Birthday Party

Shosuke and Kushina separated; while Kushina was nine years old, Kushina was in a separate shinobi class with Shosuke. Towards style, Shosuke attracted the attention of many girls and women.

That's because Shosuke is a nearly six years old kid with a pretty face and softer skin than any woman or baby in Konoha today.

And this is made worse by the clothes Kushina wore on him, thigh-length shorts with long socks with extra long black hair that made her resemble a fragile and beautiful little girl.

"How are things?" asked the 3rd Hokage without turning around.

"There's no movement from Root, even though Root's surveillance form is still hanging around, they can't do anything," Anbu reported calmly.

"Hmmm," the 3rd Hokage was lost in thought.

"Adding Anbu members to protect Shosuke Uzumaki, I have a feeling Danzo is planning something and they will be finished soon."

"Yes, Hokage-sama," Anbu replied, then disappeared without a trace.

"Even though that child's blood is very useful for the village, I hope you don't overdo it, old friend," muttered the 3rd Hokage.

At noon when the academy had ended, Shosuke and Kushina reunited while an additional person followed. This person was Namikaze Minato with her shiny yellow hair.

Shosuke glared at Minato then said

"You're Minato's brother who stole my onee-chan?!"

Minato almost choked on his saliva when he heard that, then hurriedly explained.

"eeee..shosuke, I have no intention of stealing your onee-chan, I just want to beat her to become stronger."

"eeeh Minato nii-san wants to hit Nee-san? Shosuke will protect Nee-san from the bad guys" Shosuke started shouting to protect Kushina.

Kushina, who was only listening from the side, couldn't take it anymore and started chuckling interjecting.

"Ku..Ku..Ku..my sweet Shosuke, you can calm down, that yellow hair won't be able to beat me because your Onee-Chan is strong, and if you want to protect me, you have to grow bigger which means you have to eat more."

"Ramen Ichiraku Nee-san, I want to eat ramen," Shosuke said, charging at Kushina.

"Okay you can eat as much as you want, yellow-haired brother will pay for it," Kushina said with a thumbs up towards Minato.

Minato, who heard it was speechless. He wanted to refuse but remembering Kushina's fist made him shut his mouth silently.

Arriving at a simple ichiraku ramen shop, Teuchi had started cooking since he was used to Kushina and Shosuke's arrival time.

"Kushina chan, you brought your boyfriend today?" Teuchi said in an amused tone.

"My Onee-chan" Shosuke shouted when Teuchi just chuckled when he heard it.

"Sorry sir, I'm just a friend," Minato replied calmly.

"Hehe.." Kushina just laughed softly hearing that, then continued

"Teuchi 3 extra-large bowl ramen"

"Okay madam," replied Teuchi casually.

"So kushina, didn't you invite me today because you wanted to say something?" Minato said, starting the conversation.

Kushina nodded while Shosuke listened as his eyes fell on the Ramen being prepared.

"I want to prepare a birthday party for Shosuke next month, and I want to invite you."

"Does Shosuke have no friends?"

This time it was Shosuke who answered "No."

Shosuke's answer left Minato speechless, while Kushina started to explain

"Boys in Shosuke's class refuse to be friends with shosuke because he looks more like a girl than a boy, while for girls they only want my Shosuke, not to be Shosuke friends, so I won't invite them."

Minato was silent for a while, then said, "Doesn't this mean Shosuke has no friends because you dress him like a girl and keep girls away from him?"

Kushina thought for a while and realized it was her fault, but Kushina refused to admit it.

"Hoooo, Shosuke have you forgotten me, for the past few months you have lunch at my simple shop, don't you think of me, Mr. Teuchi as a friend?" Teuchi said in a sad tone.

"Sorry Teuchi san, then I will invite you at the right time," Kushina said apologetically.

Shosuke just nodded.

The Hokage Building, Sandaime was working on paperwork at high speed when an Anbu came to report.

"Kushina Uzumaki plans to celebrate Shosuke Uzumaki's birthday within a month from the results of my surveillance, Kushina Uzumaki plans to invite you."

Sandaime paused. "Clear my schedule a month from now, and find me some gifts for the kid."

The Anbu just nodded and then disappeared while Sandaime continued his work.
