Li Fei turn to Tang Yu. "Let's prepare ourselves, arm your men and provide them with enough food and medicines. We will need them, trust me. Meet me in front of my mansion in one ho– I mean, one small incense stick to burn. Tell your henchmen to change their clothes, dress like a beggar should be."
Tang Yu nodded.
Without further ado, the carpenter lady went outside and explained the plan to their henchmen who had been waiting for almost an hour.
Li Fei and Yulan returned to the mansion.
Yulan prepared the provisions, decent clothings, medicines and also bandages inside her storage pouch. Yulan had a strong hunch that they would encounter many wounded people in there.
Aylan, on the other hand, brought out Peng Lao's Dragon Spear that was locked inside the weapons' cabinet for years. The spear looks so plain and there's nothing special with it. However, it was forged by Peng Lao's himself out of a meteorite. A High-grade weapon!
"A warrior, once again." Li Fei murmured under his breath as he gripped the handle, reminiscing Peng Lao's memory when he was young rascal of the Nine Claws Sect and wreak havoc in the entire Hu Province.
Not so long after, Ruowei knocked the door and speaks calmly. "Master. They are here."
"En. I'll meet them in a minute." Li Fei replied stoically.
"Be careful." Aylan pecks his cheek and hugs her twin sister briefly.
"Stay here, never open the gates to anyone before we return.
"Naturally, Master." Aylan snuggles into the crook of his neck for one last time before she send them off.
Right at midday, a few dozens man donned in shabbiest clothings they could came up with, gathered in front of House of Phoenixes' front gates, led by the badass carpenter lady. Who would've ever thought that this brash woman was actually a low-key expert?
Li Fei opens the gates, followed by Yulan who walks two steps behind him, they also wore the modest attires they could find in order to blend in with the environment.
"Are we ready?" Li Fei asked.
Tang Yu smirking. "That we are, Master Peng Lao."
"Good." Li Fei nodded. "Let's do it silently and as stealthy as possible. We don't want to wake up the rat before we could corner him. Dismissed!"
After that one command, those men disappear after one kick to the ground, leaving a trail of flying dust in every direction.
Afterward, Li Fei, Tang Yu and Yulan went to the Slum District unassumingly and located a sewer's entrance that would led them directly into the Inner Sanctum.
As they pressed further onward into the dark tunnel, the putrid stench of waste and ammonia welcomed their nostrils.
Yulan clearly inexperienced to this kind of things but she's somewhat able to handle herself pretty well.
Tang Yu, on the other hand, she didn't even flinched by the time she encountered a huge python. Luckily, it's just regular python, with just a single squeeze of her well toned limbs, the snake pose no threat any longer.
After exchanging a nod, they continued inward and arrived at the intersection. Li Fei noticed a faint Demonic Qi from up ahead. He instinctively lay his back flat against the wall and was followed by the two.
"Sentries. Two men. Judging by the thickness of their aura… They are still in Meridians Opening Stage. But there's a possibility that they're suppressing their Qi. We need to thread this carefully." Li Fei speaks in low whispers.
"Can we just bonk their heads with my hammer?" Said the brash woman, taking out her weapon from her storage pouch.
"And alerting the other sentries? No can do. I have a better idea." Yulan remarked softly.
Li Fei frowned his eyebrows as Yulan began to loosen up her clothes, revealing her smooth and bountiful bosoms.
"Are you fucking serious?! It's not the time to be horny!" Tang Yu was clearly flabbergasted.
"Watch and learn." Yulan quipped back, smiling confidently.
Afterward, Yulan strode onto the two sentries in a very seductive way as well as, making her appearance to looks like a meekish and submissive woman. Her scrumptious-looking melons bounces up and down as she walk closer.
Not only that, Yulan also deployed a charm art to make them completely fall into her trap.
As the two sentries were engrossed onto the fair pair of mountains with a flawless valley of dreams in the middle, Yulan pulled a pair of daggers from her storage pouch, she stabs their throats and pierced through the back of their heads, disconnecting their spinal cords in one go.
Even Li Fei unconsciously rubbing his neck as the blood spurts out of their veins.
"Heavens!" Tang Yu was shocked to witness Yulan's vicious persona. "What in the seven hells did you taught her to do, Master Peng Lao?"
Li Fei shrugged his shoulders. "Don't ask me. I was bedridden for ten years."
After that, Yulan returned to her normal facade, trotted back to Li Fei's side after she wiped out the blood from her hands and face.
"Are you good?" Li Fei asked, rubbing her cheeks gently.
"Never better. Let us continue."
Li Fei plopped his hands on top of her hair. He noticed that her hands were shaking. It's not an everyday occurrence for a delicate woman like her to kill two men in one fell swoop.
Some affectionate hugs and kisses later, they stumbled upon five sentries, dragging half-conscious women by their hair. Two of them were still considerate enough to brought the women on their shoulders.
According to the intels that Ye Rui provided to them, those sentries were about use them in their private quarters after exchanging them with a hefty amount of Contribution Points.
"These bastards!" Tang Yu's nostrils fuming with hot air.
However, before she could even made a move, Li Fei was already gone from where he stands. A few seconds later, he was already in his killing spree mode. Showing no mercy to his opponent and delivers a quick swift death before they could even react.
