Visit

Seeing that it had been quite some time since he had left home, Aegon decided to leave the X-Men with their problems and head to Peter's house. "I have to admit the company is great but there are still things I have to do besides visiting my girlfriends so I have to go now. Would anyone like to exchange contacts with me?"

Emma was the first to respond. "I would like to after all we are friends now."

Except for Ororo the rest did not seem interested in having his contact. Aegon really hoped all the girls would agree, but that wasn't the case, which should be strange with him being such a magnet for the opposite sex.

Ororo knew that the professor would be interested in the boy, moreover, although he claimed that he was not a mutant they could not be sure with his words alone.

"If you don't mind I'd also like to exchange numbers, it's not every day you meet someone with powers who isn't a mutant." The boys seemed surprised at Ororo's friendly attitude.

"Sure. Tell me do you think it would be a problem if I ever visited you at that school for gifted youngsters?" Aegon was trying to be as charming as possible and from the blush on Ororo's cheeks, he was working.

"I think you might like the place." Ororo replied.

Before getting up from the table Aegon leaned forward and unexpectedly put one of his hands on Rogue's face causing everyone to freeze especially Rogue. With his other hand, he parted some hair that was on the girl's face and told her. "Rogue, you are a beautiful girl and something tells me smart, you should try to enjoy life a little more." He then got up and started to leave.

Everyone was still surprised until Rogue got up from the table and removed one of the gloves she was wearing on her hands. "Wait!"

They all realized what he was going to do, but Rogue had moved in such a hurry that they couldn't do anything. Well Jean maybe she was curious about what he could go through. Rogue took Aegon's hand and stared at him in surprise.

"Rogue, are you okay?"

"Can I touch you."

"Whenever you want, it doesn't bother me at all."

"No, you don't understand. I am incapable of having physical contact with another person."

"Well, with me you can have all the contact you want, you just have to wait for another opportunity. It's not good to have 4 girls angry with you at the same time." Seeing that the girl was a bit reluctant to let him go Aegon thought of something.

"What do you think if I visit you at your school tomorrow and we can chat more calmly. There you can explain everything you want to me. I was thinking of visiting Ororo anyway." Rogue just nodded and let Aegon go.

[IN THE CAFE AFTER AEGON LEFT]

"You saw that, I can touch it." Rogue was happy to finally find someone she didn't have to fear hurting.

"Ok, that boy just got a lot more interesting now." Emma wondered if his ability was the ability to block the abilities of others, but her words and the electricity generation she had shown Rogue made her hesitate. She would not have believed it a few years ago, but after joining the Hellfire Club, she Emma had discovered that magic was a real thing just like some myths and legends.

Logan who was a little worried seeing how happy he looked on Rogue's face just sighed hoping that what he had thought would not happen. If it happened he would have a very serious conversation with the boy. "I think the professor will be interested in meeting him."

"That's why I agreed to exchange our numbers, I didn't expect him to propose to visit the Academy himself."

"I'm telling you, that one will only get us into trouble." Scott mentioned that he felt they had ignored his presence all this time.

Jean tried to cheer him up. "Don't be like that Scott, he could be one of us. Come on now that we've found Rogue we can go back to the Academy." Then looking at Rogue. "Once we're back we have a lot to talk about how you don't trust your friends."

Rogue only sighed with regret when thinking how he would have to listen to Jean's constant complaints for having run away from her without saying anything. At the Academy Jean and Logan would be the closest to her.

"The day didn't turn out what she expected, maybe it turned out better who knows. Go well, Rogue it's a shame you're going back to play that Charles fantasy." Emma said no more and left.

The X-Men also decided to leave.

[WITH AEGON]

That was quite unexpected, but welcome. Just as I expected from future heroines, they're hot. I guess I'll be visiting the Mutant Academy quite often from now on. Next stop Peter's house.

When Aegon arrived at Peter's house, May told him that Peter had been out early to meet up with Ned and Cindy. Aegon spent some time chatting with May and enjoying one of her delicious cakes. After saying goodbye to May, he went to MJ's house, who received him with a smile on his face. MJ's mother who was at home watching the time decided to invite Aegon to have dinner with them. The woman was grateful for Aegon's help in getting her a high paying job and she hoped that her friendship with her daughter would grow into something more in the future.

"Dinner's still a little late, but I'm sure you'll find something to talk about in the meantime. Young people always have something to talk about." MJ's mother went into the kitchen.

"Come on let's sit on the couch, there are many things I want to ask you."

After sitting next to each other. "Well, what are those things you want to ask me?"

"Actually, it's just a question. Where have you been all day that none of us have been able to contact you!?" MJ was looking at him with a questioning look and some fury.

When Aegon heard MJ's question he remembered that he had turned off his phone when he went to have his little celebration. Scratching his head a bit and giving her a 'sorry' smile he tried to come up with an answer that might save him.

Putting on a serious face Aegon began. "I'm sorry, I was pretty busy and I turned my phone off to avoid interruptions, now that I'm listening to you I remember turning it on, I'm really sorry. If you don't mind you could wait until tomorrow and I'll explain to everyone what's going on. What do you think If tomorrow you and I have lunch with the girls at my friend's penthouse, so we'll all be there and I can tell you some things you need to know?"

Seeing that Aegon was being serious as he spoke MJ thought maybe something bad had happened. "Something happened?"

"Don't worry, nothing bad happened, but I do think it's important that we all have a conversation. So do you think you can wait until tomorrow?"

"It's okay." MJ answered relieved that nothing bad had happened. "I recommend you talk to the rest as soon as possible."

Aegon decided to listen to MJ and started calling the rest of the girls. He was apologetic for a long time, but the curiosity to know what he wanted to talk about appeased them a little.

Seeing that dinner still seemed to be late MJ took Aegon to his room where they continued talking and kissing for a while until MJ's mother told them that dinner was served.

While they were having dinner, the TV was on and a piece of news caught everyone's attention. A huge explosion had occurred at Stark Industries and some witnesses claimed to have seen robots fighting each other.

The rest of dinner was quiet, most of the time MJ's mom asking Aegon a question or two. Aegon had already told Helen that she would be having dinner at MJ's, but to avoid making her nervous he didn't wait until it was too late to go home.

The next day early in the morning Aegon asked Edward to put someone in charge of lunch with the girls. He told everyone that the penthouse was Edward's and it was legally so, but the truth is that Edward had never lived in it and it was for Aegon's exclusive use. With everything ready Aegon took a bottle of very expensive whiskey and decided to go to see a certain Academy.
