Chapter 31
As Madison met with Dylan, we were planning to celebrate my pregnancy. While I was picking a date, Elijah massaged my foot.
“Oii, what are you doing?” I asked him.
“Nothing. I just wanted to make you feel better.”
“I can understand that, but why are you so gloomy?” I asked him.
“When I was a child, I used to cling to my mother, which made my mom give her full attention to me. Now what if the child takes all your attention and I will be left behind?”
“Ewww, Elijah, you should talk like a father. You silly.”
“No, you don’t understand. I want your full attention. You shouldn’t be too attached to our child. You should love me more than our child. Okay?” He talked like a toddler who was trying to get full attention. Furthermore, he appointed a doctor for me 24 hours a day to take care of me.
"Elijah, aren’t you going overboard?”
