"Brother Alex, have you seen Evelyn?" asked Anna, coming into the house with a lot of pillows in her hands.

"Huh, did you not send her to call Bella, she was in the kitchen a while ago, and Bella left with her," said Alex coming out of the kitchen.

He was holding two trays in his hands. One had cupcakes and the other had burgers. Chips and cold drinks were already set on the table.

"No, I did not ask Evelyn to call Bella. I was not even at home. I went to brother Mike to bring more pillows." she replied showing him her hands where she was holding 5 pillows with difficulty.

"Huh, maybe they were gone there to find you," he stated putting everything on the table and then rubbing his hands. "Come let's go and check there."

Though Anna was confused, as both of the houses were adjacent, if Evelyn and Bella were there she would have seen them. But still, she nodded her head, as there was no other place where they could go, "alright, let's go and check."

But before they could go, the room opened and Mike came in, "Hey guys, so everything is set." he asked, rubbing his hands and walking forward.

He looked at the table and smiled, "Woah, Alex my favourite cupcakes" he hastily took one and put it in his mouth.

"Uh, Mike were Bella and Evelyn there in your house?" asked Alex, though he was sure now that's not the case. Otherwise, both girls would have joined him when he was coming here.

"Huh, my house! Were they not here, helping you and Anna in cooking and choosing music," asked Mike with furrowed brows. He patted his hands to clean the leftover crumbs and asked them, "where are they?"

"I don't know," Alex replied and Anna also shook her head.

"What do you mean by you don't know?" asked Mike tilting his head with furrowed brows, "were they not with you in the meantime?"

"Evelyn came to the kitchen telling us that Anna was called Bella. So Bella left with her. But when I came out of the kitchen Anna was standing here alone. She asked me where both of them were."

"I was at your house brother Mike, I wanted a few more pillows for the setting. I did not know where they went to, but I had not asked Evelyn to call Bella. When I came back the room was empty. We were just going to your house to check there." said Anna before Mike could even ask her anything.

"There is no one at my house. Mother just slept so I came here after locking all the doors. If they would have been there I would have seen them." replied Mike shaking his head.

"But then where could they go at this hour?" asked Anna looking at the watch, it was already 11 pm, and temperature here was very low. The night was very chilly, the roads were filled with snow.

All the shops were closed and the streets were deserted at this time, there was no place where they could go.

"Mike, do you have Evelyn's number? Call her and ask where they both are?" asked Alex, running a hand in his hairs, the concern could be heard in his voice.

He was looking tense and worried, his heart was telling him something wrong was about to happen. Something is hurting him but he did not know why he was feeling tense, but it felt like something very bad was going to happen.

"Yeah, I have her no. wait for a second," he replied nodding his head.

He put his hands in the jeans pocket to pick out his phone. He dialled the number but the phone was switched off. His expression turned worse as he tried many times but each time the reply was the same. 'The customer you are calling is not there to pick up the phone."

He put his phone back and shook his head to the people who were looking at him with anticipation.

"Damn, how could they both be so careless. Going out of the house at midnight without telling anyone," shouted Alex, running a hand again in his hairs.

Anna and Mike looked at each other and then at Alex. It was the first time they had seen Alex being this angry after the last fight with his uncle.

"Relax brother Alex, maybe they were just down there in the park or went to a nearby shop to buy something," said Anna putting a hand on his shoulders.

"Yeah, Alex. Let's wait for half an hour. If they still did not return, we will go and search for them." said Mike giving a glass of water to Alex.

Alex sighed, he did not want to make his family worried. But the nagging feeling from his heart was not going and he was feeling very restless.

Still, he nodded his head and sat there with both of them. But his eyes were glued on the watch, as each passing second felt like an eternity to him.

On the other side in the deserted alley.

Bella had almost thrown everyone in the pit of hell, just two demons were left who were still holding her tight at her place, winding her in the meantime.

Even mother elf had gotten rid of the four demons who were trying to hurt her. She had made all of them unconscious and now were praying chants to burn their body.

All this brought immense fury to the head demon who was sure of their winning. He gritted his teeth. Summoning his sword, he spoke

"you had wasted enough time of ours, number15. Now it's time to say goodbye."

With that he did a single attack on Bella, stabbing the sword straight to her heart. Bella's eyes widen as blood spluttered out of the wound and she fell on the floor clutching her chest. He took out the sword and laughed, "it's time to say goodbye number 15."
