Chapter 42

Norvyn woke me up once again and he didn't leave the room until he knew that I would really go downstairs.

I grumbled as I sat down on the chair. Norvyn poured a glass of chocolate milk and gave it to me. I mumbled a thanks and sipped on it. It's sweet. 

I just noticed that our breakfast today are waffles.

"Good morning my boy." papa said. He was reading a newspaper on his watch. A beam of light was coming out of it which creates transparent pictures.

When he noticed me watching him and looking at what he's doing, he smiled. "It's still a beta version, though it seems it's working fine but not good enough."

I looked at him, deadpanned. I really don't care. 

Papa hummed. "You seem a little bit... Grumpy."

I scoffed. Little bit is an understatement. I am pissed. My precious sleep was taken away from me. 

"I heard the crash, you know? This is the first time you did this. That's why you shouldn't have waited for me and slept so late."
