DINNER PARTY FOR CREW

"No lyrics, that's not a problem. I can write them for you."

"You write lyrics?"

"I sometimes do write for fun. Can't I have the honor of writing for a celebrity?''

"You know me?''

"It looks like someone is really underestimating herself."

By Ash's tone, Joy was really speechless. She didn't what to say but she felt happy on the inside due to his remark so she just chuckled at him.

"Anyways, why are you here of all places. The owner here is a bad person."

"I know that but my uncle is the manager here so I use this place from time to time."

"Manager here is your Uncle? I am sorry to break it to you but your Uncle got fired yesterday."

"What, how do you know this?"

"I heard it from the owner of this place."

When Joy heard this she felt a little sad. She used this place in her early career to create her own music and she was using this place till this date whenever she found an inspiration because of her uncle. Both this place and her uncle had a positive impact on her career.

She was very grateful to her uncle for letting her use this place. But now that her uncle she decided to visit her uncle right away.

"Thank you for telling me about my uncle. If you hadn't told me I wouldn't have known about this."

"Nah, It's not a big deal."

"Anyways, I should take my leave now and visit my uncle."

"Should I drop you?"

"No, thanks, I have my own car so I will go."

"Goodbye then."

"Goodbye"

"Oh! Wait a second." Ash took out a card from his pocket and handed her, "Here, take my card and please contact me if you need my lyrics. And do it fast I might give it to someone else later."

"Sure, I will."

Joy left and after getting his phone back, Ash called Serena and informed her to come for dinner along with Nancy and Rowen to which agreed.

In the evening Ash arrived with Serena at a restaurant. Ash had booked a big hall for his crew. Soon everyone started to arrive there.

Liam arrived along with John Bairstow. When they saw Ash they came to greet him. Liam said, 30 days passed in a blink of an eye. It was a great time working with you."

"It looks like you did a really good job. Liam rarely praises anyone but for you, he is all praises." John Bairstow said.

"Thank you for coming here today Liam, Mr. Bairstow." Ash said to John, "It was my pleasure working with Liam. He took my movie to the next level with his cinematography."

"It was possible because of your excellent direction," Liam said

"I hope we will be able to work together again soon," Said Ash.

"No, no, no, no. I landed you him once but now you are stealing him from me," John said as a joke.

"It's not stealing, It's called sharing, and haven't you heard that sharing is caring," Ash said in the same tone.

"Sharing? What am I person or a pie." When Liam said that it made everyone laugh.

After they parted Ash got busy gritting other guests.

When Misty arrived Ash announced, "Here comes the star of the tonight, Mystiq Mclanny. Misty here was the newest and least experienced among us but the role she played the 30 days was the best and did it in the least imaginable effort. So everyone let's welcome her with a loud applause."

Everyone applauded for Misty due to which she was shy. Martha who was standing next to Ash said, "Don't praise her too much or it might get to her head."

"Praise should be given where it's due and don't worry about her too much. She is very sensible and with me looking after her she will be so successful that we can't even imagine it."

"Hope that is true," Martha said.

"It will be that's for sure," Ash assured her.

Just then Serena came to Ash and said, "Come with me I want you to meet someone."

Ash followed her and she took him to a young man who was around 24-25 years old.

"Ash this is Jason Roy. He is an editor and has an experience of over 5 years of editing documentaries. Even though he never edited a movie before but I can vouch for his skills. Right now you need an editor so I would like to recommend him."

''Hello, Mr. Wilson, It's nice to meet you." Jason gritted Ash.

Ash looked at Ash Jason even though he looked young but when Ash heard about his experience he didn't have a mind of doubt. And since Serena was the one who was recommending him he didn't have to worry about it anymore. He wasn't in a hurry so he thought it will be alright to give him a try.

Right now Ash was once again hit a wall when it came to editing. He had already used all the budget he had for the shooting and now he didn't have anything left from the initial budget for editing and promotion. But now that company was making a profit again he thought it won't be that big of a deal.

"Serena, are you an angel or what? Since you are recommending him and I am in a dire need of an editor I will accept him." Ash said with a smile, "Welcome aboard, Mr. Roy."

"Thank you very much, Mr. Wilson, for giving me this opportunity. I will not let you down." Jason shook hands with Ash and thanked him once again and started discussing editing with Ash. Jason found out that Ash had some knowledge about editing so he thought it will easier to work for him

Serena's ears were still red from the angel comment but when she looked at Ash who was smiling like he had won a major battle already she thought something was wrong.
