Mummy, where is daddy?

Life can be full of twists and turns, ups and downs. Sometimes it can feel like everything is going right, but other times it can feel like nothing is going our way. But what happens when it feels like life has truly given up on us? This was the question facing Lia Thompson after she caught her boyfriend cheating on her with her best friend. Drinks in hand, she barged into a private room at the Satellite Hotel, where she was confronted with a group of men - one of whom stood out as particularly handsome. In a fit of anger and sadness, she asked the man, "Handsome man, how much would you charge for a night?" To her surprise, the man responded, "Do you think you can afford it?" But she was determined to prove him wrong, and soon found herself in a room with him, her clothes in disarray. The next day, when the fog of alcohol cleared, Lia realized what she had done. Filled with shame, she fled the room. The news where she slept with a strange man get to the city and she was being bashed for it. Her parent forced her to leave the country and she did, never wanting to return. But months later, she received news that would change her life forever: she was pregnant with twins. Five years later, she found herself back in the same country, same city, now a single mother to her two children. But her peace was shattered when she received a visit from a man she never expected to see again: the father of her children. She never wanted to know she had babies for him, but her babies couldn't stop asking; "Mommy, where is daddy?" There was no how she could lie this time around, the father is the carbon copy of his children.

Who is more handsome, Ryan or Xavier?

"I know, I know," Mia said with a chuckle. "I'm just messing with you. But seriously, they do have some similar features. Cutie Ryan are very handsome and so is he."

Lia laughed. "I guess I'll take that as a compliment, even if it's a bit of a backhanded one!" she said, nudging her friend. "But I still think you're seeing things that aren't there."

"Maybe I am," Mia conceded. "But let's just say that if your kids ever need a role model, they could do worse than the President of F Sky Corps."

"Ha! I don't know about that," Lia said. "I mean, we know nothing about him other than what we've seen in the media. For all we know, he could be a terrible person!"

"True, we don't know him personally," Mia said. "But he does seem like a pretty successful businessman. And, based on what we've seen in the media, he seems like a pretty decent guy. And you can't believe the way he played with the kids, a genuine smile on his face."

Lia shrugged. "Maybe so. But let's not get ahead of ourselves here. This is all just hypothetical, after all. My kids don't actually know him."

"Mom, I think it's kind of cool that I look like him," Ryan said, a twinkle in his eye. "After all, the guy is pretty handsome. I bet you'd like him."

"Now you're just being silly," Rihanna said, shaking her head. "You're a handsome boy, but you're not as handsome as Xavier."

"I beg to differ," Ryan said, putting his hands on his hips and puffing out his chest. "I'm definitely more handsome than he is."

"As if!" Rihanna interjected, rolling hereyes. "There's no way you're more handsome than him, little brother."

"Oh yeah?" Ryan said, raising an eyebrow. "How about we let Aunty Mia decide?"

"That's a terrible idea!" Rihanna exclaimed, clearly not wanting to lose the argument. "Aunty Mia is going to be biased! You don't see the way she looked at him when she saw him?"

"I don't know about that," Mia said, playing along with the kids' game. "I think I can be pretty objective about this. So, who's more handsome? Ryan or President Flynn?"

"Auntie Mia, don't lie!" Ryan pleaded, giving her his best puppy-dog eyes. "He's definitely more handsome than I am, right?"

Mia feigned deep thought, considering her answer carefully. "I don't know," she said, playing along. "You're both handsome in your own ways."

Rihanna looked up at Mia with wide eyes, clearly not pleased with the response. "That's not fair!" she cried. "You're only saying that to be nice. You know Ryan's not as handsome as President Flynn."

"Come now, don't be so hard on your brother," Mia said, trying to smooth things over. "He's still growing and he'll get even more handsome as he gets older."

"That's not true!" Rihanna said, still upset. "Auntie, please tell the truth. You can't say they're equally handsome. President Flynn is so much more handsome."

Mia laughed, finding it hard to keep a straight face in the face of Rihanna dramatics. She looked at Lia for help, sho looked away with laugh.

"Alright, alright. I'll be perfectly honest. President Flynn is very handsome. But so is your brother, just in a different way."

"I will let mummy judge when they see each other." Rihanna said finally and left with sad smile.
