3 Years Later
…
It had been three years since Izuku encountered Muramasa, and though he never truly knew the man, his words had left a lasting impact on Izuku's heart. During these years, he devoted himself to training and adapting to Muramasa's body, even learning to create swords from nothing, thanks to Muramasa's power. While it was still early in his journey, Izuku believed that with time, he could master all of Muramasa's techniques.
The forest where Izuku first met Muramasa had become like a second home to him, as he spent countless hours training there. The trees bore witness to his progress, many cut or scratched from his intense practice.
However, Izuku faced a significant drawback; his swordplay skills were lacking. He couldn't wield swords effectively, just like Muramasa, who was actually a blacksmith with extraordinary talent in swordsmanship due to his host, Emiya Shirou. Izuku didn't have that advantage, and he couldn't risk revealing his true power by seeking swordplay training outside.
Even though he could have asked his mom to go to a Dojo and learn swordplay, he didn't want to risk others discovering his ability. Ever since he lost control of his powers, his mom had been constantly worried about him. Even after three years, Izuku still hadn't revealed his true power to her. He simply told her that his Quirk involved transformation and that he was slightly stronger as a result.
..
Sitting in a Lotus position, Izuku hesitated to use his quirk, still traumatized by the incident with Muramasa. He feared that his powers might harm him, which motivated him to train relentlessly to master his quirk.
"Alright, Don't fuck me over again, Let's go *Sigh* Please, don't blow up my body"
Closing his eyes, Izuku whispered, "Throne of Heroes."
As soon as he said that, Izuku felt as if someone had invaded his body, but unlike last time, he could clearly control it. He quickly grabbed a nearby mirror to check if his appearance had changed again. "Oh, thank God, I thought I might transform again."
"Ah, so you're the one who's been using the powers of a servant, huh? Although I hate your face, I like you, kid. But unfortunately for you, I'm not a swordsman; I use spears."
Hearing a voice in his head, Izuku turned around instantly, then sighed and asked, "Who are you?"
"Can't you tell? I'm the greatest spearman in Ireland, Cu Chulainn."
Izuku's eyes widened in amazement upon learning the true name of the Lancer, and suddenly, all of Cu Chulainn's abilities and powers flowed into him. He could feel it; it was as if he was Cu Chulainn himself.
Closing his eyes again, Izuku manifested the Spear in his hand. This was Gae Bolg, the legendary weapon. Although he had never used a spear in his life, he felt a strange familiarity with it, as if he were a veteran.
"What do you think, Master? Pretty good, eh? Now, let's go hunt some boars! HAHAHA!"
In response to Cu Chulainn's words, Izuku felt an urge to hunt. While there were no boars around, he knew the forest was known for having many bears. Lately, there had been too many bear attacks on people, so taking down a few would be justified.
Izuku leaped onto the trees and headed straight for a bear. He usually backed out when encountering one and returned home, but this time, he wanted to hunt.
Descending down a small cliff, Izuku spotted a bear trying to drink water. Without hesitation, he swiftly double-kicked the bear to the side, waiting for it to regain its footing.
"Well well, it's your unlucky day, Bear-san. Die," Izuku proclaimed.
The bear, now aware of the human's presence, lunged at Izuku with its claws. But Izuku effortlessly blocked the attack with his spear, displaying strength surpassing that of the bear. He then swung the spear in a downward arc, slashing the bear's arm before spinning the weapon behind him and thrusting it into the bear's heart.
The bear fell lifeless to the ground as Izuku stood there, contemplating his actions.
"Nice hunt, Master. Now, go prepare some fire. The meat won't cook itself," Cu's voice chimed in.
Confused, Izuku responded with a perplexed "Huh?"
"You want to eat it, right?" Cu inquired.
With a disgusted look on his face, Izuku replied, "No, what the heck, I don't want to eat a bear!"
"Then why did you kill it?" Cu questioned.
Izuku gazed at the bear and confessed, "I was getting used to your body."
"Master, don't kill animals if you don't plan to use them for sustenance or if you were in danger! Forget it! Bury it. I know you're adjusting to your newfound strength, but animals are important. Don't go around killing them just like that," Cu scolded.
Realizing that he had killed an innocent animal without reason, Izuku felt remorseful. Though not an animal rights advocate, he understood the importance of not taking life needlessly. He lowered his head and placed his hand on the bear's head, saying, "I'm sorry. I will honor you with a proper burial."
"It's okay, Master. You're still a kid, and you're learning. It looks like my time is up; you can only keep me for 10 minutes. As one of the best, that means you possess great power. Summon a Saber next time to better utilize Muramasa's powers," Cu advised before fading away.
Hearing Cu's words, Izuku finally understood that his servants were aware of each other. As the power left him and he returned to normal, he realized that he retained some of Cu Chulainn's Spearmanship abilities. "So I can keep some of my servant's abilities, huh? That was Cu Chulainn. I wonder why I wasn't surprised; I knew him from the anime. It's been 8 years since I heard of him. I probably forgot all the fate lore. Sigh Time to dig a hole, I guess."
