Christine said with a challenging tone, making William blink in surprise at the woman's shameless attitude. "Yes, I have been searching for you," William replied calmly, his eyes fixed on her face. "You entered my room, after all. Now tell me who you really are." "I'm Christine, a passer-by. Since you've spread all over my face everywhere, you have to take responsibility!” Christine said, smiling sweetly. "Responsibility? What do you mean?" William asked, looking confused. "Marry me!" Christine declared boldly. "Why do you think I would marry you?" William asked, frowning in disbelief that a woman would have the audacity to ask him to marry her. "Because I'm beautiful, cute, and sexy?"

"What? Did you say something?" asked William when he thought he heard Christine say something.

"Ah, not really. It's nothing," Christine said, changing her facial expression back to a smile as she looked at the man in front of her.

Christine's eyes then saw the plates that were now neatly arranged on the table. She didn't know what it was all called because she had never seen it before. However, at the very least, Christine knew that it was food eaten by humans.

Christine was starting to feel nervous and a little anxious at the sight of something that might kill her if she ate it.

"Calm down, Christine. Don't be so nervous!" thought Christine, trying to calm herself down.

"Ahem."

William suddenly started clearing his throat. He didn't know what made the woman speechless at the food in front of them, but what William knew was that if they didn't eat the food soon, it would turn cold and taste less appetizing.

"Let's eat together," William said, repeating his earlier words.

"And… you should just sit over there, not here," William said, pointing his head at the chair at the end of the table.

Actually, it didn't matter if Christine wanted to sit on his right instead of sitting at the end of the table. However, William felt that he really couldn't enjoy his food if she was around. He would be too nervous and awkward.

"No, I'll sit here," Christine said firmly. "And… about the food…" Christine tried to rack her brain to find an excuse not to touch the food.

"I'm fine. I'm not hungry," Christine said, her sweet smile doing little to conceal her apprehension.

However, William knew that was completely untrue. He had heard that Christine had not eaten for three days now, so he was going to make her eat now.

"No, you have to eat," William said in a firm tone.

To be honest, William himself didn't know why he had to bother like this. Whether Christine eats or not doesn't really matter, right?

However, for some reason… something was bothering him.

Ah, yes! This Woman was his esteemed guest! It was only natural for him to ensure her utmost comfort during her stay!

"I'm fine," answered Christine, who was still smiling and didn't want to give up.

William didn't answer and just stared at Christine with a hardened face and a look he didn't want to deny. However, William's hardened expression did little to deter Christine's boldness. She locked eyes with him, meeting his gaze with unwavering confidence. A sly smile crept across her lips as she even dared to throw a seductive wink his way. The tension in the air was palpable as the two engaged in this silent battle of wills.

William let out a defeated sigh and averted his gaze from Christine's shameless stare. How could she be so bold and daring towards him? It was like she was challenging him on purpose.

There is no woman who dare to do it to him like what Christine just does now.

Frustrated, he rose from his seat and started sifting through the dishes laid out on the table. Instead of the usual pre-plated food, William had requested the royal chef to prepare a variety of dishes, unsure of Christine's preferences.

As William's hands moved gracefully over the spread of food, Christine's eyes followed his every move. She was intrigued by the man's refined mannerisms, even in the way he selected his food. It was almost like watching a predator choose its prey.

"Look at him. Choose which food might be delicious. Looks like humans are not that far from us," Christine thought when she saw William's expression that looked a little troubled.

Even though Christine had never hunted humans before, she at least knew that not all humans tasted very good, so it did take a process of being selective.

"Here," William said, suddenly placing his plate in front of Christine and taking the empty plate that was there.

"I know you don't want to eat, but I can't finish all this food alone. It seems the royal chef made too much of it," said William, shifting his gaze and trying to maintain his demeanor.

"I told you I…"

William suddenly went straight and took food for himself. He knew that it was pointless to argue with the woman since she seemed really stubborn. Well… he was also getting hungry.

After placing the various foods on his plate, he returned to his seat and immediately picked up a piece of succulent roasted meat and savored the taste as he chewed slowly, relishing the flavors that exploded in his mouth.

He deliberately avoided looking at Christine, determined to maintain his composure and not give in to her seductive smile. Yet, as he ate, his thoughts drifted to her, wondering how she could resist the tantalizing aroma of the sumptuous meal before her.

"I know she is still grieving over my mother's death. However, she had not eaten for three days. There's no way she won't be tempted to eat the royal chef's food," he mused to himself, a smirk forming on his lips.

The tantalizing aroma of the food had been tempting him since it was served. He wondered if Christine, who hadn't eaten for three days, could resist the temptation.

He is so sure she couldn't do it.

William continued to eat his food gracefully, following the impeccable etiquette he had been taught since birth.

When the time had passed for about 10 minutes, William couldn't help but steal glances at Christine.

He expected her to relish the food, but she surprised him by propping up her chin and staring at him intently without even touching her plate.

"W-Wait! Why haven't you eaten and haven't touched your food?!" asked William who was completely at a loss for words when he saw Christine who just stared at him.

Christine's sweet smile remained unwavering as she replied, "I told you, I'm not hungry." Her gaze never leaving William's face.

"But you haven't eaten for three days!" said William, who subconsciously raised his voice. It felt like he couldn't maintain his composure when he was with that woman.

"I'm full," replied Christine, unperturbed by William's sudden outburst.

"Hah?" William's face turned confused hearing that. He had clearly gotten the information that Christine had not eaten for three days.

"Watching you eat so heartily fills me up," Christine said, leaning in close to William and giving him a wink. The mischievous glint in her eyes made William's heart skip a beat.

"You know, maybe there's something else you can feed me?" asked Christine who deliberately made her voice sound very sexy.

Honestly, Christine was screaming inside for doing this with her food! However, what else can she do? She didn't know when she would be able to see William again. So, today she was truly going all out.

"Ahem. What's that?" asked William trying to keep his composure in front of a woman who was unlike any other he had ever met before.

"Your…" Christine didn't immediately answer, choosing instead to let a seductive smile slowly spread across her lips, and the look in her eyes grew more alluring.

"Wait," William cut in quickly before Christine could finish her words.

"I'll give you whatever you want later, but not before you eat your food!" William said while trying to keep his tone steady and let out a small smile that did not reach his eyes..

William's hand swiftly took the spoon from Christine's plate and scooped up a mouthful of the scrumptious food. He then raised the spoon to her lips and insisted, "Just three spoons, and I'll grant any of your wishes."

His tone was assertive yet tender, determined to make sure his guest ate and enjoyed the meal.

William couldn't comprehend why Christine was hesitant to eat such delicious food. He was willing to negotiate and bargain with her to achieve his goal.

Besides, it was a small request, only three spoonfuls of food in exchange for whatever Christine desires. It was a win-win situation for both of them.

And, William is so sure he can give whatever food Christine wants. After all, that woman seems picky with her food and asks him to feed her something else.

Christine fell silent when she heard William's words. Her heart was pounding, and her face was clearly a bit nervous because William was forcing her to eat her food.

She almost rejected it outright since she really can't eat the food, but a small voice inside her head whispered, "This could be your chance."

"If I eat three spoons… are you really going to give me anything?" Christine asked, her eyes fixed on William's.

William nodded confidently. As a Crown Prince, he could give any food that Christine want.

"Okay! I'll eat three spoons. Instead… Marry me!"

The second proposal xD
