When I opened my eyes, Elijah was sitting near me.

“Elijah..” I touched him and hugged him. "Finally, you are back.”

“I told you, he can’t do anything to me. Didn’t I?” He said that and hugged me tightly as the duty doctor came.

“What’s your name?”

“Mrs. Valentina.” I said that and held Elijah’s hand.

“Dear, you are pregnant, for god’s sake. You can’t be put under a lot of stress. You should be at peace. Who is your husband?” She asked in a stern tone.

“I’m Elijah. Her husband.” He introduced himself.

“Lord Elijah?”

“Yes. What is my wife's condition?”

“My lord, lady, is pregnant. Usually, pregnant women are weak. She can’t be put under a lot of stress or emotional situations." She said.

“Now, is she okay?”
