On the Road to Full Cowling! Uravity's Wisdom!

After school today, I made my way over to Ishimoto's house to see what exactly he could tell me about One For All, I'm certain he has notes over his own Father's Quirk. I hung about U.A. for a while before I left for his home. I landed down in in front of the front door and rang the doorbell. Ishimoto came to the door, he looked rather surprised to see me standing in front of him.

"O-Oh, Mabel! What are you doing here?" He wondered.

"I'm here to extract information from your brain, then leave for the motherland, can I come in?" I answered.

"Well, as long as you don't hurt me, come on in!" He chuckled.

He let me inside his house, I followed him upstairs to his room, he was an All Might geek just like Deku was! Not to mention the equal amount of Deku, Uravity, and Dynamight merchandise he had as well. I sat down cross-legged on his bed, he brought out his notebook and sat down next to me.

"So, what do you want to know?" He asked.

I pointed towards the page he stopped on, "As a matter of fact, you just stopped on him. Could you tell me more about your Dad's Quirk?"

"From everything he told me, it basically allows him to stockpile a huge amount of power throughout his body, increases pretty much every attribute he has! It's sort of similar to your Overdrive, except you don't ever break your bones if you use too much of it. Well, unless if you put it in just one part of your body, if I'm correct." Ishimoto explained.

"Yeah, that's what happened the other day, I sort of used my Overdrive in just two parts of my body. It basically breaks my bones once I land an attack, but it's pretty effective sometimes!" I remarked.

He sat there and thought for a bit, "Hey, maybe my Mom would know a lot more about it! You can ask her."

"Alright, thank you Ishi! I really appreciate you telling me what you know!" I smiled.

I got up from his bed and walked outside of his house, where would Mrs. Midoriya be at right now? I heard about a building collapsing about a few blocks away from here on Ishimoto's police radio. I took off towards that location, she has to be there! After just a couple minutes of flying, I looked down and saw things floating in the air, my assumption was correct! The police had taped the area off, so I couldn't land down neither actually walk into the scene. Once she finished saving the trapped civilians, I had the opportunity to talk to her.

"Hey, Uravity! Up here! Can I talk to you about something?" I shouted down to her.

She looked up at me, nodded, and gave me a thumbs up. I nodded back and took off towards a nearby rooftop. She floated up to the rooftop after I waited a couple of minutes for her.

"Hey, Mabel, what's up?" She wondered.

"Well... Do you know how Deku gave me his Quirk? Do you know anything else about it?" I responded.

"Hmm, I know quite a bit actually! What were you wanting to know?" Ochako smiled.

I crossed my arms, "I was wondering how I could increase my power from 10% to something higher. It's something that I've been stuck on for quite some time now."

"That's because you're overthinking it, sweetheart. Training is the easiest thing you can do to improve that threshold. Also, you can go beyond 10%, you know." She answered.

"Huh? I can?" I replied.

"Yep! Only up to about 25% though, which is still a good amount, you'll just be straining your body more since you technically shouldn't be using it at that percentage. You won't have to worry about breaking your bones unless you go 26% or above." Ochako continued.

"Oh, why didn't I think of that already? I had no idea I could go up that high! But just to be safe, I might work up to it instead of using it off the bat." I nodded.

"That sounds like a good idea, anything else you needed?" She responded.

I pulled a note out from my pocket, "C-Could... Could you give this to Ishimoto, please?"

She took it from me and looked at it without opening it. Mrs. Midoriya looked up at me with a smile.

"How adorable, is this a love letter?" She grinned.

"W-What?! No! It's just something I forgot to give him!" I answered quickly.

I felt my face heat up yet again, before she could say anything else, I took off back home. I hope Dad was home, he could definitely tell me more about this Quirk!

[15 Minutes Later...]

I entered my house through my front door, my Mother was watching the news, her eyes never left the screen. I walked forward, my heart practically sank to my stomach after I read the headline, it said "Massive Prison Break: Multiple Super Criminals Breach Tartarus". There in the middle of the mess of debris and destruction was a white, long-haired man, he stared up at the helicopter and directly into the camera. It looked like he mouthed "I'll see you soon." I saw Deku and Dad charge towards him but he disappeared out of thin air! How many people were freed from Tartarus? Ashi came downstairs from his usual after school nap.

"Mama, Mabel, what are you watching?" He wondered.

"It's nothing, Ashi, it's just a little commercial is all." Mom lied.

I took Ashi into the kitchen to get him something to eat, I saw Mom quickly change the channel out of the corner of my eye. I got him some peaches from the fridge and cut them up for him. I wonder what's going through Dad's head right now, especially with all of that happening? I gave Ashi his peaches, he started chomping down on them with insane speed!

"Hey, hey! Slow down there, you don't wanna get a tummy ache!" I laughed.

"Can I have more please?" Ashi asked.

I looked down at his bowl, it was completely clean! He walked over and held his bowl up as he stood on his tiptoes.

"Pleeeeaaase?" He squeaked.

"You really do have an appetite like Dad! Alright, I cut just one more up for you, okay?" I chuckled.

