Chapter 42: Classmate Associate.

Everything was fitting into place now. No wonder Chanyu was so familiar to Loni. This party, Loni felt as if she knew everyone here. But she couldn't grasp the remembrance. Now at the moment, this was trouble. Loni was pinned by Chanyu to the wall with his "friend" literally just watching while eating the food.

"You think I wouldn't recognize you huh?" Chanyu chuckled.

"We m-met at the club." Loni trying to avoid contact.

"No, no, no darling. Think farther back. Would this give you a hint?" Chanyu pulled out a locket.

Suddenly, Loni stopped resisting and her eyes widen. Her face was so pale, it was as if her soul was taken right out of her body.

"Well would you look at that, a picture of you." Chanyu showed Loni.

It all came back to Loni now. But why would someone like Chanyu with a big reputation like Loni back in middle school?

"I-I" Loni couldn't mouth the words.

"You don't remember? Everyone teased me because I had a crush on the 'hard to get girl' at school." Chanyu let go of Loni and sat down on the couch.

"I left school because everyone was jealous of me. A person with a big reputation like you at school, of course everyone would like you." Loni reminisced.

"I liked you because you were hard-working, intelligent, and quite different from everyone else." Chanyu admitted.

"I was basically a nerd in middle school and I still am." Loni got up to leave.

Chanyu grabbed Loni's wrist and suddenly kissed her once again. Being disgusted, Loni pushed Chanyu away with all her might.

"What was that for?!" Loni had tears in her eyes now.

"It was to bring back the feelings I still have for you." Chanyu smirked. "You know if I want something, I would get it, right?"

"You fucking rich playboy." Loni thought.

Furious, Loni walked right out the door. She slammed her car door and all the tears came rolling down. She remembered the love Chanyu had for her now. The kind of love that leaves you warm... Loni reminisced of the time where she kept rejecting Chanyu's love confession, but the next day, he would try once more.

All Loni had to say was, "Why me?"
