Katsuki Bakugo was on top of the world!

He stared out to the crowd chanting his name, a feeling of utter elation washing over him.

He turned back to the one who tried to ambush him in front of the whole nation, only to be beaten by his strength...his might!

The boy started to walk toward the burned and beaten bunny, sparks crackling in his hands. "You know...as crazy as this is gonna sound, I actually oughta thank you. It's not every day that a hero student gets to beat his first villain in front of a crowd. In front of the whole nation!"

The only reply he received was for the Rabbit to groan as he tried to pick himself up, only to collapse to the ground again.

Bakugo snickered. "Guess all those other so-called pros just weren't cut out for the job if they couldn't handle a floppy-eared know-it-all joke like you! And if that rumour about you being Quirkless is actually true, then it was only a matter of time until you failed!"

He slammed his fist into his waiting palm, causing a small combustion to go off from the impact. "So, hey..."

"Thanks for being another stepping stone, on my way to being number one!"

"Something's not right..."

The elasticity man almost didn't hear his tiny teammate's whisper, as he turned to face her. "What do you mean?"

The pint-sized hacker was watching the fight with wide, fearful eyes, but her brow was creased with scrutiny.

"I've seen Deku fight in the Masquerade since his first debut. He's become a favourite among the fans, not just because he's the only Quirkless fighter, but because of how good he is in the ring. He always gives it his all, and has found a way to come out on top, no matter who it is or what quirk they have..."

"Are you saying that there's something wrong with him?" Gentle guessed worriedly.

The pig-tailed girl shook her head. "No...He's been planning this for so long now. Plenty of time to prepare himself mentally. This could all be part of his plan. It's almost as if..."

Rappa let loose a heavy haymaker on his punching bag, tearing it off its hook and sending it flying into the far wall across the hall.

"He's holding back."

Deku wheezed as he lifted his hand to the side of his head, pressing the comm in his ear. "La Brava...can you hear me?"

The pint-sized hacker heard the boy's raspy voice in her ear and shot her hand up to her ear. "Deku! Deku, I'm here!"

"Are you in position?" The Quirkless child's voice whispered painfully.

The pigtailed girl paused for a moment before answering. "Y-Yes, but-!"

"Play the footage." The boy cut her off.

"What?!" La Brava couldn't believe what she was hearing. The boy had been blown to kingdom come, and he still wanted to go through with this?!

"The video on the flash drive I gave you...play it now..." Deku pleaded in a raspy, whispered voice.

The girl looked between her computer, her beloved Gentle, who was just as perplexed by the boy's wishes, and the laid out form of Deku on the ground in the centre of the stadium. "B-But, Deku-!"

"JUST DO IT!"

The girl shot her head back, her whole body shaking from the sudden outburst of the usually quiet, shy boy she'd known for a while.

"Please..." The boy begged to her, in a voice thick with desperation and pleading.

La Brava stared into space after the boy's despondent request.

She looked back at her Gentle, who could only look back at her with perplexment, not knowing what the next best course of action was.

The girl turned back to her laptop, seeing the video file in the boy's flash drive window, tempting her to go along with the young mastermind's wishes.

Deciding that there didn't seem to be any other choice, La Brava clicked on the video.

The jumbo screen in the centre of the stadium, showing an image of Bakugo and the Green Rabbit on its giant monitor, suddenly cut out, its picture turning to buzzing, fuzzy static. Midnight looked up to the screen with wide, surprised eyes. "What the?!"

Bakugo stopped his approach and turned to face the screen.

All eyes started to be drawn to the surrounding monitors of the stadium, as one by one they all started to turn.

Soon enough, the whole arena is filled with the sound of humming, miscellaneous noise.

"W-What the-? What's going on?!" Mic demanded over the speakers until the picture suddenly came back.

Only it wasn't of the centre of the ring.

It was of a recording off of an old digital camera, where the interior of a quaint little bedroom could be seen, facing a doorway.

Everyone in the arena was confused and slightly afraid. None of them could recognize the environment on the monitor.

...Except Inko.

"T-That...that's my bedroom..."

"Ready?" The voice of a much younger Inko Midorya spoke through the surrounding speakers, making everyone wonder who she was talking to.

"Ready!" Another voice spoke from behind the door, belonging to what must have been a small child.

The young Inko holding the camera giggled. "Alright...'Oh, no! Someone, help~!"

The front door to her bedroom was shoved aside, revealing a tiny infant with freckles on his cheeks, wearing a small All Might onesie, with a little tuff of green hair poking out of the hood, as he struck a heroic pose.

"Have no fear, For I am Here!"