He nodded at me and went to go sit back down. I went to the fridge to grab another peach to cut up for him. I heard the front door open, I peered over to see who it was, it was Dad! He... I could tell by the way he looked that something was wrong.

"Papa, you're home!" Ashi beamed.

He knelt down and gave Ashi a hug, "Hey buddy, I'm glad to see you! How about you and Mabel go upstairs for a bit, huh?"

"Okay!" Ashi nodded.

I took Ashi up to his room, I closed his door and was about to go into mine until I heard Mom and Dad talk, I quietly hid behind the wall that led downstairs.

"So, what are we going to do? He's going to be out looking for both of them!" Mom worried.

"I know, Momo, we aren't going to let Shigaraki get a hold of her. Izuku and I talked about this while we were fixing Tartarus back up. Even Katsuki agrees that we need to stop this before it gets out of hand, the only problem is, I'm not sure where Shigaraki went. We caught most of the small time villains that were around the area, but most of the stronger ones we couldn't find." Dad responded.

"Alyx, I... I don't want her getting hurt, I don't want her to experience the things we did. The troubling part is that he'll search this entire planet for her, so we can't hide from him. We don't even know what he's capable of doing now, neither do we know how many Quirks he's obtained before we found him that second time." Mom sighed.

I couldn't believe my ears, I went back into my room and sat on my bed, I tucked my head into my knees and cried. I was just so scared about all of this, I didn't want someone to come after me to kill me. I heard my door open, Ashi peered his head inside.

"Mabel, are you okay? Why are you crying?" He questioned.

I wiped the tears from my eyes, "I-It's nothing... I'm okay."

Ashi walked into my room, he closed my door and made his way over to me. He climbed onto my bed and stood next to me. He used his shirt to wipe the tears from the left side of my face.

"Did you hear what Mama and Papa were talking about?" Ashi wondered.

I nodded at him, he stood there and stared, it looked like he was thinking of something. He grabbed my blanket off of my bed and tied it around himself.

"I'll help you just like Papa and Mama! What's the problem, ma'am? Do you wanna hug?" He announced in a hero-like voice.

"Sure, I'd love one." I slightly smiled and sniffled.

He gave me a hug that could've squeezed the life out of me if he was strong enough. We stopped hugging and he stood there with his hands on his hips.

"Do you want another one or are you okay?" He asked.

"I'll be fine, thank you, Ashi." I smiled.

He gave me another one anyway before heading back to his room, that at least made me feel a little better. What was I supposed to do? How could I even come up with a way to make sure that no harm comes to my family?

"Moshi Mosh!" I heard a woman's voice.

I looked to my right and saw a woman float in through my open window. She was wearing a really pretty haori that faded from turquoise to pink alongside a butterfly design. Her presence was extremely calming, and so was her gentle smile.

"May I ask who you are?" I questioned.

"Well, I can tell you have a bit more manners than your Father!" She chuckled.

I tilted my head a bit, "Woah, you know my Father?"

"Indeed, that I do. My name is Kocho Shinobu, it's a pleasure to finally meet you, Mabel Leonidus." She smiled.

My door opened and Dad walked in, "Hey, Mabel can you-"

Him and Shinobu made eye contact with each other. He smiled at her as he entered my room.

"Ms. Shinobu! It's a pleasure to see you again, how's Giyu and the others?" He greeted.

They carried on a conversation that I understood nothing of. Total Concentration Breathing, Hashira, Breathing Styles, what were they even talking about? Shinobu turned her head towards me and slightly laughed as she saw confusion riddled on my face.

"I see you haven't told her much about us, Alyx. I'm assuming she should know about Tanjiro and Nezuko, correct?" Shinobu wondered.

"Yes, I told her all of that already. She knows about them, Zenitsu, Kanao, Inosuke, and Aoi. Although she hasn't met them yet." Dad responded.

"Wait, I've got a question, are you Chou Kocho's Mother?" I chimed in.

She smiled and shook her head, "No, I've been dead for decades now, I don't have any children!"

T-Then... How was she here? I blinked a couple times as concern and even more confusion came across my face. What logical reason was there for her being present?

"I guess I've never told you about the Seventh Plane, huh?" Dad told me.

"The Seventh Plane? You've never told me about that, what is it?" I replied.

"The Seventh Plane is an area of space and time accessible to Overdrive users. It also resides those who are dead alongside other things. The time frame there is rather tricky, I was there for 5 months to train and it had only been 4 hours in the real world. I still haven't wrapped my head around the math on that, but it didn't age me physically nor mentally. Ochako told me that you were wanting to train more with your One For All, correct?" My Father explained.

I nodded at him, "I did! Could you both help me out with that?"

"Hmm... I'm not sure if I'd be much help, but I'm sure your Great Grandfather will!" Shinobu suggested.

"Alright, if that's the case, I'll take whatever amount of help I can get." I answered.

My Father outreached his hand, "Well, come on! We've got no time to waste!"

I took his hand and within seconds, the room around us turned into a white void. I looked around but saw nobody besides us two here.

