We Fight!

Pyro and Avalanche walked through the school corridor as they talked and laughed obnoxiously. They would come across a few specific students who they would antagonise and bully. While they walked, they soon came across a familiar young boy who had changed slightly.

"Hey, look." Pointed out Avalanche.

Pyro turned his head, and after a few seconds, a grin appeared on his face as he started talking.

"Hey, new kid. You haven't been seen in 2 weeks. I heard you got injured badly. What, did you trip over air and fall down the stairs." He said as he referred to the first day.

"Nope, I've just been with your mother. Doing what you ask? Well, I'll let you guess that on your own."

It seemed that no matter where in the universe you were, 'yo mama' jokes were always a classic.

Pyro was taken aback by this sudden insult. Before he could have time to process it and throw a fit, Wukong continued.

"You know, Bobby told me a lot about you. How you're always frustrated for being weak. How your ideologies and opinion are laughable. How you need a lighter to conjure flames. Pyrokinesis? What a joke!"

As he said this, Pyro's face went dark.

"Joke? I'll show you a joke!" He said as he gritted his teeth and flipped open his lighter. After lighting his lighter and placing it before his hand, a stream of flames erupted, aimed at Wukong.

The flames encased the hallway and made it seem as if it was impossible to dodge. As Pyro thought this, he watched as Wukong emerged from under the flames on his buttocks as he slid and struck the flame user on both legs with his staff, performing a similar action to a certain blue man.

Pyro's face slammed straight into the ground as blood started to pour from his nose.

After a few seconds of bewilderment, Avalanche snapped out of his trance as he raised both hands in the air.

Knowing what his ability was, Wukong did not wait for it as he lightly tossed his staff to the tank of a man.

Not thinking much of it, even mocking the enemy for throwing his only weapon, he caught it with one hand.

As he did, his body was jerked to the ground as the staff laid atop his hand, audibly crushing his bones. He let out an animalistic scream as tears started to form in his eyes.

Hearing the scream, Pyro couldn't help but breathe rapidly. His heartbeat accelerated as he sweated profusely. As he looked back at his enemy, he saw that Wukong started to march toward him.

Picking up his lighter from the ground, he attempted to flick it open before he was met with a swift kick to the hands, making him drop the source of his power.

Due to Avalache's scream, a crowd now formed that included Scott, Jean, Bobby, a green-haired girl accompanied by a brunette with white strands of hair. They watched as Wukong dodged various punches from Pyro with unmatched speed and precision. He moved effortlessly as Pyro failed to land a finger on him.

After a few minutes, Pyro stood with his hands up as he breathed heavily, blood pouring down his nose. He looked over to Avalanche who had passed out due to the immense pain. As Pyro looked back to his enemy, he was met with Wukongs face to face with him as he grinned from ear to ear.

"Peek-a-boo!" As he said this he grabbed Pyro's hair and tugged it down, simultaneously bringing his knee up and slamming it into Pyro's face.

Pyro's eyes rolled back as his head was flung up in the air. Wukong, however, did not let him off as he placed one hand on the floor and swung his opposite leg, making contact with the side of Pyro's face.

Blow after blow, Wukong continued with his onslaught of attacks, flipping, kicking, and jumping.

Everyone watched this with scrunched faces. At the start, they quite enjoyed watching Pyro and Avalanche get what they deserved. However, as time went on, it was no longer satisfying. It was horrifying. The fact that he could proceed to attack an already defeated opponent made him seem as if he was a psychopath.

"He's… He's like a monkey." Said Jean as she watched Wukongs peculiar martial art. The others looked at her, and turned back, giving a look of understanding and agreement.

"Hey, that's enough." Voiced Scott as he couldn't watch anymore. However, he was ignored as Wukong continued.

Before he could speak out again, someone walked past him and grabbed the fist that was about to land on Pyro.

After taking a glance at the person who interrupted his revenge, he was met with a tall man with a chiselled face and sharp eyes. Paired with his long luscious blond hair that fell below his ears, he could be considered quite the handsome fellow.

"Alex," said Scott.

"That's enough. You've made your point." He said as he gripped Wukong's wrist.

Wukong stared at this man he had never seen before. After a few seconds, he let go of Pyro, who slammed onto the floor, unconscious. And in turn, Alex let go of him.

"You know what I like about your hair?" The others including Alex were taken aback and confused by such a peculiar question at an unusual time.

