who handed her the contract and the quill. Ophis looked at the paper with some curiosity and began to read through the contract. After a few moments of reading, she signed the contract before it went up in white flames.

"Neat, now that's done. I can deal with the Oversized Lizard!"Flandre said with a grin as she pointed in Great Red's direction and as expected the dragon didn't take the nickname he was called very well.

"Who the hell do you think you are you insolent little worm?! Talking to me of all creatures like that!" Great Red said looking down at Flandre's small form in comparison to his. "Bah! You're not even big enough to be considered a worthwhile snack!"

"Oi stop talking like your the shit you Oversized Reptile!" Flandresaid with a smirk on her beautiful face. "And I bet you were a loser at high school, you dumb lizard."

"Dragons don't go to High School you ignorant plebian!" Great Red said glaring at Flandre who began to laugh.

"Kakaka! So you admit you're dumb and stupid too," Flandre said mockingly as she continued laughing. Ophis found this exchange somewhat funny. "So much for the Great Dragon of the Apocolypse. But you're in luck. I run a school for pain. I'll give you the full course."

"You talk a lot for someone so small!" Great Red said mockingly getting a glare from Flandre who soon had a smirk on her face.

"Kakakaka~ Very well dragon," Flandre said with a dark chuckle as numerous crooked-looking wings grew out from her back. In her hand was the Laevatein which took the form of a large spear that was emitting dark and evil intent. After all, Laevatein is a sentient weapon.

Next to her, Ophis froze up. Her hands trembled slightly at being so close to such massive and terrifying power she felt from the spear alone.

"You...are going to be an annoyance. I can already tell." Great Red said, looking at Flandre's stoic face. Great Red snarled and then cocked his head back and opened his massive maw wide as a massive, bright ball of pure white formed from his mouth. "I'll finish this in one move!"

"Woah, that's pretty impressive! You guys should probably stand back, especially you Ophis," Flandre said with a smile as she grabbed her spear tightly and took up a baseball stance in preparation to hit Great Red's attack.

An inhumane sound echoed in Flandre's ears as Great Red unleashed his attack. The beast fired off its blast at incredible speed, a beam of pure light that crossed half the distance between them in a split second.

Flandre pulled her arm back a bit before swinging her spear forward and hitting the beam of light while adding a small portion of her power, sending it toward Great Red who barely dodged the attack. The explosion that followed shook the entirety of the dimensional gap itself. Ophis had to shut her eyes, despite her openly ignoring Flandre's warning earlier, in an effort to block out the blinding light that resulted. When the backlash from the explosion dwindled. Great Red stood in silence, staring down at Flandre with calculative eyes who was yawning.

Ophis couldn't help but watch on with barely contained interest. Even she, with all of her immense and infinite power, had a rather difficult time matching the true dragon's raw power like that. Yet this girl did so without fail. She didn't even look so much as surprised that she did, if anything the wide grin plastered over her features indicated otherwise.

"Ara, she is quite powerful for her age. Don't you think so Scathach-kun?" Shinobu asked while watching her niece sit on the Laevatein as it floated in mid-air. "But she might end up destroying the area if she does that again."

"Tch, I guess, but she's acting like her mother and not taking the fight seriously," Scathach said with a sigh. "When you're wide open you get hurt, it doesn't matter how strong you are."

"Ohhh?" Flandre asked looking at both her aunts before her face morphed into a wide smile. "Maybe I'm giving him a handicap?"

"Handicap! You little shit, you really must want to die!!" Great Red said in a rage looking at the smug Flandre before calming down and laughing. "Alright kid, how about this? I like your guts! So I'll tell you. The truth is, I just like this place. That's all there is to it! Plenty of flying space and no one stares at me! It's perfect!"

"So is that your call for surrender?" Flandre asked with a small frown before chuckling. "Well, it can't be helped. I wouldn't want to fight me either. But I believe my Aunt would be the one to negotiate your surrender."

"Tch, don't get too ahead of yourself. I was just warming up." Great Red said in an attempt to not lose face.

"Yeah, sure thing," Flandre said with a shrug before yawning. "You tell yourself that Great Red."

