Jack raised his eyebrows. "I said that we'll be buying it right here. It's just a small amount of money. Why are you hesitating? 

"Wow, you're talking big now, huh?"

Winnie and Duke both chuckled when they heard what Jack said. 

"Do you know how much the jewelry here costs? I'm afraid you won't be able to afford it even after we sell you off!"

"Even Pinocchio is not as bad a liar as you are. I can smell your bullshit from a mile away."

Jack said plainly. 

Lily was amused. She finally relaxed a little. 

After she was done chuckling, she tried to drag Jack away, afraid that Winnie would get angry and make a big fuss about it.

Things might have a bad turn if Jack offended Winnie. She would use this incident to exploit him. 

'Jack's enemies are still around. He shouldn't allow such trivial matters to give them leverage over him. It's not worth it.'
