Family Meal

"Only 6 people can sit on the sofas (3 people each side), although we can squeeze to fit 8... Sane-chan~ Please help setting the extra table and chairs."

"Don't order me. I was about to do that just now. Katsuki, you come to help too."

"Ah."

There are 10 people present, the bar has 1 long table with 2 sofas can't fit all of them. DOLLAR bar has a huge free space so they have extra square tables and chairs if needed. It was also possible to let four people eat on the counter chairs but it was rude to the guest (plus they're not used to it). Sanemi and Katsuki place a square table beside the long one and set four extra chairs on the sides. Chuuya was pulled by Rui to sit in the middle position of the sofa beside her.

Soon, the table was filled with food. Today's meal is thin beef slices soak in sweet sauce, cheese and bacon stuffed omelet meticulously cut in bit size, stir fried greens and other vegetables and some clear soup broth with tofu. Matsutada distributed their respective rice bowls signaling that they're free to get second serving.

"Itadakimasu~"

"Itadakimasu."

Everyone clap their hands together and pay respect for the meal. Chuuya was a little late but still follow them. Everyone started to reach for the food and eat while talking.

"Ho-ho~ Growing youth still need to eat more vegetables. If you don't grow up, I won't comfort you even if you cry later."

"Izaya should be the one not 'growing up', please act more like an adult. By then, your words will be credible."

"But his words are not groundless though, eat more."

Decim place some vegetables on Subaru's bowl to stop him from butting heads with Izaya. The current sitting arrangement was:

Katsuki - Q - Mitsutada - Izaya - Sanemi

Chuuya stares at Izaya having an unexplainable irritation. This guy gives of the same feeling as bastard Dazai! But, thinking that being compared to Dazai was too rude, he didn't say anything. Chuuya who was conquered by Mitsutada's cooking enjoyed his meal. Then, he sees the two children (Rui and Q) with their gaze focus on the stir fried vegetables but their chopsticks are not moving.

"Eat your vegetables!" x 2

Katsuki and Chuuya who overlapped with each other twitched their mouths. They turn their attention to the kid on their side and place a good amount of vegetables on their bowls. Rui and Q who was forced to eat under their watch swallowed the food obediently.

"You guys are like mothers"

"HUH?!" x 2

Nagito's comment ignited the two again but the culprit just return an innocent face as if he had no idea why they're angry. The feeling of punching cotton hit the two.

"You guys... can't you just focus on eating? Have some respect for the meal, you bastards."

"Sane-chan, you can't say such vulgar words on the table."

"Ah... you want to fight, Izaya?!"

"Sanemi, you're contradicting yourself. Just ignore Izaya and eat. Chuuya-san also doesn't need to feel reserved. Please eat more."

Mitsutada interjects and successfully let Sanemi calm down. Chuuya thank him and got up to get a second serving.

Although the meal was full of up-and-downs, it was a nice experience for Chuuya. Other people goes upstairs, Matsutada goes to the kitchen to clean up while some remain dallying in the bar lounge. He also ask Decim if the bar was open for business and was pleased that he got an affirmation. He was pointed out by Izaya that minors are not allowed to drink though.

"Well... As a Mafia, you probably won't need follow such rules though."

"Huh? You... when did you notice?"

"A promising newcomer of Port Mafia who's the ex-leader of Sheep, manipulator of gravity, Nakahara Chuuya. If I don't even know such infamous person's news, I should just quit being an intelligence dealer."

Izaya give a wicked smile as he stare at Chuuya. This time, Chuuya really feels a deep resemblance with this man and Dazai. Are they relatives? Long lost brother?

"Izaya, don't bully the guest. Rui will be angry."

"Ah~ I'm not not bullying him, Subari-chi. He's just so clueless about his identity that I can't help but remind him as a good person!"

"Good person, my ass. I said, you need to learn a thing our two about respecting privacy."

"Intelligence dealers take information as weapon. You can't expect me to do that~"

Chuuya look at the tit-for-tat of the two with a twitching bulge in his forehead. This feeling of wanting to hit the opponent is really familiar! He calmed down and started to analyzed the given information. He's quite high profile before so it's not impossible to have his information among people of the underworld. Intelligence dealers are considered as people in the gray area... they should also know a thing or two. He didn't join Port Mafia for long and still hasn't participate in many operations so this Izaya should be an incredibly good one in gathering information.

But... as long as he's not an enemy of Port Mafia, he still wouldn't pay much attention on him. People like him are better to be friends than foes. Chuuya, who's an instinctive faction, think so. Rui holding Q's hand approaches Chuuya.

"Leaving?"

"Ah. I stayed here for long already. Thank you for the food. Tell that err... Mitsutada?, it was delicious."

"Um...Chuuya you've it. (Home)"

"Huh?"

"Nothing. Chuuya, bye-bye."

"Unknown Onii-chan, bye-bye!"

"It's Nakahara Chuuya, you kid. Goodbye."

Chuuya can't help but rub their heads before fixing his clothes ready to go out. The two looks at Chuuya as he set off until they can't see him anymore.

"Rui! Let's play~"

"Um. Let's go to Nagito's room?"

"Let's go~~"

Chuuya didn't return to Port Mafia dorm immediately and continue his stroll. It's rare for him to have free time but he really didn't have much to do. He's currently thinking of saving his pay to buy a motorcycle. It should be fun to stroll in high speed, right? Cars are also nice but the feeling of riding motorcycle should be more exciting. And... cars should only be bought if he already has his own residence.

During Chuuya's rare time alone, he was able to fully relax today. The youth, full of dreams of the future, smiles as he walks back towards his "home".