"Well that was quick," Shinobu said with a smile before floating toward Great Red and Flandre, with her niece beginning to shrink in size and reverting to her previous form. "How about I make you a better place for you to spread your wings? All you have to do is leave the Dimensional Gap to Ophis."

"And you can provide me with something like that?" Red asked as he looked at Shinobu, disbelief dripping from every word. "Very well. I'll amuse you, explain now before I lose my patience and eat you, goddess."

"You want to go another round Lizard!?" Flandre called out with a glare not liking the disrespect from great Red toward her Aunt. "I'll make sure not to miss this time!"

"It's quite alright Niece," Shinobu said with a smile before looking back at Great Red. "Please be nice to the one helping you."

"Tch...Fine, I'm listening." Great Red said with a sigh and hearing her out. "This best not be a waste of my time."

"Thank you for being so understanding. Now I'm going to make you a universe-sized pocket dimension. It can suit your preferred climate. Hot? Cold? Moderate? Grassy? Chilly? You name it! I can deliver!" Shinobu said with a smile explaining the details to the dragon.

"Goddess, I am the dragon of the apocalypse. Why would I need something trivial like that? Like I said before. This place is just fine for me. I'm staying!" Great Red simply replied getting a groan from Shinobu who was losing her patience.

"Great lizard!" Flandre shouted getting Great Red's attention as he glared at her. "Don't knock it till you try it! I showed you some guts, and if you agree whether you like it or not I promise we can have a spar some other time! Hell, I'll even visit you once in a while!"

"Tch, I don't need your crappy little visits!" Great Red said with a glare almost as if he was insulted. "Although I would love to take you up on a spar. It's too rare when I get to flex my wings. I can't guarantee I won't rip the flesh from your bones by accident though."

"Niece? Are you certain about this?" Shinobu asked, looking down at her niece with a blank stare and receiving a nod from her. "Very well. Are you ready Great Red?"

"Very well. Take me to a place, and then we'll see if I decide to eat you or not." Great Red said getting a nod from Shinobu.

"You're a pretty rude dragon. Anyways look around," Shinobu said as the group found themselves in a universe full of celestial bodies but completely devoid of life. Great Red took off flying around as he analyzed his new surrounding. He begrudgingly found it nice compared to the blank dimensional gap. He soon returned to the group after a few minutes of flying and testing. "Well looks like our job is done. Please do enjoy your stay."

"..." Great Red remained silent for a moment before its massive mouth curled up into another vicious grin, and the scaled beast nodded. "I like it! Promise me that the witch never visits and I get weekly spars with the goddess and you have yourself a deal! You hear that, witch? You can keep that shitty old place and all its burdens as long as I can call all of this mine!"

"Well Loli-chan, you got your home back," Flandre said with a grin as Shinobu opened up a gap back to Earth. "Aunt? What was the contract between you and Ophis."

"She is to become our cute mascot," Shinobu said with a smile as she wrapped a shoulder across Scathach as they walked through the gap.

"Tch, you still haven't fulfilled my last wish!" Ophis said getting groans from everyone.

"We're not going to have sex with you. at least don't look like a loli." Flandre said with a groan as they all reached their destination.

When Akemi next returned to the D4C Shop, she idly noted that Naruko wasn't around. There were a few new faces and a...little girl?

"Where's your mom?" Akemi asked Flandrewho simply replied with 'Out of Town'. Akemi nodded before waving at the 3 new women and little girl. "Hello?"

"Hello, name is Shinobu Oshino." Shinobu said as she introduced herself before pointing to both Kaede and Scathach who was sitting on the left and right of her. "The purple-haired is Scathach and the black-haired is Kaede. Nice to meet you."

"And the little girl?" Akemi asked nervously.

"Ophis," Ophis replied emotionlessly as she sat on the couch next to Flandre as they continued to play on the console.

Meanwhile, outside of the store. A certain crimson-haired princess who'd secretly been tailing one Akemi Hyoudou with the hopes of finding the location of the shop was pulling at her bright red hair while trying to figure out just how it was that Akemi suddenly disappeared into thin air without warning.
