Myra's mind was still occupied when Martin pulled the car to a stop.
Getting out alongside Kevin, stunned for a moment to see they were in front of a restaurant.
Then she recalled that the CEO of Cambridge Corporations had suggested this restaurant have the appointment.
Myra led the way in and approached a waiter. "We have a reservation. Smith and Reyes."
The waiter nodded. "This way." And led them to an empty table at the side of the restaurant.
"Do you want to order anything while you wait for your partners?" She asked them.
"Just four bottles of water and some snacks," Kevin replied, waving her off.
Myra relaxed into the seat beside him, looking to the door.
She was supposed to have a date with Peter after work today but with what she just saw, she felt a bit uneasy.
What if it was all a misunderstanding?
She isn't meant to jump to a conclusion so early.
There must be some sort of explanation, right?
