Disguise

Marching slowly with nervous cat paw steps, Czar was guiding terrified Eva towards the small back door of the mansion. He was looking around everywhere, monitoring the situation before letting her step inside.

There were several guards marching in the yard at the front of the mansion, so they were trying hard to escape from their sight. Following him, she was gulping her saliva, breathing quite hard.

As they were about to sneak inside, all of a sudden Czar halted his motion in front of a small quarter located at the back of the yard. It seemed to be a petite calm resting area or a separate place specially set up there for some purpose.

"What happened now? Why did you stop here?" She whisper-shouted at him, unable to hold back her anxiety. 

With a frown face, he shifted his gaze towards her and answered in a deep note, "this is a separate leisure area for the maids of our mansion. Judging by this time, everyone must be busy serving inside our mansion so the quarter must be definitely desolated."

"So? What it has to be with me? Wh-Why are you telling me all these?" Frowning her eyebrows, she inquired him.

He was holding a stiff gesture and slowly took a peek around them before responding to her further. "Go inside the maid's quarter and quickly groom yourself as a maid. Remember, we don't have much time to waste. Dress up in 15 minutes. That's the way I have to take you inside in disguise." 

"What? Dressed up as a maid? But why didn't you tell me about it earlier?" She scoffed at him in a perplexed tone as the sudden addition in his plan puzzled her quite badly.

"I don't have much time to bicker here with you. If you can't do it, just back off." Growling in a deep voice, he sounded much vexed and tried to depart away from her, turning his back against her.

"Wait a moment!" Immediately Eva grabbed his arm to stop him from leaving and sighed out deep. "I...I never said that I can't do it... But... How can I just go inside an unknown place and dress up as a maid? I... I am feeling scared with these alternations. What if I get caught here inside this quarter?" She murmured.

Breathing out in a huff, Czar slowly turned behind to face her and kept ogling at her for a few seconds. "Then do you want me to come along with you and help in dressing you up? Well, I don't mind such naughty solutions--"

"For heaven's sake can you just stop suggesting me such pervert ideas? I have swooned in fear from inside!" She interrupted him in a heavy voice, unleashing her grip from his sturdy hand.

Czar tried to tease her a little as she was looking much troubled in anxiety but watching her getting more vexed, he didn't kid furthermore. "Relax. I know each and every detailed thing about this mansion. Stop overthinking and go hurry up, pick up a dress. It's the only way you can enter inside. Also, you have only 15 minutes limitation for it."

Lowering her head in a perplexed manner, she pouted her face before walking towards the quarter. As she was about to leave, slowly she took a glimpse at him with her sharp, deep brown eyes. "Don't you dare think of betraying me here... Wa-Wait here for me... Don't leave me alone." 

Czar smirked a little with her blunt commendation and didn't utter a single word. As she marched inside, his dark black mystic eyes were fixed intensively on her from behind. 

"It's the very first time... someone asked me to wait for her. I wonder how strange she is!" He thought with a small unknown smile lingering on his lips.

A few minutes passed by with Czar monitoring the yard alone while waiting for Eva. With each passing minute, he was growing more and more anxious, impatient, and fretful for her. 

Soon, his wait was over as the door opened and hurriedly he shifted his gaze towards that direction. A beautiful lady with long shimmering black hair and porcelain white bright skin, wearing a black dress with white trim, and a full skirt above knee-length came walking out of the quarter with nervous slow steps.

In such a disguise, Eva seemed extremely different compared to earlier. She was also wearing a white half-apron, designed with ruffled lace. Also, she wore a sort of ruffled hairband on the top of her head, which all over blended with her natural beauty bestowed her an attractive and charming appearance.

Czar couldn't take off his eyes away from her as dressed up in such an attractive outfit, outshined her beauty drastically. She was nervously gazing around the yard while his eyes were gawked upon her, scanning her from head to toe.

"You... Why do you look so beautiful?" Unknowingly he blurted out, with an intense voice.

"I am in no mood for your applause." Eva sounded much agitated from her stiff posture and monitored her dress once with a restless posture. "I can't believe, even these maids here get to wear such a fancy maid costume. It even looks quite expensive too. I am thankful to find a spare outfit inside luckily. Gosh, what a distressing situation I am in!" She was whining on her own with a disgruntled expression imprinted on her face.

But he still couldn't take his eyes off her as if his eyes gawked magnetically towards her beauty. His own strange behavior baffled him a bit as started to wonder on his own.

"What the heck? Why does she seem so beautiful to me now? I...I have to spend moments with countless beautiful maidens but...why does she seem so different than the rest being dressed up as an ethereal beauty? Maybe... Maybe it's because of such a fancy costume. Yes, it's all happening due to the costume. Why would such a powerful beta like me ever find a mere powerless human as her beautiful? That's nonsense." His internal conflicts kept puzzling his mind badly.

"Can you please stop looking at me like that? I did whatever you asked me to do. So, we can go ahead, right? I am already feeling embarrassed about wearing such a costume! I want to get over all these soon." She whisper-shouted at him, trying to regain his consciousness as he seemed lost somewhere from his display.

"Uh...ye-yes." Confused and perplexed, he responded to her in a low voice.
