GABRIEL KNIGHT'S POV

I stormed into the suite with Butch right behind me. The silence was deafening. I called out, "Elena?" but only the echo of my voice answered.

"Elena!" I shouted again, panic seeping into my tone.

I tore through the suite, checking every room. Nothing. My heart pounded as I grabbed my phone and dialed her number. It went straight to voicemail. Desperation set in. I yanked open the wardrobe—empty. Her clothes were gone.

"Damn it!" I slammed the door shut, my hands shaking.

Butch's voice was hard. "Gabriel, where the hell is she? If anything happens to that girl..."

"I don't know, Butch!" I snapped, my voice cracking. Tears blurred my vision. "I don't know where she is."

Butch's face turned red with anger. "You better find her, Gabriel. This is on you."
