Chapter 22: Keji

"So you're telling me you've been here for the last fifteen years?" Kazuki asked the original who continued squirming. "Sit down, and I won't hit you again."

The original obediently followed Kazuki's orders. "Damn it." He cursed.

'Strange, I thought I completely owned this body. Just what is going on? He said he's the original owner?' Kazuki narrowed his eyes. 

"I can hear your thoughts you know." The original said with a deadpan expression. "I am the original owner, it took a while for me to connect the dots, but you're not from this world aren't you?"

Kazuki raised one of his eyebrows. "Yes, I'm not from this world."

"Figures." The original looks away. "I've been trapped here for god knows why, the only sort of entertainment to help me from losing my mind completely were the scenes from your eyes."

"Scenes?" Kazuki asked.

"I see everything, at first I was confused about the whole thing. When your body grew, so did I. I asked myself a couple of times why I was born and inside your body." The original continued. "I watched everything and delved into your memories, that's when I pieced together, that I'm the original not you. You took my body from me."

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know." Kazuki rubbed the back of his head. "I thought that this body was mine, that I reincarnated here." He looks at the original guilty.

"Yeah, you're just using my body. It wasn't yours, I got pushed out and trapped." The original sighed. 

"How did you pull me here?" Kazuki asked.

The original rubbed the back of his neck. "That it started from when you awakened your quirk, small cracks began appearing. As years passed by and you continued using your quirk, the cracks grew wider and a small pathway was formed when you were frozen by Shoto's quirk."

Kazuki was in deep thought. He glanced at the original. "Do you want to take the body back?"

"I do, this is my body, not yours. But..." The original sighed. "I don't want you to be trapped here like I did, even though I'm supposed to be pissed, but you did use my body to perform cool stuff." A smile formed on his face.

"You utilized the quirk efficiently and rose to the top. If it were me especially when the doctor said the quirk can't be used to its full extent, I would have stayed in the farm and gave up becoming a hero." He pointed his finger at Kazuki.

"We're different, I'm a coward, and you're not. Also, Mom and Dad, Hinata, Grandpa, and Grandma, they'd notice the change, even though you're an invader, you're also sorta their son." The original looked away.

Kazuki raised a smile on his face. "Then what do you want?"

"I want to see the world, I want to experience those stuff in the comics. You get all the fun while I watch in this damp place." The original had a wide smile on his face. 

"T-Thats all you want?" Kazuki asked unsure. "You can have your body back if you want, you are the original, not me."

"You're right." Another smile rose on his face. "How about this? Give me your left eye!"

"What?" Kazuki had a confused look on his face. "My left eye?"

The original continued nodding. "Yes, your left eye! I want to see it for myself, even if I can't use my body to fight I can at least see the whole world. Not from your eyes, but from my own."

Kazuki nodded his head. "Alright then, left eye." 

"Great!" The original said. "Oh right, I have a name. I made a pretty cool name, Keji."

"Well then Keji, it's nice to meet you. I'm Kazuki." Kazuki stretched his right hand.

"Nice to meet you Kazuki, I'm Keji!" Keji stretched his left hand and shook Kazuki's hand profusely. "Thanks."

Slowly Kazuki woke up from his sleep. 

He looked around the room. 'What where am I?' He glanced at one of his arms. 'I can't move my right hand.' He touched his left eye, still closed. 'Keji are you there?'

His left eye opened. 'Yeah! Wow, so this is the world outside of that place! It's so brilliant!'

'Keji, no first look at my right arm.' Kazuki groaned, he tried to lift his right arm yet it was unresponsive.

His right arm looked thin, pale like the dead.

'You can't move it?' Keji asked.

'No, I can't, I can't feel it as well.' Kazuki replied. 'Did you do something?'

'W-What?! Of course not, I don't even know why your hand is like that. Your memories are jumbled as well.' Keji responded and added.

"K-Kazuki?" Furui entered the ward all by himself. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine, Dad what's wrong with my right hand?" Kazuki asked.

"Well...you used your quirk to its maximum." Furui adjusted his glasses wiping his tears. "Luckily you didn't blow up, but...Your right hand can't function any longer. You used your quirk and the repercussion was that the bones inside your right hand turned into dust, and all your veins disappeared as well."

'What?' Kazuki was stunned. 'What the heck?'

"I know it's a lot to take in. The only option the doctor gave us is to cut off your right arm and use prosthetics. But I decided to consult you first." Furui sighed wiping his tears.

'What the heck is this??' Kazuki yelled inside his thoughts.

'Hey, Kazuki. If you want I can fix your right arm though it'll take an ample amount of time.' Keji added. 'But, I'm not so sure if I can heal it fully.'

'How?' Kazuki asked. 

'Remember when I said your quirk?' Keji asked.

'Yes?' Kazuki replied confused.

'Well, I don't know why but I have this thing. It's like a healing quirk, but it works strangely.' Keji added. 'It started when you awakened your quirk, I awakened as well. At first, I didn't know what quirk I had, that was when you wounded yourself while training on the farm. It was a small wound, you didn't even notice.'

'My quirk acted up, it wasn't healing, well it was kinda, but there were small tiny particles I could move. When you were reading a science book once, the small particles I could see were identical to the picture in the book. Cells. Strangely thought I could use my quirk while stuck inside your body.' Keji said. 'But I'm not so sure if I can fully regenerate your bones, It might take some time.'
