When he noticed I was lagging behind in my movement, he turned to look at me. Without him saying a word, I told him that I was alright and would be able to continue on. I was actually hungry and needed to eat something and I knew that if I told him that, he would abandon everything and go in search of food for me to eat. But this was about me trying to repay him, I can not make everything revolve around me, so I decided if we are done at wherever he was taking me to, I might tell him on our way back and we would both go in search of what to eat. I would not allow him to leave me behind for whatever reason, wherever he goes I will, I have learnt a lot of lesson from my past mistake. He squatted down with me and raised my leg up to observe it, the light at which he used to raise it up in his panic, almost made me fall backwards. He helped me to adjust so I was sitting with my back against a log of wood, he grabbed one of the leaves that I had thrown on the ground earlier and tried to wipe it clean so he could see the wound clearly but the more he cleaned, the more blood came out. What we needed was water to wash it clean, how I wish I still had my water jar with me.

He stood up and helped me to do the same, I had to suspend my injured leg on the air while waiting for the next course of action from him, from the way it was looking it seemed like I was going to hop all the way over to where we were going and I did not want him to use my injury as an excuse as to why we could not continue on with the journey, I would dissuade him from that thinking if that was what he planned..
