Ashley P.O.V.

My name is Ashley I am one of the air hostess here to help make your journey enjoyable for the next 10 hours.(Ashley the light by seat D10 is on, thank you Tom I will go see if the passenger needs anything) Hello sir would you like some tea or coffee? Hello Ash I haven’t seen you in such a long time. James Charles wow I haven’t seen you in over 5 years. How have you been? I am well thanks I called you here because I wanted to have some coffee please just the way you used to make for me. Sure James I will see what I can do.

Ashley all good? The passenger in D10 was he misbehaving with you? Do you want me to serve him the next time he calls for you? Oh Tom slow down I can only answer one question at a time. 1: yes I am fine. 2: no the passenger wasn’t misbehaving with me. He is an old school friend of mine which is why I took much longer to come back here. 3: I am making the coffee that he wanted and finally 4: there is no need for you to take the seats on my side of the plane because he will not need anything else once he has his morning coffee.

James your coffee just the way you like it. Thank you Ash. As I reach my seat in the back with my cabin crew

(Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking, please put on your seat belts as we are making an emergency landing we will be having an hour transit we truly apologies for the inconvenience )

Oh no James has a fear of planes I need to go to him to calm him down please Tom I know this is against protocol but I have to sit in the spare seat next to him that is the only way I will be able to stop his phobia else he will start to have panic attack. Last time this happened he was 12 years old. Up till this day the incident that happened scares him. Ashley it’s okay you don’t have to explain anything to me I understand you may go just make sure that no one notices you, here take your normal clothes and change quickly that way even if someone does see you they won’t recognise you.

James I came to sit in the spare seat next to you. Thank you Ash I really appreciate this but I hope that you do not get into trouble for being here? James I spoke to my supervisor. He was the one who gave me permission as well as told me to change so no one will recognise me.

James P.O.V

I can’t believe after so many years I am meeting Ashley again. I am so proud of her, she always wanted to fly with the birds and now her dream came true she gets to fly just like a bird ,travel, meet new people and explore every corner of the world making new memorable adventures each day. I hear Ashley say my name as I turn towards her. James I came to sit in the spare seat next to you. Thank you Ash I really appreciate this but I hope that you do not get into trouble for being here? James I spoke to my supervisor he was the one who gave me permission as well as told me to change so no one will recognise me.

So Ash how are you and the family last I spoke to you , you were inviting me for your engagement party. How is Roger? James he is no longer in my life. Really why? Well he never wanted me to follow my heart, he knew that being an air hostesses has been my dream job he even agreed to let me study but as soon as I got the job he refused to let me work. He wanted me to be a stay at home wife and follow all his rules. He knew that I get paid more than him which hurt his ego and since I refused to be a couch potato he made me choose either him or my career. Oh James I can’t tell you how much I love this job I know in my heart that I made the right choice when I saw the excitement on the faces of the children I met. They give me a special kind of joy, It’s as if I am giving a child a gift for Christmas. The way their eyes light up when they ask me about the places that I have been too.

Ashley you made the right decision. I am so happy and proud of you. I just wish you spoke to me sooner. So James are you on a business or personal trip today? This is a very important business trip, do you remember your class girl Nia well she got married yesterday to my brother Roy. Nia and Roy wanted a destination wedding so they booked a hotel in the Bahamas , the after party was moved to Miami. Nia called your number so many times to invite you but you never answered did you change your number. Yeah about that my phone was stolen and I had to block that number since it was connected to all my accounts, I didn’t want someone to misuse it. I didn’t have Nia’s number or even yours to get all our friends numbers back

James you said you are on a business trip so how long will you be staying in New York? I should be there for 3 days. When are you flying back? Tomorrow night. It would have been nice if you stayed longer we could have caught up on the wedding. (landing) That would have been nice here, hold my hand the plane is starting to descend. Thank you Ash I honestly do not know how I would have managed if you were not here with me. You are welcome I need to get back to work but since we are in transit for a while I can give you company.
