Chapter 19: Cavalry Battle (End)

The whole arena turned deadly silent. 

After a few short seconds of being stunned, they all exclaimed in excitement. 

"Mei Hatsume? That's the inventor's name right?" One of the spectators asked.

"The heck is he doing?" Bakugo had question marks on his face.

"Kekeke! Remember that folks! Mei Hatsume's name! Approved by the future pro hero Kazuki Uchikuuuu!" Present Mic shouted aloud.

Ojiro and Jiro stood there lifelessly looking at Kazuko who flew down and landed.

"Kazuki! Thank you so much!" Mei shouted aloud looking at Kazuki. "My babies finally had the spotlight, oooh I need to emphasize them better in the next round!" Mei said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah." Kazuki also had a lifeless look on his face. 'Why the heck did I do that? I want to slap myself.' Kazuki groaned.

After that short showcase. The other teams continued to fight with one another, ignoring Kazuki's team.

"We've got zero points!" Hanta Sero shouted aloud.

Bakugo's eyes are bloodshot looking at Monoma who had a smug look. Bakugo trembled as he told his team to chase after Monoma.

While Todoroki was challenging Midoriya.

"Oooooh only five minutes left!" Present Mic shouted aloud. "It seems like Kazuki's team will take first place!"

"That kid's strong." One of the spectators said pointing at Kazuki.

"The other teams gave up trying to take his points." Another spectator said.

"The kid showed amazing abilities in the first round, even in the second round he showed complete domination." One spectator said again.

"Isn't this a foreshadowing that he will win?" Another one was added.

"Yeah, just from the first and second rounds, it just showcased how powerful the kid is." Another woman added.

'Kazuki.' Furui furrowed his brows. 

"Third huh? We might've done a little too well for ourselves." Monomo said with a smug smile seeing the results.

Bakugo shot into the sky with his quirk.

Tsubarasa immediately created a wall using his quirk. 

Bang. Bang

Bakugo continued to punch the wall.

Tsubarasa had a smile on his face as they began moving.

Bang!

Bakugo destroyed the solid air and pulled the headbands on Monoma's neck. 

"He took two!" Present Mic shouted. "Bakugo's team moves to third place! The rankings keep changing in the final stages!"

"Go for ten million!" Bakugo clenched his fist and ordered Kirishima.

"Why don't we secure other headbands instead?" Kirishima said.

"What? Fine, let's take all our points back!" Bakugo kept punching Kirishima's head. " Then we go for ten million! I need to get my revenge on that bastard!" Bakugo's forehead was still lumped.

Todoroki was in second place. He moved his hand and created an ice wall around Kazuki. 

Midoriya was in fourth place. 

Kazuki's team got ready. They had two enemies on each side. 

"Res time is over," Kazuki said, stretching his right hand.

"Ooooh look at this turn of events! Todoroki and Midoriya's team are aiming for Kazuki!" Present Mic commented.

With the help of Midoriya's teammates, they shot him through the sky. His hands glowed, he was aiming for Kazuki's headband. 'It's suicidal to take a frontal assault, but I need to at least try and I never tried using this quirk on a person. Either way, it's fine, I'm not going to hit him!'

Todoroki jumped away from his team and aimed his hand at Kazuki. He stretched his hand aiming at Kazuki's headband. 'Before he hits me, I'll make an ice wall.' Todoroki was planning in his head how to take the headband.

"Die!" Bakugo appeared behind Kazuki, his hands crackling in the explosion. 

'I must take that headband!' The three thought simultaneously.

"Wooooahhh three against one! Bakugo, Todoroki, and Midoriya are ganging up on Kazuki!" Present Mic shouted. 

"Shit!" Kazuki shouted. '3%' 

Clap.

Boom!

"Kuak, hold on tight," Midoriya said to his team.

"Bastard!" Bakugo flew away due to the strong impact.

'Todoroki?' Kazuki turned his head around, Todoroki's hand was his headband.

"Ooooooh! Kazuki's headband has been taken by Todoroki!" Present Mic shouted. "Let the countdown begin!"

'This smart bastard.' A smile formed on Kazuki's face. He left his spot and emerged face-to-face with Todoroki. He stretched his right hand, and wind pressure formed at the tip.

'3%' Kazuki moved his fingers, his eyes not leaving Todorki's silhouette. "Dodgeeeeee!" Kazuki shouted aloud.

Todoroki's hair stood up. 'Shit!' He rose his hand creating a thick, massive ice wall that reached the skies.

Kazuki's hand met with the wall.

Boom!

A loud explosion rang in the whole arena. 

Crack. Crack

The ice wall cracked into tiny pieces, smoke covered the whole arena.

Todoroki used his quirk to help his teammate land safely, he held his hand, and he overused his quirk. 

"Todoroki, that's mine!" Kazuki appeared behind Todoroki, his left hand grabbed the headband, while he braced his right hand. 

'It's going to hit me' Todoroki was still in a state of shock, Kazuki's fist an inch away from his face.

[Beep. Beep]

"Time's up!" Present Mic shouted.

Kazuki stopped midway. He held his right hand Todoroki lost his footing and sat on the ground.

"Woooooahhhh!" The cloud exclaimed.

"That's the end of the second round, the cavalry battle!" Present mic added. "What an intense fight!"

"Kazuki!" Ojiro, Jiro, and Mei ran to Kazuki. "We won!"

Kazuki smiled. "Yeah, we won."

Mei held Kazuki's hand and stretched it into the sky. "We won!"

Kazuki smiled his right hand in the air.

"Bakugo are you okay?" Kirishima asked Bakugo whose face was planted on the ground.

Bakugo didn't say anything and kept punching the ground. He looked like a kid who threw a tantrum.

Todoroki slowly stood up. 'Damn it.'

"Now let's take a look at the top four teams right away!" Present Mic with his hand swaying in the air added. "First Place, Team Uchiku!" 

"Second Place, Team Todoroki!"

"Third Place, Team Bakugo!"

"At least we made it to third place." Mina heaved a sigh of relief.

"Yeah, but I don't think he's too happy with that." Kirishima pointed at Bakugo who kept on screaming.

"Fourth Place, Team Midoriya!"

"These four teams will advance to the final round!"
