Jenny?

It had been four days after my eighteenth birthday. I walked out of the water with my hair dripping wet and the water rolling off my body like a nylon surface.

"How was your swim Butterfly?." She asked me with a smile on her face as she handed me a bottle of carbonated drink.

My fingers wrapped around the plastic bottle, I picked up the towel she had in her hand and used it to dry my wet skin.

"Are you sure you don't wanna go for a dip in the water?." I asked her.

She looked at me, who was seated beside her. "The only water I wanna dip in, is the water your body creates when it's at its peak."

I choked on my drink the moment I heard her words, I stared at her in shock. I began to feel the tingling sensation she made me feel each time she flirted or made sexual advances towards me.

I looked around and it was just Trevor and his girlfriend except us at the beach. I pressed my body against hers and she quietly listened to my body.

Jenny laid on her back while I kissed her passionately, her arms wrapped around my waist while I kept trying to balance my petite body compared to her body.

"Aren't you just full of surprises?" She chuckled the moment I broke our kiss.

"Mavis?." I fell off balance the moment I heard that voice.

That was it, that was exactly how my summer ended.

I raised my head up to see the name of the college. I straightened my back. I was fond of wearing my hair down on my shoulders in memory of my forbidden love.

I placed the first foot into campus and felt the wind blowing in my direction. Each step I took I glanced around, making a mental note of the landmarks just in case I lost my way around.

"Hi!. You must be new here!." I turned my body to the sweetly spoken words of a girl.

"Yes I am." I nodded and began motion immediately as my words stumbled out of my mouth.

"I am Lillian Mick, you are?." She followed me, taking short quick steps while she tried to keep up with my pace.

"Not important." I rolled my eyes.

"Are you a vampire?." My eyes widened at her words.

I had not been asked the creature I was since I was four and that was Annie when she first came to live with me and my father.

Without speaking, I walked into the hallways of the school. I had been walking for a few minutes without the knowledge of my destination when a soft gentle laughter kissed my ears. I felt a tugging pain in my heart when I remembered the girl who once sounded just like that to my weird jokes.

"Mavis?." It could only be a dream to hear such a voice.

I turned around and met the greatest disappointment of my life.

"Silver…" I stuttered.

Silver immediately stopped her conversation with a few other girls who stood around her having a conversation, they all stared at me puzzled as to who I might be . Her movement was as I remembered. Her arms wrapped around me gently and pulled me into her embrace.

"I thought you were human." I said to her,

"No way!!, I know you weren't the moment I saw you kiss…"

"Jenny." I completed her statement and she nodded.

Jenny…, it's been a year since I last laid my eyes on her. It felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders just by seeing her though my heart has grown heavier just by seeing her, how was I expected to stay away from someone I desperately love and desire to be next to every second of the day.

I stared at her beautiful diamond eyes as she directed me to the administrators office.

"Thanks Jen, I mean Silver." I gave her a half baked smile as I quickly made my way down the hallway and disappeared amongst the crowd of busy students.

"You will marry the next Alpha of the blood moon pack!!, there is no one else out there for you!, including that Witch of a girl!." The words of my grandmother sent shivers down my spine.

I walked mindlessly towards the admins office.

"How can I help you?." She asked me while looking at me through the top of her slim glasses.

Her hands moved on the computer while her eyes stared at me.

"I am a freshman?..." I told her.

"Here you go!, don't get lost!." She sighed. "I am tired of missing students!!." She grumbled. "And here is your house number!, now leave!!." She yelled her last words.

I walked the entire campus looking for the house number (C429), I could feel my heart beat growing faster, sweat dropped down the edge of my forehead while my posture was ruined out of exhaustion. Each creature that walked past me seemed like a blood bag awaiting my fangs to be sunk into them.

"Hi…" I tried calling out to the passerby who instantly heard my cracked voice.

"Hungry Vamp!." She called me and she wasn't wrong.

I nodded to her statement. "Mhm…, do you know where apartment (c429) is located?." I asked her.

"Yes, it's right down the left corner of this hallway, the first room." She smiled at me, showing her fangs as a message that we were one tribe.

I nodded at her, acknowledging her gesture. "Thank you." I said.

There I was standing at the front door of apartment (C429) . I swallowed my saliva hard while trying to catch my breath. I raised my hand slightly above my shoulder and knocked on the door.

The door came open at my second attempt.

"Jenny?."
