Chapter One Hundred and Fifty Eight

Third Person POV

Anna have prepared the necessary documents for them to travel to Norway where Paul is hiding. She lied to her husband that she is going to visit her parents because she don't want her husband to be aware of what she is up to. Evans and Anna are set to travel tomorrow morning, so that they can have enough time to rest and start to trace Paul the next day. Evans on his own part is happy that he got the opportunity to travel outside the country for the first time but he have to keep it low cause he don't want Anna to have another reason to insult him.

They arrived at their destination and checked into a hotel, Evans want to go out and look around but he remember Anna who is in the next room and also strolling is not the reason why they are here. Anna is inside her hotel room going through the papers she print out at the last minute which have the address where Paul is staying now. She intend to start tailing Paul from tomorrow so that she will be able to know her schedule and know the right time to approach him cause she have only one week to stay here.

The morning of the next day, Anna is already prepared to go for the reason that brought her here. She stepped out of her room and walked to the next room and knocked on the door but the person behind the door is still in deep slumber. Anna raised her eyebrows in anger, this is unbelievable that imbecile is still sleeping by this time, is he not aware that time is precious on their side? She mused. She continued knocking nonstop, Evans who heard the knock from the first time decided to ignore it cause he still want to sleep but it seems like whoever it is on the other side is not to give up.

Evans stood up from the bed determined to give whoever it is that is on the other side his piece of mind, he can't believe that someone will have the gut to disturb this early. Evans stomped to the door and forcefully opened it but his words were cut short when he saw the person standing before him and glaring at him. Evans quickly composed himself cause he have totally forgotten that he is here with Anna on a mission to find the man who have answers to Anna quest for revenge.

Good morning Anna just give me two minutes I will be out, Evans said immediately and closed the door cause he is not ready to be scolded by Anna this morning. Anna was still fuming when Evans come out of his room, she is still fuming until they reached where they will sit down and pretend to be tourist that way nobody will suspect them. Anna decided to calm down cause she don't see any reason why she have to be mad at that idiot.

They were sitting down there pretending to be interested in their environment, when Paul come out of one of the apartment in the area. Anna was surprised at how healthy and good looking that Paul is now, the money we gave him must be really working wonders on his body but that will of course stop if she find out that he double crossed them. They stood up and follow Paul everywhere he goes while pretending to be tourists taking pictures. They continue this for two more days before they agreed it's time to bring Paul in for some questions.

Paul who have been in this side of the country for five months without any hitch was so happy that he is able to start afresh and also comfortable at that not knowing that all that is about to change soon. Paul was coming out of his house in the morning to go to work as usual but he got the shock of his life when he saw Anna Black standing in front of his house with no expression on her face. Paul is already sweating profusely seeing the lady in front of him with a man beside her who have that "there is nothing good about me" aura.

Paul heard that the Black's lost the competition because of the same reason he tried to warn Melvin about. When he heard that he was glad that he left the country the moment he received his money, thinking that he is free from all that but seeing this woman before him with that expressionless face tells him that this means trouble. The man beside Anna who Paul have never see before in his life gestured for Paul to enter the car they came with. Which Paul obliged cause he don't want to cause any scene and even if he did nobody is ready to pay attention to him cause everyone around is minding their own business.

Anna drive them to a lonely place that look like a junkyard, Evans looked at Anna and shook his head cause is very obvious that she have more crook mind than him. Paul eyes widened when he saw the place they brought him, he have watch a lot of movies and he know that when someone is brought to this kind of place it always resulted to the person dying. Evans gulped when he saw Anna pulled out a gun, he can't believe what he is seeing when did she get a gun, Evans made a mental note to be careful of this woman and try to stay on his lane.

Paul I need to know why we lost that competition cause I can remember you are the one we hired to modify the work, so why are you not able to dictate that there is a problem with the blueprints, Anna asked looking intently at him while pointing the gun at him. Paul is already shaking when the gun was pointed at him, he quickly in a shaking voice explain everything that happened to Anna. Anna was surprised to hear that her husband was warned but he was adamant about it but she remembered something that Paul said, "there is no way to modify that particular problem cause the design is meant to be that way". That only means that the design was intentionally given to them.
