But now, I am a vampire

As Rose and Tess went on the offensive, I simply sat down in front of the car bonnet, my legs crossed and arms tucked in.

I had expected to hear a bit of screams here and there, but instead, these vampires landed on the ground right in front of me.

Dressed in their goofy looking ninja wear, they immediately stood close to one another, holding out their weapons as if ready to defend against me.

A few seconds after, Rose and Tess also landed, but they stood in front of me, proving they wanted to protect me from them.

I didn't need that though.

After observing the vampires in front of me for a while, it was clear to see they were afraid of me.

Was it because the rumor of me being the king of vampires has spread?

Or was it simply because they could sense how strong I am? Either way, this feels like the perfect scenario.

"You there... What is your name?" I asked.

My gaze was fixed on the vampire standing in front of the group and I'm very sure they also knew that.

But even still, they decided to not answer but rather pushed their knife up, an attempt to tell me they wanted to fight back.

Sigh!

"Perhaps I didn't make myself clear,"

With a flick of my finger, a sent force so strong it ripped the vampire's head from their body.

The rest immediately gasped in fear, their gaze touching the ground. It would seem they can already tell what was at stake here.

"I'll ask you again, who are you, and why were you tailing me?" So I asked.

"Eronc family, under the orders of our lady Lisa." One of the vampires spoke.

"And why did she give you orders to stalk me?"

"I do not know, we are low rank vampires, all we do is follow orders, we don't know the exact details." Another vampire replied.

It is true, even in the Murai house which happens to be my house now, some vampires have higher status than others, but I never really had the time to notice or learn about them.

"Welp, this has been a total waste of my time." I muttered under my breath, folding my sleeves before walking towards the vampires.

"So here's how it's going to go… Rose." I called out, standing in front of the vampires while I looked down at them.

From the mention of her name, Rose understood why I called and didn't disappoint. She transformed into a wooden sword and landed in my grasp.

The moment I held her, I bent in front of the vampires and whispered to them right after I licked my lower lips.

"Once I'm done with you, damaged or dead, I want you to go back to the one who sent you, and tell her, 'Let us meet on Tuesday morning, next week, at my place, and every progenitor is to be present'".

After I gave the instructions, I didn't bother to hear their response as I began raining them with beatings after beatings.

I would be lying if I said I was pouring a bit of my frustration into every strike, but who cares.

"There we go"-

From my grasp, Rose transformed back into her human form. While I was left trying to clean the blood stains on my body.

"Was that necessary master?" Rose asked me.

Sigh!

"I may have overreacted, heal them up or something and let's get moving."

With that, I made my way back to the car while Tess followed behind me.

Once Rose was done, we began our journey back to the city. Phantom city is one of the biggest cities in Ravalon.

Before I moved to New York to start my business and raise funds for me to continue going to college, I was once a freshman at one of the self-immaculate universities in Ravalon.

I was lucky enough to gain a one year scholarship, once the year ended, I had to fend for myself.

And so I did, working my ass off to save enough money for me to continue school with one of my best friends.

Sounds stupid, but I'm considering going back to college, living a normal life like the rest of the people my age. It was impossible because I was poor.

But now, not only am I a vampire, but I'm extremely rich since Amber has lots and lots of treasures.

And even better, I should be able to learn more about other supernatural beings which would help me in bringing my family back to life and kill Siragi along the way.

But an even greater reason why I'll return back to the academy-

Is because someone there is destined to meet me.

That was the sound of Tess making a side drift with the car as she packed in front of the house.

"Master, We've arrived." She spoke.

"Can you not drive normally Tess? What if you had caused the car to tumble?" Rose began nagging like she always does.

"Urrrrrgh! You're such a bore Rose." Tess responded exactly how I knew she would.

"We're going in." I spoke, chiming right between their conversion.

"Are you sure? It doesn't seem safe in there," Tess utterred.

The moment she said that, it hit me, I should probably do it sooner this time, I'd be a fool to make the same mistake.

"Krista." I summoned her.

With a slight spark of light, Krista appeared in front of me, sitting on the car door with her usual smile.

"Yes my Lord? Can I help you?".

"Can I use the power of the king, Redo, now without any consequences?" I asked, both Tess and Rose looking at me since they can't see Kirsta.

"I suppose, you seem fully healed now." She replied.

"Excellent." -

With a deep breath, I uttered,

"Redo".

And just like that, my spawn point was set and ready.
