Bewildered as he is, Uta quickly try to calm his own. Calm... calm... As if! Obviously weird, right! Why is there such a "Hero saving Beauty" like script in slums! Is this Spiky kid Gifted? If so... is that wooden sword something like a medium similar to Ryunosuke's clothes to activate [Rashomon]?

Uta prioritize to understand the scene before him despite the life-saving grace. This is not because he's ungrateful to the kid who save him but the character cultivated in slums made him place his own safety above anything. A person without a clear understanding of the happenings around him is nothing but a lost sheep waiting to get slaughtered among pack of wolves. Exactly because of his cautious character, he manage to get the run away from Port Mafia's search for a long time. A pitiful thing is that he understand that the eastern part of slums was already a hunting ground but a kid without any ability to bypass Mafia personnel can only continue to avoid the search desperately.

After a few days of hiding without any source of food or water, he finally show a sign of carelessness which resulted to scene now. Just... he didn't expect to be saved. For someone who grow up on slum, its already a luxury to try living for yourself. Children in slum gathers for a better chance of survival and they'll develop comradery for those who's facing life and death together like normal people. But at the end, it was all for themselves, striving to live desperately like wild dogs without any other meaningful goals.

"Heh, Port Mafia have been rampaging here in slum quite frequently lately. You guys are really courageous!"

Sanemi didn't pay attention to the red haired kid behind him instead he quickly taunts the two armed men in front. His glaring expression and inexplicable pressure brings chills to the Mafia personnel. Because of the dangers of Gifted, they are quite well-aware that sometimes you can't underestimate people base on age. However, Sanemi won't give them time to recover.

"Wind Breathing - Second Form: Purifying Wind Claws"

Sanemi sweeps onward and creates four claws-like slash formed by gust towards the enemy. The two men stands of guard but without any useful means to defend. They could only try to fight back against the onslaught.

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang*

Continues fires using the gun were let out. But Sanemi who already predicted their response didn't invade but welcome the bullets.

"Wind Breathing - Fourth Form: Rising Dust Storm"

A repeated sweeps his sword horizontally and create multiple cyclone of slashes to deflect enemy attacks. At the same time, his initial attack attacks reach the enemies causing a deep flesh wounds like claw-marks from some giant beast. The two men who receive the attack without protection can only fall on the ground.

Akutagawa Ryunosuke who heard the commotion nearby immediately rushes. After passing by the narrow alley, he finally spotted his friend, Hitoyoshi Uta, who was missing for several days, dumbfounded in the middle of a garbage heap. His gaze turn in the other spiky hair kid standing conceitedly as he stare at the two men-in-black that fallen to the ground.

"Ryunosuke!"

Uta who finally recover upon the arrival of his friend called out in a concerned manner. Although the people in Mafia already fell down, he was still unsure if the spiky hair kid was here to help. Upon observation, he concludes that fighting was probably the main reason for his arrival. He just happened to be saved by the way.

Ryunosuke was well-aware of his friend's worry. They've developed such understanding after fighting together for many years. He was on guard against the other kid but to his surprise the opponent just stride forward on the opposite direction without paying attention to them.

"Hey!"

Ryunosuke and Uta was both dumbfounded by Sanemi's movement. Just left? Ryunosuke's gaze turn of the two Mafia personnel that is still twitching on the ground. Is it okay to leave them alive? Of course...not! Port Mafia rules stipulates to double back any attacks towards them. If there's a living mouth, that's basically welcoming dangers!

"[Rashomon!]"

The clothing on the black hair boy moved forming a beast-like creature stretching towards the fallen men on the ground giving a fatal injury that decapitate their heads from their body. He manipulated the clothes again and gestured Uta to move away from his original place.

A few minutes later, the streets on slum looks empty again except for the blood that fallen of the originally dirty ground, the garbage heap seemingly increased the amount of "trash". The two children was nowhere to be found.

Shinazugawa Sanemi or rather, the controller - Ayanaki Rui, just let Sanemi move away from the two immediately after the battle. First reason is because there's no need for further conflict. Sanemi's attitude isn't a heartwarming kindness that prefers to be thanked. So, if he is to talk to the two kids (noticing that Akutagawa Ryunosuke was the other one), it will probably be misunderstood as taunting instead, resulting in another fight. Second reason is the problem cause by huge mental strain for using the avatar's power. In the end, Rui is still a 3 year old kid. Despite the seemingly larger amount of mental power that she had for her age (probably a benefit of reincarnation), it was still hard to freely control the avatar's way of fighting without prior experience.

2 months was enough for Rui to get used acting like normal in the orphanage while controlling Sanemi at the same time. But it seems like the difficulty will also exponentially increase when the avatar is fighting. During the fight, Rui can only lie in bed pretending to be dizzy in order to properly direct Sanemi's movements. Not enough. Rui was still unsatisfied with the result of her first fight but she wasn't in a rush. This kind of thing needs time to master and she has plenty of time on her hands.
