A month passed while nothing happened on the surface.

Afternoon.

In a simple house on the outskirts of Konoha, a 9-year-old girl dresses up her cute little brother in a girl's dress.

The girl is Kushina, while in her hand is Shosuke. Today was Shosuke's birthday, so Kushina was more excited than usual.

"Neee, Kushina Nee-Chan, why do I have to wear girl clothes again?" complained Shosuke, pouting.

Kushina hugged Shosuke for a while, then said, "Because it suits my little brother."

While Minato was busy putting up simple decorations, Teuchi and his wife came with a wooden container filled with birthday cakes tonight.

"Hey Minato, Working hard?" said Teuchi while entering the small house

After often hanging out with Kushina and Shosuke, Minato began to get along and enjoyed his time with Kushina and Shosuke. "It's just a simple job, not difficult at all."

Teuchi just nodded and sat with his wife in the main room of Kushina's house.

When it got dark, Kushina came down from the 2nd floor, turned on the light, and joined Teuchi and his wife.

"Where is our star today?" said Teuchi's wife gently.

Kushina just laughed and said, "he's just shy."

when the sun completely set, Minato sat down to join Teuchi while talking a little about cooking. At that time, the door of the house opened.

"Grandpa you're a bit late," said Kushina, then was surprised for a moment. "Grandma Mito, I don't think Grandma should be busy in this kind of event, Grandma's body is getting weaker."

Next to the Sandaime, an older woman with brown-red hair and a seal mark on her forehead, is Mito Uzumaki, Hashirama's first Hokage wife.

Sandaime just laughed. "Mito-sama wants to see his adopted granddaughter Kushina, I can't refuse that request."

Mito Uzumaki just smiled then said, "Where is your little brother, shouldn't he be down?"

Kushina laughed awkwardly then immediately ran to pick up the embarrassed Shosuke on the second floor.

Sandaime and Mito Uzumaki immediately sat down to join Teuchi and Minato, and everything was harmonious. Even though Sandaime was a Hokage and Teuchi was just a ramen seller, neither showed any arrogance or humility. They were talking casually as if Sandaime and Teuchi were old friends. Even the Sandaime casually answered all of Minato's questions about training.

After a while, Kushina got down while dragging Shosuke, who was wearing a pink kimono with a cherry pattern with black hair neatly arranged and tears in the corners of his eyes.

Minato had expected it, so he wasn't too surprised. While Sandaime and Teuchi chuckled, Mito Uzumaki and Teuchi's wife were taken aback, but they quickly calmed down as Shosuke sat quietly like an obedient princess.

Feeling awkward, Teuchi took out the dishes he had brought to lighten the mood while his wife started brewing tea for this simple celebration.

As the celebrations were about to begin, unexpected guests started to arrive, the first being Orochimaru. Orochimaru's arrival surprised Sandaime's teacher, but because Sandaime didn't feel any ill will, Sandaime didn't chase Orochimaru away.

"Uncle Snake," Shosuke greeted in a funny tone.

Orochimaru just smiled. "Hoo, I thought we should celebrate a bad boy's birthday, why did I only see a girl dressed up like a princess?"

Shosuke's cheeks pouted. "Onee-Chan who dressed me up"

Orochimaru just laughed while Mito-Sama pinched Shosuke's cheek. "It's okay Shosuke, I have no grandson you know, so seeing you little boy makes me happy."

"UwwwwU…wuu" Shosuke wanted to speak, but he couldn't because Mito-Sama was messing with his little face.

Just as the Sandaime felt that tonight would be a peaceful night, another knock sounded at the door before another uninvited guest entered. Sandaime felt uncomfortable since the one who came was Danzo.

Orochimaru greeted Danzo without politeness. "Yo old man, you have time to play at these days?"

Danzo's face did not change.

He looked at Shosuke, then said, "Your blood is really special, if used for war purposes it can help the village, just like your brother Kushina who will become the Kyuubi Jinchuriki, don't you have to sacrifice like your sister for this village?!"

The harmonious atmosphere automatically fell apart. Even Orochimaru, whose goals couldn't help frowning, Kushina exploded while Mito-Sama tried to calm Kushina down.

"You old bastard, my little brother is only 6 years old and you want to use him for war!" Kushina roared at Danzo.

"Calm down Kushina," said Mito-Sama trying to calm Kushina.

Sandaime is very calm, but in his heart, Sandaime is angry. "What do you mean Danzo?, Using a 6-year-old child for war, Konoha didn't fall that low."

Teuchi and his wife were silent because this conversation was irrelevant to them, while Minato was dumbfounded by what was happening.

"The third ninja war will begin soon and several of our spies have reported the few movements of Iwagakure unless Hashirama and Madara lead the war, Konoha will lose,

but now Konohagakure is a piece of pie right now, waiting to share between enemy," Danzo replied coldly.

"That doesn't mean we have to use Shosuke, he's still too young, he doesn't have enough guidance and experience," Sandaime replied while Kushina could only nod.

"Then let Root nurture it!" Danzo said.

This time his intentions were clear to Sandaime. Even Orochimaru understood it.

Unfortunately, Sandaime just refused firmly.

"Don't talk about this again Danzo, War is always unpredictable, even if everyone in Konoha says we must lose, it doesn't necessarily happen, and also war not gonna come in a few years, they still need some time to recover from last war."

Danzo understood his old friend's temper, and if he pushed him any further, he might lose more than he gained.

"I hope you don't regret Hokage-sama," Danzo said coldly and left Kushina's house.

When things got cold, Kushina started screaming in panic.

"Shosuke!! What happened? Get up? Don't scare your sister!" shouted Kushina while looking at Shosuke, who had fainted. When Kushina touched Shosuke's body, she could feel her body getting hotter, and even water vapor began to distort the air.

Orochimaru, who was nearby, started trying to check on Shosuke, but only ended up with his hands scalding when he touched him,

The hot steam was getting intense, Sandaime who saw no one could touch Shosuke, started frantically dousing Shosuke with water Jutsu, But it was useless.

Amidst the gripping heat, Shosuke's clothes started to burn, leaving his naked body on the floor. Kushina, Mito, and the others had begun to drift away from the heat.

The Anbu, guarding outside, immediately detected the abnormal heat from inside the house and moved towards the Sandaime.

"Evacuate this area immediately and knock down the surrounding wooden buildings!" Sandaime commanded fast while he used a higher rank water Jutsu on Shosuke.

The Anbu moved fast while hiding any information about what had happened.

From a distance Danzo who was on his way back, felt the strangeness of the place he had visited earlier, he wanted to order Root to find out, but unfortunately, the Anbu had sealed the location tightly.