Before he could answer, he felt a strong tug in his hair, and soon after his face made contact with Wukongs knee.

The others looked at this scene in shock as some gasped while others were left without words.

"Alex!" Shouted Scott.

"He just struck a teacher." Said the brunette with white strands.

Alex's nose gushed out blood as he fell onto one knee. However, Wukong wasn't done. After using Alex's other knee as a platform, he slammed a second knee into his face.

Alex struggled to keep his consciousness. After a few seconds, he had retained his clarity.

"Enough!" He shouted as red energy started to gather and encircle him.

"Oh, crap." As Wukong said this an energy beam was unleashed from Alex, hitting him in his forearms after he brought it up in an X shape attempting to block.

Wukong was sent skidding across the ground before recovering and jumping up, noticing the burn marks on his arm.

After picking his staff up, he was ready for round 2. Scott helped Alex to his feet as he held his nose.

"You little shit." Said the infuriated Alex, also ready to engage as it looked like Scott was ready to back him.

As they both took their stances, lightning struck the middle of them as Storm could be seen standing in the middle of all the chaos.

"What is the meaning of this!?" The rage in her voice could be sensed from several miles away. So much so that the crowd dispersed as soon as she arrived.

After seeing the state of Alex and the two lying on the floor, including the burn marks on Wukong, she put two and two together.

After a couple of minutes, the four injured men were sent to the medical ward, placed in separate rooms as nurses tended to their wounds.

After an hour or two, Professor Xavier, Ororo, Peter and Hank entered the room as Wukong ate some fruit.

Without exchanging small talk, Hank started to speak. "Illian, what you did today will not be overlooked. Your antics ever since you arrived here have been getting worse by the day. First, you nearly kill yourself in the danger room, then you rudely sneak out whilst the Professor is speaking to you, you've also damaged the danger room and don't think we don't know about how you've been sneaking out at night during your 2-week rest."

"What the hell. How'd they know?" Wukong thought. He was sure to be vigilant in his escapes. He always made sure to check if the staff were gone, and he was always sure to be back before any of them arrived. Not to mention there was never anyone near the danger room in the middle of the night.

"But now you've also added assaulting staff and severely injuring students to your list of crimes." He continued.

"What are you complaining about? Those guys were bullies. They got what was coming to them. Also, they were the ones to attack me first."

"I understand that. However, the way in which you hurt them was…it was unethical. You have to draw the line somewhere. You must have morals. Otherwise in the end you'll be no better than the villains you see in this world."

Silence encased the room after he said this. Nods of agreement and stares of disappointment were all that was left.

"I do have morals." Said Wukong, breaking the silence.

"I do whatever the hell I want. Those are the morals I go by."

Hank was taken aback by this, however, it was soon replaced with eyes of judgement and condescension.

Seeing that this wasn't going anywhere, Peter continued.

"Be that as it may, we have rules. And you've broken several. Therefore, you will be punished."

Wukong didn't think much of the 'punishment'. He just knew for a fact that it would be a nuisance.

"You will not partake in school activities for 2 weeks. Including, class, field trips and others."

Wukong looked at Peter with wide eyes. That was his punishment? Soon his surprise was replaced by excitement and delight. But he couldn't show this.

"Oh darn. Oh, man. Class? Wow, I love school. What am I going to do without it?" He said unconvincingly.

"Don't get too happy." Said Ororo as Peter continued.

"You will also be restricted access to the danger room for 2 weeks also."

After he said this, Wukongs heart sank.

"We take disputes and injured students, as well as staff, very seriously." Said Xavier who hadn't said anything all this time.

As they were met with silence, they decided to turn around and leave.

"What if there was a way you could get me to behave and stop causing trouble? As well as attending school."

As they heard this behind them, they turned around. After giving a glance to the Professor who gave a nod, Peter spoke out "Tell me."

"We make a bet. If I lose I'll do whatever you want. However, if I win, you guys let me go to the danger room whenever I want and you stop pestering me about school."

After a few seconds, Peter asked out of curiosity.

"How would we settle it?"

"We fight." Said Wukong with a grin.

"Illian!" Said Ororo as she rejected this proposal.

"When?" Asked Peter, which prompted the whole room to look over at him in shock.

"Peter, are you sure?" Asked the Professor, to which he was given a determined nod.

"Tomorrow," Wukong said as even he was shocked. He didn't think that Peter would agree.

"Then it's settled. Tomorrow, we fight."
