CH 44: THE BREAKING POINT

Chapter 44: The Breaking Point

ELENA'S POV

Leaving Emily's place, I was still fuming. Confronting her hadn't gone as well as I hoped, but at least I tried. Walking back to the suite, a sense of dread settled in my stomach. Something felt off.

I opened the door, and my heart stopped.

Gabriel and Vanessa were on the bed, wrapped around each other, oblivious to everything. It was like a nightmare I couldn't wake up from.

"Seriously?" I managed to say, my voice shaking with anger and disbelief.

They jumped apart, eyes wide with shock. Gabriel scrambled to cover himself, looking as pale as a ghost. "Elena, this isn't what it looks like—"

"Don't," I snapped, raising my hand to stop him. "Just don't."

Vanessa smirked, enjoying every second. "Looks like you're not the only one he wants to play house with."

My rage boiled over. "You have no idea what you're talking about," i yelled "This isn't a game."