"Ah, Alyx! Long time no see!" I heard a voice.

I saw a man walk over to us, he kind of looked like Dad! There was a woman alongside him as well.

"Mabel, this is your Great Grandfather, Tanjiro Kamado, and this right here is your Great Aunt, Nezuko Agatsuma." He introduced them.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Great Granddaughter!" Great Grandpa grinned.

"Likewise, it's a pleasure to meet you as well!" I bowed.

Great Grandpa looked over at my Father, "What brings you here, Alyx? Did you need something?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact, we do. Go on Mabel, tell him." Dad answered.

"So, I'd like some help with getting stronger with this Quirk. It was bestowed upon me by the number 2 Pro Hero Deku. My current limit is 10% but I can go up to a maximum of 25% without having to worry about breaking my bones, but it'll cause immense strain on me. Is there any sort of way that you could help me out with that?" I explained.

Great Grandpa and Aunt Nezuko sat there in thought for a bit before responding. Hopefully, this wasn't out of their area of expertise.

"What exactly are you trying to reach, Mabel?" Great Grandpa asked.

"Well, I'd like to at least get up to 25%. I tried spreading it all throughout my body but I wasn't able to keep a hold of it for long. If... If I'm going to protect my family from Shigaraki, I need to at least be able to maintain control of One For All completely." I told him.

"Hmm... Alright, I'm certain that learning Total Concentration Breathing should help speed that process up just a bit, it might make it even easier! What do you say, you wanna give it a shot?" He smiled.

I nodded eagerly, if this would help me out, I won't hesitate to try it!

[6 Months Later... (Seventh Plane Time)]

We've been here... For six whole months... At least Great Grandpa and Aunt Nezuko have a house that they stay in with Uncle Zenitsu and Great Grandma! This Total Concentration Breathing stuff definitely was hard, but I've gotten a hang of it! I've managed to do it while I'm sleeping as well. Which surprised everyone, especially Dad, since it took him quite some time to do that!

"Okay Mabel, try it out now, you should be able to spread One For All throughout your body now." Dad instructed.

I nodded and closed my eyes, taking my deep breaths in and out. It felt much easier than when I did it a couple days ago in the real world. After a few seconds, I heard a small explosion of energy, I opened my eyes to find that I was actually maintaining it! I moved around with great speed, this was really fun! I landed down on the ground after delivering a high kick in the air.

"Awesome! You did amazing!" Aunt Nezuko complimented.

"Thank you, Aunt Nezuko!" I beamed.

"Alright, let's see how much you can go up to now." Dad chimed in.

Suddenly, his hair faded into white, a "V" shaped symbol appeared on his forehead. His eyes were now an icy white, this looked really cool!

"Woah, what is that?" I asked.

"This... Is Infinite Mode. It looks like this now because my Quirks were awoken during a tournament when I was a Second-Year at U.A. I'm sure you'll reach this form eventually, now, test out your strength on me. Don't worry about holding back, I can take it." My Father smirked.

I nodded and upped my power to 25%, I didn't feel strained at all! I went into Gear Two before charging straight towards Dad, I reeled my fist back and threw a strong punch at him. My fist somehow missed him, how'd he dodged something like that, I was moving faster than what he could possibly see! I threw another strike but he dodged that as well, I hopped backwards, this was astonishing!

"Incredible, I couldn't land a single hit on you! Man, I've got quite a long ways to go, huh?" I grinned.

"That you do, it'll be quite the road, let me tell you. You'll get there eventually, I haven't got a single doubt in my mind." He smiled.

His hair faded back to it's natural color, the same with his eyes. I walked over to Dad as he told me that we were heading back to the real world. I gave Great Grandpa and Aunt Nezuko a hug before leaving. The white void around us turned back into my room.

"Phew! That was pretty fun! I got some training in as well, hopefully your Mother doesn't find out." Dad chuckled.

Both of us stood still as we felt a looming presence standing behind us. We both slowly turned our heads to see Mom standing behind us with her arms crossed.

"Hi... Honey..." Dad squeaked.

"Where were you two?" She questioned.

"In here silly! Where else would we be?" Dad nervously laughed.

Mom looked down at her side, "Ashi, do you mind telling me what you told me earlier?"

"Uh huh! Papa and Mabel weren't here! I came back to give Mabel her blankey but she was gone! I couldn't even find you either, Papa." Ashi spoke up.

We were in deep shit now, thanks Ashi... We both received one well placed thwack to the head from a wooden spoon.

"O-Owch! Why'd you do that for!" Dad whined.

"Because you didn't tell me where you were going! You had me worried sick that something happened to you two!" Mom argued.

"Y-Yeah... But wouldn't you have heard it if someone tried to kidnap us?" I asked.

"I doubt so if it was a villain with a teleportation-like Quirk." She answered.

After healing my sore head, Dad and I followed Mom and Ashi downstairs to eat dinner. I was super excited to head back to school, I couldn't wait to show everyone what I was able to do now! I still had a long way to go though, I needed to keep on training until I can use 100% of this power, then I can finally be able to confront Shigaraki! At least, I hope...
